00 Welcome back to the nullify Tech channel here on YouTube where we've got the TNT takes for you on Australian Survivor Heroes vs villains episode 8 that's right I am back and I always knew this was going to be a difficult episode and a difficult Tribal Council to follow on from the exciting and unprecedented episode that we saw in episode 7 but there was still a lot of hidden gems and good little tidbits for us to talk about here in this episode so before we get into it consider subscribing consider liking this content for more in the future and it does help the channel get recognized as we continue to grow to 2 000 subscribers here on the nullify take Channel but let's start off with number one the aftermath at the villains tribe now in the beginning of the episode we do see Shawnee and Liz sitting down with Stevie who was very emotional and broke down in front of Buffalo's and Shawnee and said thank you for saving me you now have my loyalty 100 which I now believe Stevie as well and truly put the plan to go after Shawnee behind him maybe it'll come back up if she does go to the end with him and they're in like a final five final six situation but I do think Stevie now has decided that he wants to work with Shawnee in this game moving forward and with Liz because he needs

20 Numbers he needs people that he can trust and Shawnee says we love you that's why he saved you and I've got to say man like really had me there for a moment you know emotionally seeing this guy break down I think that it happens to a lot of players and we just don't see it on our screens every single time but you know you're stripped from everything that you have in life all the luxuries and comfort of home you don't know who you can trust I think a lot of men and women have broken down in this game before but this one we did get to see on the camera and you know Stevie is just a good guy I think Stevie is too pure for this game he came into the season as a villain you know he's got the sneaky Persona he wants to play as the sneaky character this quirky character out on the show but I think in his core he's a very good person who actually finds it hard to be this villainous person because that's not who he is outside of the game and I think that sort of caught up to him now and I think the loyalty is going to be with this Spice Girls Alliance or whatever they're going to call themselves moving forward in the game we also see Jordy having to deal with Simon and the aftermath of that betrayal and Jordy just owning up to the fact that listen I couldn't trust you moving forward I felt like you may go somewhere else I felt like you were burning your own game and I wasn't going to go down as collateral damage with

40 You these guys have been gunning for you for days and Simon says that he knows that I don't think he did I think he was confident about the fact that he had the numbers on his side to take George out and Jordy also gives us little bit of a behind the scenes look of how his life has changed since he played the game about a year ago and I do believe that Jordy potentially came back too soon to play Survivor I've heard from many players that I've interviewed on the channel before that it can take up to a year just to get over your experience the first time that you were out there and he's got so many different things going on in his life he was a single guy the first time he played the game he had less to lose you know now he's got this beautiful partner at home he's got a kid on the way and he's kind of questioning his own motivation to be there in the first place and we have seen like a softer side of the joke of this season with saying let's not get personal let's not get to that level and I think that sort of parent side of him that more mature side of him is coming out already in the game I really am all for Joker and I really do hope that he does find his place with Shawnee does have a conversation with him and she says she understands why he's feeling burned by George and funny enough we didn't get any content from George this episode which was very strange you know from a confessional standpoint in any case but it does seem like Shawnee and Liz understand why Jordy fuels

01 Betrayed they both believed that he could be a loyal number and Shawnee says she does want to work with him further in the game and Jordy very smartly you know does appeal to shawnee's fun side because we haven't seen Shawnee have a lot of fun this season up until this point you know if you think back about the Little Rascals the lines that you had with Harry and she had with Nick there was a lot of fun and lighthearted moments Shawnee is a person who likes to have fun when she's out playing Survivor and I feel like this tribe and this Rift between George and Simon has taken a dark twist and it's had a toll on Shawnee up until this point like you could even see at Tribal Council she looked like she was really there was no life in her face at that previous episode I didn't have an opportunity to mention this and it looked like the fun has been sucked out of shawnee's game at this point so I do hope that they do get to have that come back in their game if they do continue to work together Simon and George also at the immunity challenge spoke all the tea about what happened in the previous Tribal Council Simon starts off he's like I'm burning this trap I don't give a crap about them anymore and I'm just gonna let everybody know this is what happened George gives his opinion of what happened as well and everybody now knows that Simon's got an idol George has played an idol and I've got to say it doesn't look good for George at this point like I said yesterday he could go to the end of the game and I still

