0:00 Foreign [Music] [Music] [Music] foreign [Music] [Music] hello everyone welcome to the nullify Tech Channel where we've got the TNT tags for you on Australian Survivor Heroes versus Villains that's right it's bonus content time everybody I thought about it this week you know a lot of people have been asking me to do a power ranking to give my thoughts in regards to the tier ranking I've been getting comments on some of those all the videos that I did so I thought why not do a live why not get some people in on

1:20 It and get your opinions and takes as well now obviously doing this live is quite new for me because normally I have Mucky or I have a Kahuna or any of the other people that I normally do these types of things with but I think this is going to be a little bit more intimate it's going to be just talking to you guys directly and giving you my thoughts I can see we've got a few people here in the live already rcrc welcome Christina good morning for you as well and Paul saying that it's evening over where he's at and Gabe welcome always good to have you in the live as well and harukawa trash welcome as well welcome back so yeah I'm gonna go into some of their tier rankings with everybody tonight it's evening on my side if you couldn't tell on the back you could probably see it's quite dark so I'm gonna go into the power rankings I'm going to go into the tier rankings I'm not too sure how many of you have actually seen some of that content that I did earlier in the season but I'll definitely bring it up and we'll talk through it so oh Charlotte that's a blast from a past I haven't seen you on the lives for quite a long time welcome back really I always loved seeing people come back to these lives so let me have a quick look and put up here the tier rankings for those that can remember so the tier rankings that

2:40 I did pre the season started will be previous season starting we had lower tier mid-tier top tier and legends coming back based on my opinion of them and their gameplay so what I'm going to be doing is I'm going to look at it now that the game has sort of halfway through and I'm gonna do a tier ranking here as well Gabe I see you buddy so Mucky is crying that Stevie's gone yes I have had to do a lot of counseling with Mucky this week he's been on my phone non-stop it doesn't matter if I tell him listen I don't need you to be calling me out before we talk about this in the live recap and review I want to know your thoughts before then because otherwise I have to fake being surprised but he has been struggling this week so I've been that older brother and I've been that shoulder for him to cry on this week but you're right Gabe it has not been an easy week for him but maybe there's some silver lining to this bad week that Stevie's had because you know we're going to be doing the review of the tier rankings and let's see if we can move Stevie away from where he's currently at because I had him as a lower tier attorney when he came back Charlotte I'll let him know I'll let him know okay Paul

4:01 Same so still the same like I wasn't ready for Stevie to be gone when he left I really thought that Stevie was gonna make the merge this time so it was sad to see him go harakawa is saying was really hoping for Stevie when the season even though I knew it had never happened I don't listen well I think Stevie plays this game a thousand times he doesn't win once I Love Stevie as a character don't get me wrong I just don't think he's got the game to win Tom I think monkey knows that he knows you guys have got a bromance going on you're kind of like the Sam and David you know from this season you guys have got that Bromance going on he knows Christina yet loves Stevie as well all right let's have a look at the tears here so when I started doing the tears in the beginning of the season I had Jackie at the bottom I felt like she was one of those players that had everything to prove coming into the season and I've got to admit you know I was really gutted to see her leave due to an injury and we spoke about that earlier in the season you know production for Australian Survivor they've been doing a lot of things right but when it comes to players safety and when it comes to those challenges I feel like there's more that needs to be done because we've had so many injuries from Australian Survivor

5:21 In recent times and we don't want to see that you know we don't want to see you know we had Ross who was a great character that season they'll probably never come back and play this show again because of the injury because of some of the legal stuff that is going on outside of the show and then we had last season Nina when she was having a great season she was in a great position she ended up getting injured and we don't want to see players go out that way so I was really you know annoyed to see another player go down that way we nearly lost George nearly broke his neck in that I mean how boring would this season have been without George if we lost him due to a challenge in the beginning of the season so they really need to look at that but sadly I don't think I can move Jackie from the bottom of this tier list where she's currently sitting at I do think she stays there but I do hope that she comes back and plays again what do you guys think Simon and Nina made the merge this time happy for them 100 percent that's being said well yeah Tom you'd still be in the game if you're same Christina I feel like Nina Sam Sean are in trouble we'll be talking about that power inking very soon Gabe being medically evacuated sucks yep 100 now Stevie I had Stevie as a lower tier player as well I

