00 Welcome back to the channel everyone we're talking about traitors USA season 3 you best believe I was excited to cover this season because I knew of some of the big names that were going to return to play traitors and I do know that the traitor USA franchise in my opinion they really turn it on firstly I'm a big fan of Ellen Cummings I think he's an amazing host I actually recently watched Traders UK I think it was season 3 was the latest one that just aired beforehand I can't remember which season it was but I watched it on the plane when I was flying back to South Africa and really loved that season as well so it kind of got me really anticipating this season and sort of wanting to get into doing some content on it and then obviously I knew of some of the players that were going to come into this season with Boston Rob Tony Caroline Jeremy all being Survivor players that you know me being a big Survivor fan really wanted to see how these different characters from the older eras and then one from the new era would interact together when they play a game such as traitors and then also I know a lot of people are 50/50 on Derek as a big brother player like some people love him some people don't like him I think Derek is in the discussion when it comes to best to ever do it on big brother he's only played Big Brother once but on that one showing that he did win he dominated it from the beginning to end and

20 Kind of created the strategy that Cody ended up taking sort of on board into the future season that he played in all stars and sort of helped him also become a winner through being mentored by someone like Derek is a really good game player but we've got a lot to talk about on this first couple of episodes and this is not a recap by the way I'm not going to go this is exactly what happened it's just going to be my general raw thoughts every week on what I saw took place on the episodes if you're more interested in a classic recap live maky who's also one of the co-hosts here on the nullify take channel has started his own channel I will put a link in the description below and also in the comment section so you can go check it out he did Cover episodes 1 2 and 3 in a full recap long format so if that is something that you're interested in please go show maky some love subscribe to his channel and support a small YouTuber who's just starting now firstly we need to talk about the way that Boston Rob came into this game everybody coming into the game together he's one of the Minions that have got the cloak on with the mark and nobody knows who he is he stays back and then the option is given by Allan to the players that they can allow for someone like Boston Rob to enter the game and when they Shake Allen's hand it would

40 Mean that they would automatically have to eliminate someone else in the game so the only person that we knew that was interested in doing this was Caroline saw Tony as a massive threat Tony is the goat of Survivor for those who don't know one or twice and she wanted to take him out early but she also knew that Boston Rob even though he hasn't won the game twice he wanted once himself s and then kind of dominated the season that his wife ended up winning she knew that Boston Rob is probably at that level of Tony and a lot of people would say the Boston Rob especially when it comes to playing other types of game shows is a bit more versatile than Tony we've never seen Tony play a game outside of Survivor but Boston Rob has been on other reality TV shows he's been on The Amazing Race where he did extremely well he did really well on Deal or No Deal Island last season and now he's seemingly doing extremely well in Traders but it's a big risk for someone like Boston Rob to enter the game and obviously the players ended up deciding that this is not the direction that they're going to go no one takes the deal no one shakes Alan's hand so that means that he's banished from the game or doesn't even get to enter it or so they thought because Allan had a Twist up his sleeve basically Alan basically at the end of that first episode talks to Rob says you're not out of the game luckily the players don't make the rules I do plus there's now a consequence with two other players that's going to into the game

00 And I will have to admit when I saw Derek Wes and Boston Rob as the three players that were going to come into this game I was fist pumping because I'm a massive West fan I think West is one of the most entertaining players that has ever played the challenge and you know weest saying that he's up there with Mount rushmor from their respective franchise is an accurate statement because like I said Derek is definitely one of the top four players to ever play Big Brother some people will argue he's the best I would like to see him come back and play again like we've seen Cody play twice and I know a lot of people are going to say how do you mention him but he results wise got to the end twice Dan's got into the end twice and then you've got Dr W that's in the conversation and then probably Derek and I will say cuz some people might said there's some recent players that have played that are better I don't really watch Big Brother anymore so I think the last season I watched was like the allstar season that Cody won and then I kind of tapped out so throw some names down there if you believe they are better players that we should be mentioning Danielle ryers by the way who's one of the Traders is definitely the best to never win in my opinion in big brother but it was exciting it was really exciting to see these three players that are going to enter the game and in my opinion even if they didn't end up even if they ended up choosing for Rob to enter the game I think West and Derek would have entered regardless what would have most likely have happened is that the player that was