21 Think he could but I also think that he might go to the end of the game and again lose because he won't get the votes because it does seem like even his alliance members thought he went a little bit filed Geordie the previous night so it's not looking too good for the king when it comes to trying to win this game number two the villains finally pull out another win they had to go and compete in this challenge by having two pairs keep a block in between their feet up and it was an endurance and a battle of wolves type of challenge the really interesting thing for me here was that the heroes decided to sit out their strongest females in the game knowing that they couldn't sit them out back to back and they had flick Haley and Nina all sit out of this immunity challenge which I thought was very interesting I would have probably thought about staggering it you definitely wanted some of them in there but Paige and Shani they are the two girls who go into this challenge against Shawnee and Liz and Shawnee and Liz pulls this out Shawnee looks Rock Solid locked in she's not going back to tribal count Council she doesn't want to lose more numbers and Liz obviously being an Olympic Athlete you know she keeps up with Shawnee who it seems maybe have the record in this challenge of being over two hours Paige and Shani on the other hand was an interesting one because they do end up dropping the block but Shani was very supportive

41 Of Paige as Paige was struggling on the challenge and sort of in tears because she was really struggling out this shiny looked Rock Solid but when that block dropped she put all the blame on Shani saying that she's the one who dropped it and she didn't communicate with her and she becomes very upset even to the point where when jlp talks about it and mentions that she drop you know she's very offended by it and to me it's quite shocking because they were a team out there like flick said it doesn't matter who dropped the Block in the first place it is about who do we now vote out but Paige took this very seriously and I don't understand why I don't get it because from the screen it looked like you know she was the one that was struggling more than shiny in this challenge but when I rewind it back because I had to go look at who dropped it does look like shani's legs dropped first so maybe she does have a point in this and the fact that she lost it but yeah I don't know I thought it was a bit Petty the whole fight between them but in Survivor you've got to make your own luck and you've got to put a Target on other people's back and maybe Paige felt a little bit vulnerable after being in the hero position not being able to pull it out against the villain's tribe here but yeah I just thought it didn't look good on page to be honest there's a specific move number three I want to get into this we've got jury coming back to Camp here and I said that I didn't understand why Jerry made this

01 Move with the previous top five takes and I'm still confused to a certain degree he says that you know it's about not dropping his mates and going back for shiny and wanting to be there but he's not playing a very clever game going back to the heroes because he also sits down with them and really gives it to them like you guys betrayed me this is the hierarchy everybody knows about it making the Euros very uncomfortable and pointing out that the likes of himself Shani and Benjamin's at the bottom which makes Benjamin more alert as well and I just don't think he's playing ball with the heroes which again to me feels like he should have stayed with the villain stride because at least there he had numbers and at least there he could strategize and work with them I really questioned his motive for going back and going down with the ship here with Shani I don't think he's got the Killer Instinct I was hoping that he's more of a capable player than what he is but to me now it does look like it was a bad move and this swap that is going to happen is going to be very timely for Jerry in this game and he's got to hope that he finds his people again in the villains tribe so he can go deeper moving forward because obviously at the end of this losing shiny means he's got no alliance members left on that Hero's tribe number four now that Benjamin knows that the heat is coming his way in this episode he talks a lot about the fact that he needs to make his own luck in the game and he does find a disc in

