0:01 Foreign [Music] [Music] [Music] foreign [Music] thank you for your TNT takes on million dollar Island Australia my name is Kahuna and I'm very lucky to be joined this week of course by my main man himself the Wonder Boy himself the Great White Hope m-u-c-k-n-y-m-u-c-k-y it's Mucky folks thank you so much Kahuna I always look forward to your amazing
1:22 Positive intros always it fills me up with energy and so much positivity you know thank you so much imagine if we're gonna have a second season of the show what I might come up with then yeah exactly we are here of course folks to talk about Mandela Island Australia it is the finale episode we've got our winners ground winners I guess is the appropriate there's no one winner to win at all but before we get to that we do want to send a big shout out to people in the chat already if you've join us thank you so much if you're going to join us can't wait to see you soon but before Danica V says dropped our husband off of work she's going to be listening in the car before she gets back to the computer Andre Lee with the with a call on the finale episode already calling a deal with no deal Aussie style the finale episode interesting and Jonathan gray Mr stats himself our Guru on million dollar Island Australia my girl Rachel really came second in both challenges man and he said anyway hello boys hello Jonathan so yeah Mucky first of all it might sounding okay sound good I apologize to people if it's not that clear you can see no microphone in my face I'm actually using my webcams microphone which is pretty crappy I
2:42 Had problems with my microphone yesterday couldn't fix it today at all I'm not sure what's going on so we're gonna have to figure that out soon but you can hear me loud and clear everything's good yes loud and clear everything's all good and hopefully this fiery tag wall can hear me says hey everyone thank you for the awesome coverage of the show so when is season two I mean I don't know we'll see hopefully we get it into I don't know what the ratings were like I do kind of know what the rains were like it stayed steady throughout the season still over 430 000 I think for the finale which you know not the best but it started the season on 460 and then ended the season of 430 000 so that's a good sign overall but we do come to the finale episode which we're going to talk about some of the stuff that went down Mucky finale about four weeks 100 people down to seven we had Rachel on twenty thousand we had highly thirty thousand Alice 120 000 Matt 130 Jordan 130 Bret 180 and the big dog on the island to go into the final was Chelsea 390.
3:53 Oh I do want to point out I still have my bracelet so I'm in the game still no matter what happens I'm gone forever so with the finale monkey season ending episode there's no wheel spin Chelsea is Miss big buck he's got first spot secured automatically she walks into the final three so she gets the advantage of also who like to determine basically who has the best shot to go with her as we go into the final Arena challenge of the of the season and basically by going into the final three she's got the power to decide the placement in the challenge you know so interesting the way they kind of play out because we've said from the start that unlike other games of similar style again the relationships the Friendship equals fortune and that and you get to see who picks where what your connection with is you know and interesting so the way she ended up choosing it was he made Matt go first yeah right so the challenge in this one is that they have to stand on balance on a rope with these blocks that look like they cause all sorts of pain like they're seeing on their faces like it did not look like a comfortable situation at
5:14 All similar to what we all we all we often end up with on Survivor is the final challenge is usually the endurance torture rack some sort of device to inflict as much pain as possible on human beings than capture it live for our entertainment yeah it's always it's always tough watching those like endurance ones because there's ones with like it seems so simple like just standard you know but as I'm describing it like it's like standing one Lego so normally even our foot touches they're gonna be like jump in the ears imagine having to intentionally like press your feet down on Lego but now that special is it like even just being in the Rope causes you know you're gonna like I'm surprised you into you know how you use yeah with the overcompensating you just and that's what I was looking forward but I guess that like the I thought the challenge matched the magnitude of the event it was the final challenge it was the one that went for a long time it was torturous it was painful and it also I think they're taking a leap out of survivor's book a little bit with those challenges it gives good poses like the
6:34 Way they had to stand on it and like you get that the torture rack almost like you know the crucifix type pose you get to see them in pain and that sort of thing which is always interesting so Chelsea has the decision here on who goes first and in what order they step onto the blocks the logic being the longer you're on the blocks the harder it's going to be for you the shorter time you're having the blocks the easier it's going to be for you and we see that again the relationships and the connection plays out here she ends up putting Matt first so that's pseudo kind of a Alliance he tried to snake out of stake away from Jordy didn't work because we see that Jordy ends up getting yeah and then of course Brett who's been with her from the start gets the final placement and we see like I don't necessarily know if being first played a part in it but Matt is the first to go out kind of passing out here very scarily what do you think of the challenge here oh it was a really intense challenge wasn't it like you could tell like how hard the chunch was especially with the hot sun you know they've been starving they don't have much in them so it's difficult nobody
7:54 And you kind of saw everyone struggling especially Brett like I thought he would have been out way earlier than what it was but now Mad Dog Brit he still had on tight but I felt really sorry for Matt because you could tell he had so much more to give to that challenge but just yeah he said he was still feeling fine and he just happened to pass out which is always scary when you see someone look and of course they're gonna keep fighting because they did have as our man of alternator points out one player will win a share of one million dollars foreign welcome buddy welcome and there's Rachel just talking about hello Rachel that final challenge Rachel the torture challenge if you will and they similar to Survivor as well they decide they're probably going to stay here while we need to start ramping it up two hours in they ramp up the difficulty they go instead of two feet let's do one foot device in the middle and at that point is when they start dropping pretty quickly Matt had his pass out moment but then Brett followed by Kylie Alice is devastated when she goes off and then ends up being Rachel and Jordan battling it out 2
9:15 Hours 15 goes past so another 15 minutes when it's on one foot and after up it again one hand only so one foot one hand and it's a Rachel going up against Jordy and absolutely having a I guess a hero moment here you know like it's a pretty big challenge outcome for her to be going up against Jordan she'd not only be Brett who's the villain of the season she beat Kyla who's been like the spiritual leader of log and the mascot of log cab camp and then a much younger former challenge winner in Alice and Rachel's there with Jordy the 21 year old bloke who's won challenges as well and it's been seen as a bit of a physical threat and Rachel's there the whole way along with him you know what I mean like a real shiny hero moment for her I thought which the one challenge he did he completely just smashed out of the park you know so get really good great job there Rachel for lasting like as long as you did you did really well and she was super close like who knows how long yeah Mad Dog Jordy had left on them but ultimately Jordy takes it out he ends up you know with the win and it's a huge