6:41 Think that's Stevie this season has come back and was a big character I knew he could be a big character I had a lot of fun with him sadly had a lot of plans and none of it worked out and he was always at the mercy of either Simon and jordy's game and that Alliance all at the mercy of George's game and then obviously he got voted off without necessarily being a big threat in this game but I do think you know and maybe Stevie has won me over a little bit because I do think he improved on his previous game I do think that he showed some promise so I probably would move Stevie up to the bottom of mid-tier based on the entertainment value that he gave me this season I really enjoyed it and maybe Mucky is rubbing off on me a little bit but I feel pretty confident we can move him up and I think that there won't be too many complaints here from any of the audience and the listeners in regards to Stevie moving up next we're going to talk about Simon I'm going to run through the this specifically the Legacy things pretty quickly because after that we'll do the Power Rankings Simon to me and Nina because I'm going to talk about both of them at the same time at this stage in the game they were both seen as material players by me when I did this ranking but I think I'm gonna get a lot of flack for this one from people I think Simon has actually

8:01 Leapfrock Nina right now for me and mittier hold on everyone I know I'm getting a lot of hate coming my way for this because Nina is loved online and obviously she comes with a great legacy so people would like to have Nina be Untouchable but if you look at Nina's game this season there hasn't been and again it's maybe not her game it's maybe the editors but I can only judge on what I see a game hasn't shown much for me she's definitely gotten alliances she's been in alliances she's probably a better player than Simon but when you look at it from an entertainment standpoint this being an entertainment you know a show that you want to get behind and that you want to have longevity where people tune in week in and week out I do think Simon has delivered every single episode this season in fact I think Simon could still go and prove people wrong and sneak his way into like a top six top seven type of situation and we may even start talking about him potentially being closer to top tier just based on the fact that he is a character I love the characters first you know I love Nina but I don't think that Nina has delivered this season for me yet I think last season she had a better season but she ended up getting Medevac which is a shame let's have a look at some of the comments here also happening Happy that Simon's still

9:21 Here Stevie was fun character you can't deny 100 percent now I reckon Stevie's a legend just for the challenge win Christina no hate here not Nina's fault she was on the she was the boring Heroes tribe yeah she didn't try something but was the truth and it's interesting Gabe you mentioned that she was on the boring tribe because there was a hidden scene between Haley and George where they talked about working together if the king and the queen comes together they can run this game and in that hidden scene I don't know how many people have seen it yet and Hayley actually says that she was bored out of her mind being in that Heroes tribe because I feel like the strategy just wasn't there and even Haley's game I've been critical of the game this season not because she's not capable in fact she's doing the best that she can with everybody targeting her right but it was interesting to hear comments that it was a boring tribe because obviously that means that Nina probably didn't have much runway to play either yeah I Paul I hear you on that point I don't know how long Nina's Gonna Last Marcus completely agree Simon is entertaining this season and the season wouldn't have been the same without Simon George robbery now Frenemies exactly I think I think we talk about the George Simon rivalry for a very long time in the future it's going to be memorable for many seasons to come in fact I had a conversation with Simon just in DM

10:42 And Simon was like I hope at least I'm memorable in some way this season and I said to him I think you are mate I think people you know for good or bad people are going to remember you and it's good I would if I was to play Survivor I would much rather be remembered than forgotten so I think that is good love Nina but she's a potato or is it a potato LOL only time will tell the fact Simon is still even in this game impressive even if that was the shaky game that got him there plus he had a huge edit from Cade agreed that hidden scene was good really wish they didn't cut it out arakawa you've got to ask yourself why did they cut that scene out I feel like they would have shown it if Haley and George was going to work deep in the game I feel like that's gonna be someone's gonna snipe either one of them velvet Nina just seemed like a reserved person so even if her gameplay was amazing she doesn't seem to really make good TV resulting in less screen time unless she is needed for the story like in her first season she was there with Sandra right so obviously she was going to be a big part of the story because Sandra was there Christina I think Simon will be dragged as a goat like Owen in 43 I can see that Simon is an Australian Survivor own so there's a few people that are seeing it that way okay moving on to Jordy I actually got a bit of flack from people