21 The rice or the beans they'd look exactly the same as Simon's he actually knows as someone that's watched the game that it's probably not an advantage on its own because there's no notes to tell him what he's got and he looks at it as a clue which makes me wonder is Simon's disc a clue or does it still mean more than that because we didn't have that coconut with the idol symbol being placed before this I don't think so it was at the Well everybody's been looking for Idols around the world so they must have placed it quite recently it's the same Idol that obviously Shawnee finds here in this specific episode as well which is awesome for Shawnee I'm so happy she gets some power in her hands as they move to potentially a swap in this next episode so with that you've got Shawnee Shawn and Benjamin wolfen Idol in this episode but obviously Benjamin does have to play that Idol at the end and Matt sort of notices him as he gets it as well and tells the boys that they need to split the vote which means that they have a bit of a strategy talk about if Benjamin plays this Idol where do we put our vote and they decide that they're going to go for Jerry even though the girls talk about Shani as a potential option and you know obviously at the tribal council Benjamin make things happen he goes up to the girls and he says I'm going to play my idol you guys can go and vote out Shani she's not to be trusted

41 She's this loyal person a snake which is hilarious to me because clearly the whole time she's preaching made sure she's preaching being a hero and all that stuff you could just see that she's a honorable person and probably too honorable for the game and I think that's maybe a reason they voted her out as well because they do need people that understand that this is a game where deceit and betrayal is going to be a thing you need battle hardened people in the game and again this is another loss another L for the production team or the casting team of Australian Survivor when they do these stunt castings of people who aren't really necessarily into the game of Survivor and their celebrities but they get them for the numbers to have more eyeballs on the screen it's a bad move because these people come into the game and they don't know how to play it they don't they don't understand it and shiny got found out she's probably like I reckon she's probably the best person out there but Survivor is not about the best person it never has been it's about who can you know outwit out playing out last and she didn't have those components to her game but a question I've got for myself is with Shani leaving the game where does that leave Nina because we've never really gotten a great grip on Nina's game up until this point we know she's strategic we know she's good at confessionals it seems like she's sitting back I don't understand what she's doing and she goes and tells shiny about the plan for this Jerry vote as well which

01 To me looks like she continues to you know nurture this relationship between her and Shani and maybe she thought Shani could have been potentially a number for her in the game but she loses her here so where does that leave her in the game potentially now I'm finding her game very complex and difficult to follow at this stage now number five is gonna be there's gonna be a shake-up coming in this next episode and we've seen some hierarchies formed within both tribes you know I did find it interesting that they continue to show us Sean and Haley's relationship as they went onto the beach to have a conversation about where the votes were going to go it does show me that the two a players in that team are still working together to a certain degree and then obviously Benjamin walked up so I believe with this hidden hierarchy that Sean has working with Haley on the side and the boys isn't aware of it's gonna have a big role to play as we continue through this season and potentially at some point the boys are going to get blindsided by this because Sean is not playing a straightforward game and I can't wait to see that narrative and storyline play out in front of our screens also seeing the swamp come up next week it will be interesting to see how that's going to shake up the Dynamics within the era's tribe like do we get a mixture of those boys being split up and potentially Landing with some of the girls do the bottom people and Benjamin and Jerry find a new

22 Lease on life because they end up maybe with a few villains that need numbers all of this is going to be very interesting because the game is going to definitely evolve from here onwards a very low hopes for Paige and Benjamin at this stage though I do think that Benjamin is someone that if you played another season he maybe would have done a lot better but playing against these experienced campaigners they can see he's a player that can see he's creating all this drama around him and that he's sneaky that's not going to be a good thing for Benjamin's game and potentially they're gonna aim to get him rid of him regardless of where he ends up and then Paige for me like Benjamin said comes across as a very emotional player I thought she freaked out about this challenge unnecessarily and I don't think that you know showing that this is how she's reacting Under Pressure it's only going to get harder as the game continues on the pressure is going to be that much more intense so I don't have high hopes for her after this episode as well and then for Jerry obviously he needs that you know swap into a villain stripe where he can go back to George's alliance with Shawnee and Liz Simon could also get a Lifeline here with this coming up in the next episode I do see him potentially you know teaming up with Sean as we see in the next on part of Survivor so potentially he does get that Bromance going that he's always wanted in the game and he really needs it at this point anyways that's my five talking points here for this

42 Episode of Australian Survivor I'll catch you guys tomorrow night it should be an exciting one when we get to find out where everybody lands on this new two tribes when they do the swap