10:35 Win because automatically he gets into the top three and he gets a chance at the end game which we don't know what it is at that point you know what I mean yeah so and there's some love from vault which doesn't come off into his fellow Islanders but no they need to Rachel anyway yeah I was just thinking that like we'll talk about that window at the next bit yeah we'll get to that because there is something there I think yeah I'm saying Fred's the same thanks for backing me Jonathan for the top three I hope to be proud of the episode The Great I was thinking survival was pretty prepared to be there for hours of balancing on one hand one foot got me it was definitely hard I can imagine yeah really great job Rachel really great job so yeah Jordy wins second place is assured and then that's when ant lets them know how they're gonna get the third person into the final three and it's determined by a vote it's social it's connections the whole time it's like it's really interesting and that's what Vault was actually saying here to
11:55 Rachel I love you but why did you vote for it so yeah we actually get to see the point here where jordy's in to the final two Chelsea Dean automatically she's got the big butt jordy's in automatically here now he can see he's won his way in by a physical challenge and it's almost like the perfect tie-in for what we've seen the entire season right the person who's in charge is the person with the most money they get the most power the person who at the physical challenge gets someone into the final and then the social component gets someone into the final three as well with the vote of who you want to go in so I plan I found that really fascinating to kind of capture the essence of the game in one little thing by having one be physical one be social and know that they're both equal because they both got there you know what I mean yeah exactly and I mean so it's kind of been the thing throughout this whole game it's like you've got to be you know like pretty decent at challenges or on like you know really good because only one person can run them at a time and you've read social and from really good strong bonds which for the longest time I never really understood right
13:15 It's like obviously you make good bands in your camp but if someone was surreal they're not going to choose people from their own Camp so there's a chance it could be you but it really doesn't matter towards the end game like your social connections and everything so yeah I mean your personality they played up on it the whole time it's not a surprise either right they got the whole way through friendship equals fortune and we've been calling it that relationships every week I've been saying a relationships with key relationships won't get you far and then it turns out they actually end up choosing via social connection via vote who's going to get into that final three and they have a chance to have their pitches their you know they're trying to persuade or buy a vote I guess or you know persuade them for the vote and we get to see people being like very real here including the big bad wolf Brett where we get to see his motivation and how he really is like he wants to do environmentalist stuff and plant trees which is amazing when we get to we get the edit of the bad guy he's there obviously Making Connections and all of them really are pretty touching Alice has a story about getting bullied in high school Kylie was kind of really heartwarming as far as admitting that she probably doesn't
14:35 Deserve to be there but she's not about the money and that some people have other stories and I found that component really I guess satisfying and then obviously we know Rachel's heartbreaking story as well I love that last episode she was referred to as a soccer mom but in this episode when she's telling her story she's she called herself an oncology mum and that what she's been through with her family struggles has been obviously very you know building of a character and got her to this point in the game so all of that was really like sweet and I found like heartwarming and touching and then do you remember what Matt's story was what his future was yeah it's just that he's just young he's got dreams invisible the money to accomplish that's so funny he's like I'm young I totally want to be awesome later like I've Got the Whole World ahead of me and it'll be cool if I had a lot of money to do that so yeah next to literal cancer bullying like talking about he's like hey man I'm young against them I'm pretty freaking
15:56 Awesome how about you pay me out for it yeah no I'm like yeah when you're in that position of match right where everyone around you's got the strong emotional stories do just make one up I don't know like you know you can be you know I was born at a really young age first two years of my life I couldn't even walk you know just make up something just to try and match everyone because I don't know it'll be well I think when you I mean I'm sure these people would tell us otherwise but for me I feel like the way they got to know each other by spending that intense amount of time together I don't think you can be bullshitting you know what I mean yeah definitely like they were all obviously very real they're all very you know honest and I thought like I said like even Brett who's the villain of the Season showing his soft decide and getting real for a minute was really interesting you know what I mean yeah that was like even as Rachel said like it was cool to see Brett actually for once not be playing up for the cameras or you know not trying to be villainous and stuff yeah
17:16 Perfectly that was a game-changing movie Brit because I don't think he makes it in without chewing there well that's an interesting point because I mean we find out at this point as well that Chelsea will be the tiebreaker if there is Italian vote but essentially there's the five votes really to get to the final three for one person and when we when Vault sort of asked Rachel why would you vote for Brett if we actually have the answer yeah hey well I'm an environmental rental sizes so his cause of Plenty trees resonated most with me I was a very close to voting Kylie though and she was such a great support so there you go so you could be very right Brett actually having had that story of being wanting to plant trees and being in a very environmentalist happened to see with the environmental scientist in Rachel and got the vote like yeah Rachel ended up like technically the way it played out so Alice they do the vote let's go through it Alice vote for Rachel right Kylie votes for Rachel Brett votes
18:36 For Alice which is kind of smart if like because if he had voted for Rachel after her story it would have basically secured very cleverly votes for Alice there without a vote and then Rachel votes for Brett so Rachel what I appreciate I guess is that we know that Rachel voted for who she thought deserved it to whom yeah who yeah like it the story resonated with her she picked the way she was gonna pick not for gameplay not for anything but who she wanted to vote for so but I found that really interesting she just so happened to unfortunately end up voting herself out of the equation to get to that final three yeah but I don't I don't know like maybe you I think the thing is as well she voted first for bridge he didn't know that Brett would necessarily get other votes that's an interesting question Rachel if did you did you think that there was a chance that Brett might get another vote from that after the fact did you have any take on who Brett on Who Matt was going to vote for and kind of tip it to the to the tying vote because that's really interesting you know what I mean yeah I was actually
19:57 Because the Britain vote before Kylie or did Kylie vote before Brett Kylie voted before Brett so when Alice Rachel highly Rachel and then Brett Alice so Brett definitely had the information there to not throw the Rachel's way because if he had voted for Rachel it's automatically done so he was smart enough there Rachel didn't have any information as to whether Matt where Matt would go to put a vote on Brett so I guess that's not bad it's better than putting on an ALICE right because then Alice would have two so the only options for Rachel's votes would have been either Brett or Matt and not knowing how where Matt was voting I mean it was a 50 for Rachel I think there anyway you know what I mean like you could have put it on Matt but who knows what I guess maybe that would have been the best because you can guarantee that Matt can't vote for himself right yeah so that would have that basically would have secured it if she had voted for Matt unless Brett voted for that as well yeah but I think Brett would do that because I think he would want to somehow tie himself and