12:02 When I did this tier ranking when I put Jordy in top tier a few people said he should have been mid-tier and I'm kind of conflicted because I almost feel like he played in some ways a better game this season because he was trying to play Within himself he was trying to be a unifier and then he got swap screwed to a certain degree but then obviously with the way he played he ended up overplaying his hand he wanted to be the showman the guy that does the moves for TV which is what George does but he doesn't have the same skill set so I am kind of between the two top tier with him I still think he's in a pretty solid spot there let me know in the chat where you guys would put him would you put Jordy just in the top tier or do you guys reckon he should be met here after this season now as a person I really like Jordy I think he's a top bloke where does he rank as a player that's what I want to know Christina is saying that the joke is hard wasn't truly in it yeah listen I think he came back too soon I've spoken to players I've interviewed Survivor players on this channel and they have told me that it can take up to a year for them to just decompress and not think about the game I think he came back too soon I think he had a lot of things going on at home and that made it really hard on him playing this game we'll sing top tier Tom saying mid

13:23 Cades murdered Judy what's the voice of reason so at the moment we've got two mid one top so at this stage it's looking like he's mid unless somebody else is going to go in and tie it up a top within the next couple of seconds because I'm going to move on to Sean but I'll keep an eye on the chat now Sean coming into the season I was bullish and putting him as a top tier player even though he went early in a season I saw potential in him as a player and I thought if he was to come back this season get the numbers learn from his mistakes he went up against two pound-for-pound legends of the game in Luke Toki and David gennard and obviously didn't survive that they played him that season but I was impressed by Sean this season I think of Sean's Alliance got the numbers which is what he tried to play he tried to play The Mark Wales game he tried to play Let's get the numbers let's make it a boring and predictable game and if there wasn't someone like George with that capability in the season I think Sean could very well be the winner of the season so I find it very difficult at this stage not to put Sean right at the top of top tier I think he's increased and I think he's definitely leapfrogged the two people I've got ahead of him that I will be talking to next so let's have a look and see what people say here Jordy was the voice of reasoning absolutely okay I've seen that one Kahuna welcome to the

14:43 Live Kahuna will be back tomorrow night when we do a full recap and review of the week and he said liking him gives a few more points but based on performance he's mid so there's another mid odetta's top tier his game plan was good before George went on top of him mid I'm seeing more mid so I feel like my instinct to put him admit but top of mid is probably correct so I'm gonna I'm gonna put him there harukawa say Jordy is the top for me now since this game is improved it's funny how I almost think his game is improved this season but I find that I'm leaning towards mid and there's a few people that are telling me mid at this point potato welcome what is a potato supremacist that is a great name Gabe Sean coming in was a lot of people's Winnipeg I didn't know that but I'm not surprised especially after seeing David ganut win recently seeing Mark win last season the meta of Australian survivors slowly but surely changing and Alpha men are starting to win the show which previously for a long period of time you know I think Jericho was like the only winner and he wasn't necessarily like an alpha male and it was pretty much woman dominated Australian Survivor until pretty recently I'd put Jordy above Sean for sure shown us every because of the edit his decision making

16:03 Was horrible I think one thing I would criticize Sean on I don't agree with you Odette but I mean that's the great thing about this right is that fans not everybody's going to see it the same way and I'm sure when I do the Power Rankings people are going to disagree with me even more one thing I will definitely criticize Sean honest I think he hasn't played the relationship with Simon correctly like Simon just wants to be acknowledged by Sean and he's not giving him that acknowledgment and would have been so easy for Sean to do it I mean giving someone acknowledgment out on the island to win the game should be easy to do it should be like you know natural for you to just do that Stevie did it Stevie did it with George I don't think Stevie thought George was all that I think he was jealous of George this certain degree and wanted to vote him out but he was like you're the best player ever I love you George everything you do turns to Gold you know how difficult is it to do that modern biking says he only eats potatoes Tom McPherson says if Flix stays top tier by the end of this we're going to need to beat Stevie as a legend to make up for it for Jordy from my side Sean is not highlighted did you see the sneak peek for next week that shows Sean telling Nina Sam and Simon he has an idol and wants to take George do you think Simon and Haley might jump on board to vote George interesting well I think if