20 Eliminated would have been given the same opportunity that Rob god so let's play hypotheticals here Caroline goes up shakes Allen's hand says Rob Tony you're out of the game because you're someone I can't trust you're too big of a threat I don't want to go up against you Tony then goes into Rob's spot goes into talk to Allan and probably becomes a traitor with the likes of Wes and Derek in the three cages and then re-enters the game I think that's how it would have played out I think that the format of the game was designed in a way there was always going to be 15 players in this game so let me know your thoughts and if you agree that is most likely what would have happened if Tony was eliminated or someone else was eliminated in that moment another thought I have is about the players in general I say this all the time when it comes to reality TV shows and when they bring back players for me personally in the first three episodes it's been really hard to find anyone outside of the main players that I've enjoyed seeing on their franchises that I'm rooting for so far in this game so any of the Des is it called Desperate Housewives any of the housewives I don't know them I know Housewives can be entertaining but I don't have a horse in the race when it comes to them there's no one that I'm like that's gravitating towards me obviously Bob we got a lot of content from Bob the drag queen as one of the Traders

40 Absolutely loving him don't know him before the Traders but you know he's bringing a certain level of chaos and drama to that traitor role that I'm really enjoying and we'll talk about that in AIT little bit more depth later on and then Dylan as the new kid who wants to learn the strategy who's being taken in by some of these big game players like Jeremy Boston Rob West and all these guys he seems like someone that could grow on me over time as well I think he comes from one of those dating shows but outside of that I can't really think of anybody outside of the people that I know from Big Brother and Survivor and then the challenge that I'm really shouting for this season so having so many good players come in to this show I think is showing us something when it comes to the Traders at the moment in my opinion they're doing everything right they are swinging for the fences when it comes to reality TV because they've brought back some of the best we've ever seen like I mean Sur Fields is widely regarded as the best Survivor player to never win you've had Sandra Diaz twine you've had parvy two of the Mount Rushmore best four players to ever play now you've got Boston Rob and Tony coming this season they clearly not afraid to just say we want the best we want to go and get the people with the biggest reputation and we want to bring them into the franchise so that we can get more viewership so we can get more s on the show and to

00 Me they're doing it right because this is why Traders has shown to grow I think season on season they are getting more and more viewers more and more people are talking about the show they're creating excitement and hype and this is great for other franchises as well this is great for Traders UK this is Traders Australia would still do another season I think that it kind of bolts over to these other franchises as well but they're doing it very differently to the other franchises where they're going after well-known entities they're going after people who they know proven to make good TV so they're actually getting reality TV royalty coming in to play the game and I'm excited I'm excited to see how the game is going to evolve now that you've got big game players coming into the season like Boston Rob like Derek like Jeremy like all these guys that have got so much experience and even Danielle Rays what is she going to do you know and let's talk about the trader selection because they end up choosing three traders to begin with at the round table it's Carol line the Wild Card like I mean I did not in a million years think that she was going to be a traitor coming into this season but it kind of makes sense when you look back into it in hindsight because she would have been so chaotic as a faithful probably would have gotten herself voted out but as a as a traitor she's going to be that thing that I think is going to she's going to be almost like an obstacle for them to work