21:18 So if he ties Madden Hugo what I mean Opera is really 2-2 then though oh yeah brittle ready voted for Alice sorry I've read a really bad fellas and then Rachel voted for bread say French will have voted for Matt not vote for himself and then automatically yeah Russia would have won on it too yeah red Jordan one and a two yeah two one two one I did think Brett would have voted for Matt oh okay but then Matt couldn't vote for Matt anyway so you could ah this is interesting yeah I finally there was like an idol or something I think you know like before then they came back with coffee Brett was being strategically yeah absolutely yeah and Tariq I didn't send you a shout out I'm so sorry if you have been commenting so shout out to Tarik tea I don't think making votes to the spot will be fair so good to know that it was done on camera previously so keep it clean yeah oh okay see my comment above sorry I missed that Rachel wit okay so
22:39 She did confirm we had to go aside to the cameras and tell them who were going to vote for privately before even lined up right that makes a lot of sense I guess making TV shows they're pretty smart at it you know what I mean yeah oh that's actually yeah really smart yeah so they've basically done their vote anonymously not knowing the information of who voted before you and stuff yeah that makes a lot of sense Rachel oh okay yeah no because I guess it helps so then like if you see like someone else who's getting more votes you can't just switch it up yeah I guess Rachel was more where did you think matzo was gonna go like if you had an idea of how Matt was leaning you know what I mean yeah that could have been that could have been yeah interesting yeah so we end up with the votes going Alice Rachel Kylie Rachel Brett Alice Rachel Brett and then Matt locks it up to a piece when he votes for rat Brett and Chelsea has the deciding factor with the big dollars comes a big part a big responsibility I think that's what Spider-Man says and Chelsea looks genuinely
23:59 Like pained by the decision she does not want to do it you know what I mean yeah that's I mean that's a hard time here we go I thought Matt would have voted for me from Rachel I helped him and Chloe make her rope that's a very good point so it probably was a good pick to vote for Brett not if you thought that Matt was in your pocket as well so I get that yeah completely yeah Adam just going just going back to earlier like it must be quite hard for a chance to try and make that decision because you've got like a mate you know you've been with this entire game worth and you've been like the top dog with them for so long but then you've also go Rachel he's got such like a heartwarming story someone who also really desperately needs the money like you know like it was between like Rachel by the way this is this is Rachel's heart she's the one that got the choice against her and she's sympathizing with the decision maker that she did you know that sort of thing so it shows how sweet a person Rachel is yeah would you have chosen Brit as well if you're in Chelsea's
25:19 Position in Chelsea's position yeah I think so because like I think what this says to us though right is obviously the edit we know TV is TV and the edit doesn't show us everything because the if the edit showed us anything we'd probably get more of a vault of as far as personalities go but the edit obviously shows us the villain the bad guy who's giving really good quotes he gives great confessionals he's playing it up but the people obviously saw something very different to what we saw because he's trying his tribe his Camp really seemed to love him and I thought it was interesting at one point while Chelsea is giving her little speeches to why she picked the way she picked she actually said to Brett you've played in the Limelight the entire time even though I know you didn't want to and that was one line that like sort of tweets I was like oh like that's a really interesting thing to say like how much did they did Brett play up what he was playing for the sake of his tribe for being the target the scapegoat the main guy kind of thing that gets all the attention but maybe the conversations he was having privately said otherwise
26:39 You know yeah I mean I think it's hard when you're Brit's position goes right from the start to the most number of bracelets so all eyes are on him right so it kind of has to play up like this whole sort of alpha player type guy you know so I think yes I think we sort of put into that position from the start and then obviously he had to choose the camp versus camp and whatnot as well I think it's very hard to escape the Limelight right from the start you're having to make some big massive decisions so yeah so who knows maybe if Brett was not put into that first ever challenge we would have seen a completely different Brit you know it's Eric said here I think Chelsea and Matt voted like I would have I always want to reward the best gameplay is and Brett was the Richard Hatch of the Season he came to play from the moment he landed on the beach and he deserves to be in the final he said he said I never thought it was a villain he was just being frustrated and honest without his thoughts but he never struck me as a rude or evil and I don't think he was Tariq everyone's when they when I say villain I mean like for the camera like he does the you know I'll cut his leg off and eat him and all that sort of thing like he was that type of person and but I think it was definitely played up
28:00 Rachel with the call he said I knew that the end game was a briefcase because honestly I was so spent after doing three channels back to back and then doing the equivalent of a jury pitch I was happy going home knowing oh yeah that's cool but she'd smash some personal goals and having some amazing hero mode you got your hero moment for sure Rachel definitely got your hero moment so here's some Bolt the Brit was cast as the person he was he was cast to be an Enviro guy then I guess because he loved WWE and was in the spotlight from the start he adapted but yes I heard he was casted to be the person he became so yeah after Chelsea makes that decision she chooses Brit I think I would have chosen bread as well like she was with him from the get-go they were you know very good like really in sync she obviously didn't see the confessionals where he says I hope Chelsea goes home I'm happy for her so maybe she didn't see that but as far as the conversations they had it seemed like they were pretty close from the get-go except for what he was saying behind him back and she ends up choosing Brett so we lose for our four challenges and we have to they
29:20 Have to then give their bracelets to the final three and choose who gets what so we get Kylie giving her 30k to Chelsea we get Rachel giving her 20 000 for Jordan Alice dumping 120 000 in Jordan and then Matt with 130 Kate's Brett after voting for him as well which brings us to the final three and what will be probably I don't know I haven't got your take at all on this we're fresh and it's lucky but I think it's a controversial final the way people have been talking about it online but we're going to a final three Chelsea 420 000 Brett with 310 000 and Jordan with 270 000. yeah so that is so far their share of a million dollars okay and when we get to the final we see 100 box boxes out basically crates each corresponding to a bracelet okay so each of the boxes of the one to one hundred number what ten thousand dollars in each of the boxes except for three bombs placed throughout the hundred and the allocation of boxes are based on the number of bracelets
30:41 On their wrist so essentially Chelsea had four 42 boxes out for her in front of her to pick from Brett had 31 and Jordan had 27. and basically the Twist here is the bomb the bomb that is one bomb out of your allocation however they bought that they traded the 10 000 guaranteed bracelet they've got their bracelet guaranteed for the bomb so technically there's still a million dollars in play they've all like there's a million dollars out there right what do you think of this sort of first of all you're only playing for a maximum of what's on your wrist and I mentioned this a couple weeks ago that I think it may be what you've got available to you don't have the full million yeah and then the Box really kind of brings the potential winnings down if you haven't got the guts to play through it what did you think of the four the final I was pretty mixed on a if I'm being perfectly honest you know it's one of those things with like you've made for the top three you know because I'm I think I mentioned this in the last podcast but I just had recently re-watched squid game and that sort of changed my perception on