17:23 He brings up the fact that he's got an idol this is going to be the opportunity for Simon and Haley to make a move if he lets them know but it's a risky Gameplay at this stage I feel like Sean I don't think he's winning this season but I feel like he's got one big move in him and if he plays his Idol correctly he could take out a George or a Shawnee like one of the top tier players in this game so I think there's something that's going to happen he kept highly safe even though everyone should have known they'd hook up at the merge yep apparently Haley was trash talking George the whole time pre-merge but people should have known these two did a TV show together they did talking tribal together like how did people think that George and Haley did a show together spend so much time together I mean they were on each other's Instagram feed all the time how did they not know that how did they not think hmm maybe a real life relationship and a friendship outside of the game is going to Trump whatever happens in the game Sean screwed up treating someone like nothing instead of comforting him I'll be cheering I'm not a fan of George Sean to tell them I saw it in the clip all right so I'm going to move on I do still think Sean is top tier for me and he is top of the top tier now Sam

18:43 When we do the Power Rankings I think he's in a bad spot and we'll talk about that pretty soon but I think Sam for me I came into the season and I thought listen the guy made it pretty deep the first time he was pretty good socially he was you know obviously mateship and all that stuff that annoys a lot of people that watch Survivor but I've actually still been impressed by saying this season because there was a few times that people were gunning for him and he did read the room he did realize that people were coming for him you know he did try and flip it flip the script and by putting a bit of pressure on Tribal Council you had Sean coming up with a different plan not to vote Sam out so I kind of feel like Sam at this stage does still deserve to be in top tier I don't think that Sam necessarily deserves to be above flick but salmon flicker in some ways almost the same I just think flicker's got a bitter social game and I know some people said that I should put flick down from Top tier and we have to put Stevie had a legend here to make up for it I still think flick is a very good Survivor player yes she got caught with her hands you know in the cookie jar this week but his social game to save herself when George was coming after her remember Georgia is like one of the best and most persuasive players we've ever seen in any

20:04 Version of Survivor now if he had his mindset or anybody else to vote them out I don't think that they saved themself in that situation but I think due to the fact that she saved herself I would still put her as a top tier player she's not legendary and I don't think she's the best strategist out there but I think a social game definitely puts her up pretty high George bad yep just really want Sam to get out of the major mentality I get you listen I get you but I do still think somewhere inside of sand is a decent player I don't think he's mittier I think he's bottom of the top tier for me here if George leaves the show will become very boring I agree like who's gonna be I mean if George and Simon leaps that'd be very boring George is going to give Sean the flick offer put the idol in the fire sure no you're a dead duck that was one of the funniest moments of Survivor by the way and I know some people said she should have done it I think it's results focused and people focused on the fact that she didn't have a legitimate Idol me personally I don't think I would have thrown it in the fire I don't think I would have had the guts to I would have been like no I'm keeping this maybe you Bluff it hope you've got it for another round or something

21:25 All right yeah I heard Haley's bad mouth George but here's but it's such an obvious lie us fans know that there are BFFs outside of the game yep they should have known better damn I love George Chris likes Sam a lot I'll say sam at least realized he's on the bottom and didn't just do mate chip still yep I mean I like the fact that Sam woke up a little bit and he was like I'm gonna flip the script I'm gonna vote out Haley Sean's been protecting her for too long he wanted to make a move with David and Nina and I in some ways I'm actually kind of sad we're not going to see Sam betray people this season because I feel like he would have but he's got no agency in the game he's got no numbers now I feel like it's a great social game but next to no strategic mind to back it up should have known turning on Liz and Shawnee immediately would blow up in a face no matter what and harukawa saying if George and Simon both leave it'll just be shantine Central which I'm all in for yeah she would have to carry the show and she could she definitely could all right so now looking at these Legends currently I feel very good about each one of them and I feel very good about each one of them exactly where they are Shawnee has been great she saved George a couple of times this season but I don't think that without George she would have been as effective in some ways because he's the tool the brand

22:45 Tool that just gets it done like he's like a freak of nature a force of nature that just bulldozes his way through this game and he definitely strategically I think is carrying that Alliance massively but Shawnee has definitely been a big part of that game she's twice let him know when people were coming for him and she's twice saved him she's twice to help them to forget our when his reads been off and I do think as a package they're working very well together but for me Haley at this stage you can't move her away from being top of the legend tier she's already won a season she is playing with house money this season so that top three I will just keep it the same at this stage let's have a look and see what people are saying well Sam's first season in with his numbers flipping on his head Sandy P had just joined Samus top deer yeah to me certainly I get it a lot of people are not happy with that I don't think he's a great player but I think he's got some great instincts that makes sense when people were coming for him at least they knew they were coming for them right and he was actively trying to change the script trying to get Nina and David and then also Liz in and making that move against Haley because Sean wouldn't budge so I don't feel like he's a horrible player I know some people would like me to just trash him but I'm

24:05 Not talking about the power rankers we'll talk about the power rankings next the fact that the Mt Alliance wasn't able to bring Haley and Simon on board speaks a lot about their gameplay 100 percent wool Sam's in trouble velvet year but George most likely would have been a pre-mudge boot without Shawnee so I think she could do better with Adam than the other way around she need he needed her in the game and he needed her to get that momentum in the beginning I do think Shawnee could do well with Adam in the game but I do think Shawnee was smart enough to realize she needed him in the game as that shield now has she taken him too far I don't think so I think she's probably taken him as far as he should be going at this stage because people are still going to go for Haley and George before they go for Shawnee I think so great gameplay by her and I mean by the end of this we might do another review she might topple both of them especially if she wins this season but I think do at the moment I think they're still above explain yourself Chris I think I did a good explanation in the beginning Sandy you might have to go back and listen to that first bit Tom McPherson I agree with Chris Sam at least makes it fun almost any season he plays in consistent player exactly I don't think he like if we had more players here and maybe we do a top tier ranking for all of the Australian Survivor players when it's off season I

29:26 Coming into this end game now has been targeted a few times already and how many times can you survive before the ax comes swinging his way there is a fear from George that Sam could potentially pull Simon back as well so I don't think he should be fearful of Sam I think he should be more fearful of Sean but for some other reason I see Sam as the next person out at this point in the game and sadly he's just run out of Runway and he's run out of numbers also seeing George make those faces in the last episode being super annoyed at Sam he tells me that George really doesn't like him and maybe he's also got that whole makeshift thing against Sam at this point and he was defending Maddie really hard after that vote against David because obviously Sam would have been Furious because that was his ride or die it was his right-hand person that got voted out so I think that Sam is at the bottom here what do you guys reckon Gemini which Australian Survivor and some African Survivor cast would you like to see on future challenge Seasons which Australian Survivor okay I'm assuming you're meaning which Castaways would I like to see on the challenge if it was Australian Survivor I would have said Brooke but she's already been on the challenge Australia so I'd like to see Luke Toki on the challenge I reckon yeah he won about four

30:46 Immunities in this second season so I think he'd be decent but he'd be a lot of fun I also would like to see Jordan from blood vs water on it I think he would be good it'd be good a good representation as well on the show you know I don't think we've ever had a Polynesian ethnicity on the main show challenge so if we're talking about main show Challenge and I think also another one man I forgot a name now that got into the finals there was a challenge Beast last season I'd love to see her on me as well and for South Africa it'd have to be chappies and Rob bintilli those are the two I'd like to see unfortunately I do have to agree with you boss I'm assuming it's about Sam I think final three prediction all right this one I agree are you daddy said that's not very loyal or mate should be of you hey just because I think it's a top tier player you'll get to the merch every time I think he's run out of Runway Sam looks like he's clear next vote Liz looking very good this season Lydia on the challenge yeah 100 Lydia would do good and Abby both of them would do good the thing is what really annoyed be about the challenge Australia and why I think it failed when it comes to the viewership is they didn't take legitimate stars from Survivor Australia and

32:06 Put them on the challenge Australia it just makes sense it's a reality TV competitive reality TV show and you chose to take all these love show people and put them on there and people just weren't interested what kind of show is the challenge I've never really looked into it the challenge is a competitive reality TV show so if you like Survivor I think you may like it as well so there's some previous Survivor players that have been playing in it recently we've had Natalie Anderson on it we've had Jay Starrett on it and we've had Michelle Fitzgerald on it and there's been yeah there's been a lot of shows that if you go down that deep dive believe me there's a lot of content for you to watch it's nearly 40 seasons in fact if you take all the off the offshoot Seasons it's way over 40 seasons George should be more scared of Sean but I guess I believe Sam would wiggle his way in while be easy target next time Shea that's the one Shay I'd love to see Shay's obese by the way if you check out her Instagram and if you check out her training routine I can see why she beasted her season she's an absolute Legend Hayley would also be great at the challenge I don't think Haley I don't know if Haley would want to do it's my it's my thinking with Haley might not yeah I feel like she's going to move on with her life now and I don't think