32:01 On my views of women dollar Island where it's not like survivors actually more like a friendlier version of squid game and so I personally think that there should have been like one winner who got that full million width of those decided by a challenge or maybe even something like this where like love to open up the boxes but whoever opens up the bomb one gets eliminated or something like that right to something which is completely made of luck who knows but yeah but at the same time it makes sense that you play for what you for kind of what you've earned so far but it just makes me think what's that guy's name Sean imagine if Sean got to the end and he had like two or three brothers that's interesting we said last week Marky we're like you know what if we were the type to do any kind of homework and due diligence for a show like this we would have known exactly what happened in the Netherlands version that has already finished and Jonathan actually said it was exactly the same as the Netherlands yeah and Rachel actually confirmed about a third of the contestants arriving on the island didn't do any due diligence and research what happens in the nether what happened in the Netherlands they thought one winner one million which
33:21 Is why they weren't happy necessarily why they quit oh because they thought they were like being duped but it was always going to be the case you know what I mean yeah which yeah which makes me think that the strategy I feel like for million dollar island is to like just reference that try and make yourself the richest player on the island because it's either you're the richest part on the island you get guaranteed into the final three and you've got more money to potentially choose from or you get knocked out because some put you in a challenge and then you get to go home and you don't have to wait around on an island I feel like that's probably the prime strategy after seeing like how it sort of works and then so you're going to throw yourself in let's talk about strategies next season now that we've seen so we'll talk about it in a minute but we'll finish out how it ended up sort of playing out Jordy walked had came in with the least amount of money so he had 27 cases he's pulling cases he's nervous he's showing jumping up and down he ends up stopping himself at 60 000 plus the 10 000 guaranteed he walks away with seventy thousand dollars
34:42 Or I guess third place like it's he was third place he had 270 and left with 70. then Brett our villain our environmentalist he's storming through he's confident he's just running through the whole thing picking up and he gets all the way to a hundred thousand and reset on lucky number 13. actually it was his birthday no I'm it's quite funny because when they made the whole thing about how this is you know Mad Dog Mike's number I was Loki expected that to have the bomb in it because how funny would that have been you know Mike Britain yeah Mike Chapman's one is one that costed them in the end you know I was I was getting ready for that but he opens the crate and sees the bomb and it goes boom meaning that he loses the entire hundred thousand ten thousand dollars is the only bit guaranteed and that's what Brett walked away with how did you feel about that I guess the bomb twist and also for Brett I felt really bad for Brett but something I was thinking the whole time is white if you like get
36:02 The bomb don't you get to keep everything else this door wasn't opened like the other boxes yeah so I was like oh if you get the bomb doesn't like really matter just try to get it at the start think everything else but saying that you could once you get the bomb like that's it you're done yeah I felt really bad for break yeah I guess it makes sense for us character though his character has always been you know like he talks a lot of smack he plays big and plays hard he doesn't really slow down and that's what kind of kind of costed him in the end unfortunately but it felt really bad for Brit though but I also like the bomb twist I think there was another smart element to sort of Adam if they make sense because I guess these types of games there is a lot of luck involved and this was just like the final luck but yeah what was your thoughts on the final I've said this a number of times like one of the things that you struggle with and you show like people is because we have other shows comparison especially ones that everything look very similar right the whole island even beyond the island and when you're on an island like the structures are made out of bamboo and the challenges all look both as
37:23 That Island builtwood like they're trying to convince myself to film myself that it's an interesting game and when you get in your head that it is completely efficient product you start to appreciate it for yourself a little bit more rather than in the light of other games other shows so again I think this end thing was a head missed me because it just flipped like it's not one winner there's no actual competition between the final three at all they're not actually trying to take each other out they're not going to vote each other out they're not going to beat each other in anything before the final three then you have every chance of winning your maximum amount what's on your bracelet as the other so she didn't have an advantage over the other two as far as beating them she had the advantage of more crates and therefore her odds were better for longer if you know what I mean rather than so yeah I found it fascinating from that perspective we did see Chelsea have her go she got all the way up to 100 and she called it quit says at 110 so in essence out of a million dollar Island Australia they only gave away 290 000 it's 100 190 000 170
38:44 Plus yeah 110 plus 70 plus 10 yeah 190. so less than 200 000 but technically the million dollars was out there 30 000 guaranteed 970 still to play for and it came down to like you mentioned before you said a lot of the game other type of shows and a lot of other type of games luck plays a big part and it comes down to the components but in this game the challenges at least we've as I said before what predicted what got into the final three or what allowed people to get was the physical challenge and the skill and then the social aspect in the and the like the relationships died and luck didn't play a part in any of those games along the whole way but you know what I remembered like why it kinda actually fits and if I'm playing Devil's Advocate why it works to have a final that is so based on luck and you know people are probably going to say like I mean like here before Danica V says the show really saves money since they don't actually pay out a million yeah but at least everyone went in with money minimum ten thousand years so they do save money because they're not
40:04 Guaranteeing a million dollars but the million dollars could be played for so we've got the social aspect huge the entire way through the entire game monkey social and connection and networking and the feels plays a huge part and then your ability physical skills contest competition side plays a huge part and one thing that played a huge part from the get-go as well we talk about luck was the wheel that determine power that is part of it right so we have the physical we have the skill we have the relationship and luck was built into the equation it's always been part of it's it's yeah like it's literally a roulette wheel determining that who gets the power in the game so to have a final where we have the person with the most money get in which should be technically a combination of the physical and the relationship if they've been gifted bracelets and won them then we have the person getting in for the physical we have the person getting in for the relationship and then to tie them together we've got the giant gamble that is a million dollar Idol in Australia and the big wheel of basically picking your things until a bomb comes out or having the balls of steel to keep picking as the odds it keeps getting worse and worse I found it fascinating it's not Survivor
41:25 It's not one winner it's not I took it out I'm the lone Champion I beat you it's yeah no absolutely it's like yeah it's something that I think has taken a while for me and probably for you as well is accepting that Melinda island is a different show because I think it's so easy to compare it to some of the other shows because there's only one like it and you know we obviously didn't do our homework and watch the what's the Netherlands fun so I thought we could do is compared to everything else but the Netherlands I'm into lion but I feel like once you've like accepted what it is I feel like it's a great show on its own yeah I thought so too and we ended up with essentially two winners Jordy with 70 000 and Chelsea with 110 000 and Brett with the consolation prize of ten thousand but across the season we've talked in a lot of people complained about not giving to no people before they go before they quit and all that sort of thing but we ended up with a final three and really a final seven that kind of we
42:45 We did get to know and we saw that the editing actually did give us what we need especially for this final three really for a long time Brett from the get-go Chelsea a little bit later but played a very big part in the show being the big the big box and Jordan played a huge part in the show as well so it ended up giving us what we needed as far as understanding the end game and the end story throughout the entire season you're different but I think as well as like I think I was talking about this with Chris as well on one podcast we did but it's a thing where it's like the edit is based around the challenges not about like the storytelling of getting to the end right like we always saw Brit because he was just entertaining regardless right he was always giving us like you know the ship talks about everyone like in the challenge or at the camp and whatnot but for majority of the people we only saw them if they got in the power or if there were if they had something to do with the challenge right and that's how every episode was structured right from the start to the very end and so I feel like with the place we had left we had you know Chelsea the only player who put the stuff in the challenge and won and then yeah we
44:05 Had Mad Dog Brett who was the underdog reference very start we had Jordan who you know was literally starving stubborn to death he's won two challenges then one the wheel literally the following like episode it's also he had a big sort of story around that Matt was sort of Jordans that big rival and obviously Alice and Kylie like we've sort of see them throughout and Rachel as well she got her like I think it was last week because when she really popped off or was it the way yeah the speed this winning the spear episode that's right yeah there was like a big episode for Rachel so I feel like we yeah we got to know our final seven mostly because of like more recent challenges if it makes sense and yeah it's hard to sort of accept that when I'm so used to other shows but I feel like once you sort of accept the solids like that's how the show likes it like the episodes I feel like it's much easier to kind of sit in a different perspective of their magazines yeah absolutely and speaking in the format of having three winners Rachel actually said that I loved it was three winners it definitely makes it a team game to work together to the end I.E Chelsea choosing Brit and Jonathan
45:25 Did confirm that like Rachel said as well yeah Alice and I giving jordy's breakfast there's no way he can go far without friends so relationships playing a huge part Luck playing an even bigger part in the end but Jonathan confirmed most won by a person in the Netherlands is 120. so we're pretty close to it most total was 210. so yeah pretty much past of course so they can call it that's pretty clever actually they can call it million dollar Island and they can go hey there's a million dollars out there's definitely a million dollars there you just have to pick every single possible one right in order to maximize across three different people yeah very limitful but there's certainly a million dollars but really like 110 for Chelsea in Australian [Music] reality shows that's not a horrible prize like I was asking my wife when we were watching it when do you stop like if you've got if you've got Chelsea's 42 cases right so the first case you've got a 1 in 42
46:46 Chance of getting so like a two percent chance or something of hitting the wrong one right but the thing about the thing about the game is the more creates you open the worse your chances get of hitting it but also the amount of money becomes less and less of a percentage of your current pool as well so it's what do they call that degrading returns or like it gets worse and worse as time goes on so if you open one place right you got ten thousand you've got to open another case that's a hundred percent increase for essentially a two and a half to three percent chance of hitting a thing so the money okay I'm a big poker player Mucky like I and I do the I'm one of the poker players that isn't like oh I saw you move your face and I'm just got a feeling about I actually kind of try to do the maths and can work out odds and stuff so it's like okay there's a five percent chance of me winning here and I'm only increasing my money by four percent chance a five percent chance of getting hit here and that keeps going up and up the more breaks you open so the more you open you've got a worse chance of
48:06 Staying away from the bomb and less money being added to your pool percentage-wise so it gets worse and worse to keep going when you've got 42 how far do you go yeah it's oh it's hard right because it's like I feel like it comes to a gut decision on the day you know because like even Jordy like you were saying how ah I really want to keep going but knowing my luck is not going to keep going well right so I felt concerned to a gut decision at the end of the day with me personally I'm a massive Gambler like not like actually gambling but I just yeah I love to gamble but I lose my gambles every single time so you would be I mean I'd be happy with 10K is pretty good yeah it is very good I would have just kept on going and going until yeah until probably like a weird feeling inside me would have been like Mucky like stopping Mucky stop being Michael and like and just pull out so I'm not really with the that psychology of it that aspect of it because like I mean Chelsea did ten they're still at 31 to 32
49:26 I think it was 30 31 boxes left so one in 31 she's essentially got like a 3.5 97 chance of being fine for one more like that you hear it right you hear it and you go 100 I'm oh 97 I'm taking that 97 chance of safety right but when you have a hundred thousand dollars sitting on a tray in front of you and you know that's what's up for like risk it just adds this level of like magnitude that you and I are not used to and have no way of fathoming a bit of that size you know what I mean like I know it's 97 chance safe three percent chance of a bomb but that three percent chance means I lose 90 000 in one go or a hundred thousand dollars in one go that psychology adds a whole another element which I find completely fascinating you know what I mean yeah it's very it's very interesting so that brings us to the end of season one million dollar Island Australia we had three winners at the end because Brett's still won money we had a hundred people whittled down to three we had a lot of people quick
50:46 Start with a lot of people win our hearts with their stories with the way they play this game and overall we had 13 episodes seven weeks of a brand new format for the screen TV what do you think of million dollar Island Australia season one do we want to season two yeah I would love to see a season two I think it's a show where it's still new but now that it's going to have seen the first season and we know how it works and like other people know how it works too I feel like it makes a lot of contestants would probably be a lot more strategic about certain things I feel like people would be willing to take more larger risks and what's his name is it Jayden the guy the brother from Jason yeah like both of them yeah like I feel like we get more Risk Takers like them who are more willing to go against the entire Camp right and so yeah I feel like if there's season two there'll be a lot more like strategy just like on it how about you like would you like to hear season two yeah I mean I as I said like as long as you can pop compartmentalize and go this isn't Survivor I'm not trying to make it complete with Survivor that has 20 years
52:06 Of pedigree and honing and tweaking this has got one season of Netherlands and then Australia is now the second season to be played out in the world with Netherlands still in a second season as well so it's still finding its footing and I think it's got a very good blueprint or a foundation to start off with I do like it I hope the ratings were strong enough to get because Rachel mentioned earlier that a third of the contestants had no idea what would happen at the end or how it would play out I think as a show gets a second and third and fourth and continues on the strategy does start to evolve and you actually start to see we didn't know at the beginning Mucky like we kept saying it on a week in week out basis as it kept getting confirmed and confirmed and confirmed but you didn't know from the get-go that relationships is everything that the Friendship is Fortune yeah and says it but it doesn't use we've seen it play out and it's woven into the fabric of the entire show that it becomes almost just a bigger part as physical capability is the relationship side and not only does it help you on a week to week basis with food with avoiding getting put into a challenge if you don't want to with using their
53:26 Relationship to get into a challenge if you do want to but also we saw at the end voting for the relationship side or the person the connection side is one of the three it's right up out there with having the most money and winning the physical challenge so I think as people are aware of how the game is played and what's involved I'd like to see how that actually plays out a little bit when how people adapt and evolve with the game you know what I mean yeah and I feel like now I get to ask you this perfect question what has been your favorite ant moment of the season favorite ant moment yes like it's Focus your favorite line like his favorite moment in general because there's been a lot of them like a lot of things he said has been pretty funny but what's been like your favorite I mean I it's not one moment it's just the impediment it's the it's the speech thing because he doesn't have one he has three or something like he hits the R's he hits the th with an f and there's been some times where he'll like throw in a sentence where it just hit like machine gun like you'll do three
54:47 Or four things in one sentence and it just hits my giggle bone right here yeah I just laugh and it's not that he's bad like it's not that it like it's thing it just it just might even despite being in my 40s monkey that bit of me that's still a stupid little kid at heart that laughs can you hear something funny yeah especially you know that you know I'm not picking on a little kid he's a freaking millionaire like Yuri former special forces dude like if there's if there's anyone getting canceled not me laughing at this dude this dude but that to me that's the funniest thing I can't remember a specific moment but it's just sort of the sheen over all of it is me laughing that this guy who does speaks for a living also speaks like a child yeah not that is fair enough I do have one moment which every time I think about it always makes me laugh it's when Laura campaign ran out of food and they're asking fine Camp the vine camper will like nah we're not going to give you any food and there's like a big argument about it at the arena and you know standing there with his fingers in just like that and it goes it appears that food is once again an issue on the island
56:14 Turns out people like you know living and stuff and prefer not to die of starvation yeah so yeah as soon as getting a season two I hope I hope it does because although Rachel said Rumor Has It ratings went high enough for a second season and then volt actually has come in and said no apparently people are already being cast for it but it's not public yet thanks a lot I wonder if he got that from one of them yeah I hope I mean like I said before it didn't like go through the roof at any point but it was consistent it had it started with 460 000 it ended up like the whole season like it was around that 420 430 000 people so it's not horrible like for example I don't know if people are aware of this but the challenge Australia the finale episode had 11 000 viewers bro eleven thousand for a major television show so that's what we're talking about it's disastrous I don't think it's been a flop I think it's been the fact that it's held its numbers is a good sign
57:35 Yeah no here you go The Vault was asking when I was asking where do you stop he said he'd stop at about 150 if you have the 400. about a quarter of the way maybe two a third of the way interesting yeah M3 grants is back and said at least open 20 boxes 200 you got 400 you got 50 of the way wow that's bully that's very ballsy umson's big adventure they're not giving out a million dollars to a winner again yeah they're never gonna give a million dollars out then they've the game is obviously built in a way that we know that a million dollars will never ever go like even if one of them was crazy enough to just go for it on a crazy streak and open you know 20 like Brett had 31 boxes if he opened 30 out of 31 and only had the bomb left and was a perfect like go of it there's no way you would get all three people going like Kamikaze like that as well there's an automatic built in with that bomb looming over there I think it plays into human psychology that you know that no one like not everyone is going to go for it like Brett went for and won't
58:55 Stop until he's satisfied it would be pretty funny if all of them did though yeah can you imagine that all of them actually did it's so funny and just like it just cuts to the to the producers like behind the camera just being like you know oh that'd be pretty funny oh Rachel said she would have kept going up to 27 because that's what the mortgage is oh she would have been happy with 10K so you might as well risk it for the biscuit make it worth it because you would have been happy walking away with 10K anyway Eric says to me if it was real to me if real life this is going back to Jack and Jordan do you give good when the other campus starving yes I think you're here for this I think that's just me and Chris so yeah this is the no I'm not giving the yeah I don't know because I like I've said before I kind of feel like what Rachel says here I would never physically risk People's Health if I had the chance People's Health is actually becoming worrying it
1:00:15 Was very much real life M3 grants a little bit more hard you're hungry there's the ocean and for me I think I said this last week Mucky for me my head would say game my head would say like no I'm strategy I'm all about the matter of doing what is right for the game but I also know like if I was faced with a person in front of me talking to me and asking for food I would probably crumble I'm just I like as much as I'd like to act hard Mucky that's my Persona I'm a big soft yeah I think I would help out just because I'd feel so if like how do you even say notice on his face like that I don't know if I can do it you know you know what I mean like behind my camera on the safety of my screen I'd say yeah for sure it's a game like I would never give book the other team but I don't know if I could do it with someone begging I know it's not literally life and death in that they should and could quit at any point if they're not you know able to but that's my stance what was yours again I forgot what my stance was but maybe it was like No just don't give them
1:01:35 Food but I do think if I was in that situation and just like you if someone was coming to my face like if something had actually happened to me then like let's say something like got like really hurt you know from trying to find food or they said someone actually did you know potentially passed away from it I would feel completely sure like from that knowing that I could have potentially yeah changed that you know so yeah just with that in mind like I would but definitely the cunning strategic weasel Mucky would not get food the heart woman Michael would so yeah oh M3 so yeah we were saying like I don't know if I would say Rachel said she would never physically risk people live M3 Grant said you're hungry there's the ocean so I understand but they weren't actually at wrist right because they could quit that's the whole thing yeah that's what I said at one point and Rachel said we were fishing we can't drink seawater I mean there's a world is away isn't that even the old saying like water everywhere let's all take a drink when you're in the middle of the ocean like that's yeah sorry
1:02:56 It said I'm sure the starvation was hard as heck as someone that loves my food I know I would have definitely been hungry the whole time yeah that's the other thing as well Sarah we can say whatever we want when we're sitting on at home you know but being out there is completely different story so and Rachel said confirms you need a lot of fish to feed 28 people yeah that's right and Danica said I thought they said they were they didn't have a lot of fishing or other edible sea life out there Rachel confirms oh my gosh I got seven about nine centers each Sunday is just one they didn't go very far there wasn't much small Bait fish some of the sea dicks and the snails yeah so I mean interesting the overall I definitely want to season two I like having a show in our rotation that's not Survivor that is something different and I hope that it grows and see what it becomes what would you like to see change in the show and the chat as well what do you want to see in season two that would make it a better product well like yeah this might come to a shock to a lot of people worship probably not because Ever Knows I say that my opinions are very different to other general public is but
1:04:16 In Survivor I love non-elimination episodes right and I think with million dollar Island that's definitely could have used a couple like non-elimination episodes here and there just for us to know the cast a bit more I just show like just one hour split between the three to four camps just showing what like life was like some of the conversation some of the other strategy that's going on behind the scenes because I've because obviously we've challenged a few of the contestants and they've shared some of the strategy that's going on behind the scenes that didn't quite make it to the screens so I think just having an extra hour of just getting to know the contestants who like may not be going into the challenge it would yeah I guess it'd be quite good knowing that like just more people kind of as a show goes on because it means the people who quit or the people who do get put into the challenge it's like ah I don't want that person to get illuminated you know whereas there's always episode episodes just kind of like oh okay that gets screen time they're going to the challenge they might give them and they did but yeah you know like shows like that are very long serial shows they have what they call the monster of the week or the bad guy of the week yeah like
1:05:37 It's the episode like obviously like a season of say for example like law of Law and Order there might be ongoing plots throughout a whole season but usually it's the one episode contained He's the bad guy this week we caught him we finalized it's done and then there's another bad guy next week or like when on like Buffy or something like that there would always be the bad guy this week the monster this week the thing that got Unleashed this week but there's an oh overall plot for the season and they kind of do that a little bit like there's ongoing spots throughout the entire season like we kept in touch with Brett we kept in touch with Carla as we got introduced to it Chelsea and Jordan they stayed really in our Limelight throughout the whole thing but then you did have the episode of the week or the people of the week that ah this is the episode and it's self-contained so it kind of has that format where there is a little bit of peppering where we get to see the people that will count towards the end but then the individual episode also has their stand-alone people that you need to sort of look at and worry about you know what I mean so interesting yeah some suggestions for season two what we would like to do change Jonathan said one wheel spin a week of TV
1:06:57 We'll spin an arena one episode and survival elimination the next episode okay so if they're doing two episodes a week we get an episode which is the wheel spinning Arena Challenge and then episode which is a survival and getting rid of them and what that would mean is without cramming all of that into one episode we maybe get other bits of Camp life things behind the scenes some of the alliances that were made some of the relationships of when we actually do get to see the elimination of people leaving and giving their bracelet to someone maybe we have some shown insight as to why they gave their bracelet as opposed to them just saying I gave them their bracelet because we were the closest and we have no idea who either of them are maybe if they did it they didn't rush or cry try to cram in challenge heavy as much you could get a little bit more Camp life what do you think is that right Jonathan yeah actually he says live feeds oh my gosh live feeds on an island right I think there's I think there's two people that would watch that Jonathan you and then a lot less than you but maybe the
1:08:17 Next person in line me laughs there's no one with the obsessive brain Jonathan that needs to have the 100 live feeds like you just to track every single thing that happens for sure that'd be great what else do you think what would you change in this season what did they do you like about the show oh I like that there's something really fresh really brand new I loved how like the survival challenges were probably like the favorite part of the show for me because it was something that was like really about survival for the most sense like how to make a good spear shout her how to keep a fire going all night without even using like you had your Flint for the first hour and then I got taken away from you so I loved the survival challenges I probably did this part like I said I don't think they telegraphed it as much but like I said when you when you view it from a now that we've got a season completed and you can look at it with a little bit more of a wider angle view it does make a lot of sense and I do love as I said that what we see as far as the comp the physical the relationship and the luck it's all there it's all interwoven it stayed pretty consistent to itself
1:09:38 I wish it was a little bit more clear when there are some weeks they go you can be saved this week this week you can't you just go on automatically you're done that inconsistency makes it hard to blot out at least in our head viewers like the shock factor it's almost like everyone's complaining about the most recent seasons of Survivor us and almost because there's too many twists there's too much luck factor involved and it takes away the playing Factor we've already got luck being a factor when it comes to the wheel and then at the end the way the end game played out luck played a huge factor I would take less of the luck Factor as to whether you can potentially be saved one episode to the next just because I got put in this one I get saved it's just because I get put in this one there's no chance of being saved that sort of inconsistency I think yeah I would say that's the case for me Vault gave a suggestion more condoms needed actually a reason why the live thing is might be a good idea is because they'd have to be rated r18 if you're watching the Box yeah they got it they can't do that no with vaulty out there the cameras would be the whole thing would just be sensor a sensor block the entire life
1:10:58 Yeah off the back is it off the back of the more condoms question with Jonathan asking I want to know who Kia is ah yeah who was Kia there in three great okay I think is one of the reported five The Vault oh okay [Laughter] great said you can do almost anything with million dollar Island it can be one thing one season and another thing the next season it really didn't seem to have a real set of rules like Survivor well Survivor didn't the first season either right it kind of developed its rules over time and I think that's what we're going to start seeing which is a fascinating process to be in from the start you know what I mean yeah one dollar Island show yeah well maybe not with you there not there next season it might be a little bit less if they cast no vaults next season then maybe they won't run out of condoms in the first week mate or maybe racial experience but then you threw a sphere through your one Rachel [Laughter] so
1:12:21 As far as what I would add to it or change to it I think you're right about the person side the people side wanting it getting to know a little bit more about the people that got to the end like when you think about it though the people in the even in the final seven we were pretty familiar with a lot you know what I mean like we've got like it really ramps up as the season went on you didn't necessarily need to know them in the first couple of weeks but anyone that sort of got too far in the end we were very familiar with and one of the big things that people had a problem with this show was the quit winning and I kind of said early on it definitely means it's interesting built into the formula is the recipe how this will work in order to get through 100 people you need the almost guarantee it before me a lot of Clips but the fascinating thing is according to my man Jonathan's website we didn't have number 23.
1:13:33 The 22 in the notice in the last 20 people [Music] and then before that 28 the 28th person and the 22nd person so almost like a season of Survivor when you have 18 to 24 people that final group of people from 22 onwards was aware where towards the end we're playing now with it's not going to be any of winners so it ended up being like even though it's lots of quitters at the end the final numbers was kind of what most of these shows have as a as a final number to play in entire season with we just got it in the last two weeks you know what I mean yeah absolutely but maybe the next season won't have 100 people maybe they'll realize actually hundreds but too much because I could probably just smaller because I think maybe they'll realize that because since it's like the first showing of it maybe they're expecting some quotes as well to give to 100 people but I feel like now people would actually know what they're signing up for there'll be a lot of this quit so yeah it quits the interesting because I feel like
1:14:53 I feel like the hundred is a pretty big part of it like it even just for like the initial shots the Drone shots the numbers I think the 100 plays apart and also it adds to that feeling of how we've said a lot of the challenges were very similar to Survivor but amped up it's Survivor and steroids it's the same sort of feel but bigger yeah like I thought that was I thought I don't think they'd get rid of the hundred it just gives such a good visual thing and when you hear it because so many people are used to Survivor right and then you go it's like Survivor but with a hundred people that's the elevator picture if you'll go whoa like then you get into the nitty-gritty of oh yeah maybe 100 people doesn't work as well on TV because you know how do you get an edit for 100 people how do you yeah how do you care about 100 people and that all matters but I do think that the hook of a hundred people is a very big part of its identity it's like it's like if you had something as well known as the bird about tweeting and then you change it to X that would be a stupid move and lose all the brand recognition that would be ridiculous so maybe like I think the hundred people matters to just The Branding of the show that's one of
1:16:13 The things that sets it apart you know what I mean Jonathan with a call for more people of color would be good I mean I 100 agree with that although I think there was they did have we've seen worse as far as representation goes but yeah more people would be great but we I mean there were people out there they just maybe didn't shine in the same way I guess John had dislocated nearly for a week or so don't blame him yeah okay ah interesting fact from Vault produces a medical predictive 40 would quit by week one so if they're playing into that and they want it to be that much that means that the standards that we've sort of criticized about the food and the lack of medical care and potentially maybe taking that a little bit too far was very much intentional knowing and predicting that 40 people would quit in the first week is a massive number yeah you know what I mean yeah definitely like it just it just makes you think that like if they're predicting their amount of people to quit that's like a good chunk of the cast you know there's over a third of the whole College one
1:17:33 So I think if they did have a season of 100 people who knew what they're getting themselves into maybe it won't be as many quits in week one here you go yeah Jonathan confirm only two quits in the top 50. so there you go because Joy was actually medically evacuated not a quit yeah and John right the guy who did it yeah that's right yeah evacuation so two quits in the top 50. it was such a big deal early on people are quitting I hate the quitters you know again it was just one of those things that we're not used to it in other shows of what we've been fed and fed and forced down our throat like Pate from reality TV shows over the years that's we don't like it because that's what we've been told not to like about those shows but when you have a show it's like no we're designing a show specifically making you want to quit like almost like that squid game element that you said that change of squid game there like you it is a risk to keep going do you make that choice for the money or do you take like leave kind of thing so yeah like interesting show fascinating product I am excited for a season two and I do hope that other countries
1:18:54 Get it as well I know it was in the Netherlands I know the US had a version set to go and it kind of got shut down last year and then eventually canceled after the shutdown so they never had it but it was all said it was ready to go it was filmed like I think it was about to be filmed but yeah so I hope you know we have another someone asked earlier because before Danica B asked so what other shows are we doing next monkey what's Mucky like do we have other shows that you want to look at well there's one show I'd like I'd definitely love to look at but I'm not sure if there's been confirmed if we're doing that or not though is it which one to say We'll edit it out no we won't but reality is a good game oh really yeah I think that I think that it's definitely like we're always open for suggestions as well reality is great game is something that will be coming up on Netflix we're very interested in potentially looking at USA or to Challenge USA we're actually doing tomorrow morning me and Chris are going to be on the discuss Challenge USA season two any season of Survivor coming up any season the challenge
1:20:14 Coming up I think we're going to be doing the Traders Australia and potentially other ones Survivor UK will be starting I'm sure there'll be courage I don't know who if it's going to be me I don't know it's going to be Mucky but if there's reality shows happening and it's good TNT is probably going to do something around it as well I think yeah but so the next show that Matthew Kahuna will be done is the reality TV Winnie the Pooh Blood and Honey that's you know very coincidentally very coincidentally this is not on purposes at all but one of my child's Toys is just sitting over here very casually it's a bit in the corner of my eye the whole podcast Danny could be able to challenge you to say be regular Friday thing I don't know to be honest with you I'm not sure when the regular slot will be but we'll be doing it covering it regularly obviously of course Big Brother 25 has not been a show that we've covered before potentially would be it's not something that I'm actually been across Big Brother us at all but yeah potentially we'll see we want to send a big thank you to Chris obviously for being
1:21:34 The Pod father I want to say thank you to you Mucky for joining me on an adventure this whole season feeling when I wasn't there making me laugh and putting up with my Antics and lack of professionalism as a whole thanks Rocky no I just want to say thanks to you know like I know I've said this off air but I'll say on air these podcasts that we've been doing is the most fun I've had of our podcasting and like you always crack me up you know with your jokes and prefer I'm professionalism how you talk for two hours about three episodes we talk for two hours about two episodes and we almost offered two hours about one episode I can honestly keep going but I'm looking at the counter that's going higher and higher and then I am aware we covered everything on it I think it was a great season a great finale I'm glad that it kind of spread the love out that it's not one of those Cut Throat shows at the end the luck factor I wish Brett could have gotten was heartbroken for him happy for Chelsea happy for Jordy one thing that I'm really happy about this entire show has been the chat the entire way through the season yeah not only having so many people that are fans of the show but having the actual Islanders out here really changed it for us like every episode we finish up monkey and we just go man it's so good having them in there again Vault enjoy joy we
1:22:54 We had Jonathan being almost like a third member of the podcast with the amount of information he's provided to us Danny can be all the way in the states and we've just been joined by so many people on a regular basis and I've shout out to all of you I for one have not only appreciated the insights and calling us on some of the stuff we get wrong but you really made it as much as I as much as I love talking with Mucky they have added so much more to the conversation and really made this season of a new show which we didn't know what it was going to be like we didn't know how good it was going to be how it was going to be we had no idea but I think the show in and of itself is a good thing but what really made this season and this podcast with imaki is doing with you but doing with all the Chatters as well everyone that made it so much fun thank you genuinely I'm looking at my chat I'm looking at the actual chat window while I say it like they can see me at all but it's so but yeah big thank you to everyone in chat yeah thanks so much everyone especially match shout out to the vote for always making us laugh as well yes well done guys we can work out you know and to all the players and all the fans thank you so much for bantering with us for giving us great insights and
1:24:14 For always being there every single week we love you guys we appreciate you all yeah thank you Rachel for putting on such a great season a great show for us Vault you're a freaking Legend man I love watching you and having you in the chat and I'm sure we're gonna keep it up but yeah tomorrow morning Sydney time I am doing a podcast with Chris on the up the upcoming season of The Challenge with a focus on Survivor so if you've not yet please make sure you subscribe to the channel I did that thing at the bottom so subscribe now so do that because it says it there so thank you everyone it says right there okay and we are trying to get we're getting close to 2 000 subscribers I know Chris is super stoked for that and we're kind of building towards it again thank you so much to everyone I really do appreciate it I had such a fun time we're not done we're going to be doing a lot more shows and potentially maybe we haven't really finalized anything but we might do some more end of season breakdown stuff because there's probably some people that would love to have a chat and talk more about million dollar Island Australia even with it in the review mirror a little bit so thank you everyone Mucky have an awesome night you want to say the catchphrase for the last time potentially