21 With at times and I'm going to enjoy seeing the likes of Danielle who's very strategic Bob who's clearly a very strong personality and Rob navigate Caroline and sort of try and play with her in this game like it's an interesting fun Dynamic with these Traders and you see it right off the bat with her and Danielle just going head-to-head having such different opinions and ideas of how they want to play this game Danielle like I said her being a traiter so much fun I was so excited like she's said to us here in the confessionals and the opening bits is that she's never won a show that she's competed on and for those who did watch Big Brother back in the day I was the biggest fan Big Brother 3 I believe was the season she played in she absolutely dominated That season dominated it but it had a really flaky end and the way that they would get players voted out of the game they would go back home and they could watch the show and they then would come back to vote for who they wanted to win so they could see an edited version of the show they could see what Danielle was saying in the confessionals where she was crap talking a lot of them and they took it very personal and they didn't vote for the best person if they were in sequester like we see in newer Big Brothers where they don't see the audience reaction to a player playing the game or they don't see the confessionals they're not L into the mind and the secrets of what they are saying to the camera I think

41 Danielle could have won that season and she was robbed in season 3 she then went up against one of the bests and Dr wol Who definitely outplayed her in All Stars but I didn't watch the Britany or Britney and Danielle interaction the seasons I've watched they've never played together so I'm assuming it's reindeer games which is like a an offshoot show of Big Brother where they had the clash and where Britney did end up backstabbing her so that's obviously going to be a big part of this season you can already see the interactions between the two of them and that looks quite emotional but I really am enjoying Danielle but one of the things I enjoyed the most about Danielle is her thinking that she is putting on an a tier performance when it comes to acting every time they going to breakfast and she's putting on the Waterworks and she's being extra and then a lot of people clocking her of people knowing that something is not quite feeling right with Danielle so she is overplaying probably at the moment and I think that is something that Bob is doing as well Bob is also very extra seeing them put on the Water Works seeing them cry Bob and Danielle agressively trying to Target other people it's only going to be a matter of time where people are going to put two and two together and they're going to say well Danielle and Bob they're clearly the ones that are leading the charge and voting for all these faithfuls and they're all going home they're constantly getting it wrong at some point they're going to have to take a step

01 Back and play a bit of a more subtle game this is the perfect smoke and mirrors for someone like Boston Rob to step into when he comes into this game as a traitor you know Boston Rob knows how to play his Threat Level I think he's not going to overplay his hand he did a masterful thing here in voting Tony out early in the game even though you know it obviously got me in the heart seeing that play out because I'm such a big Tony fan and he can say like I honestly thought something was sus with Tony is not talking to me he's not playing game again Boston Rob's going to use those two people he's going to use them as a smoke screen I can see him kind of working with Caroline to a certain degree and for there to be some sort of a survival loyalty within that force him I haven't seen it yet with Boston Rob because he's willing to cut anyone and will cut anyone to the end of the game but I'm so intrigued to see how this season's going to play out with someone of his caliber stepping into the role of Trader another person that is living up to their reputation someone that I found exciting to watch in this first episode was Derek clocking onto the fact that Boston Rob is potentially a traitor or west is potentially a traitor I think that's very smart gamesmanship from Derek is someone that's always going to look at all angles but I'm fearful for Derek that he's probably going to see the same ENT his game like Tony I've always said Traders is one of those games where

21 If I had the opportunity to play it I don't know if I would say yes I probably would say no I mean you should always say yes to any opportunity right but I feel like it's such a lopsided game in favor of a traiter it's a lot easier to play the game when you actually have all the information but when you're a faithful it doesn't take much for people to suspect you or for you to do something wrong you're saying too little you're saying too much you coughed or looked away when something happened like it's just random sometimes where you can get taken out and sniped as a faithful and you're a Sitting Duck where the Traders are hunting you so for someone like Derek similar to Tony that's got a massive reputation in the game I just think that they're becoming they would become easy targets to potentially get out of the game but I also think that Derek is a smart enough player to know that if you want to stay in the game if you clock a Trader like he now knows or believes maybe Wes or Boston Rob to be one you want to have that person close to you in the game because if you're someone that the trader believes is not on to you and you're kind of doing their bidding and you're playing with them they'll probably take you deeper into the game and it's a good defense strategy against a Trader but if you call somebody out outright before there's enough other people who suspicious on it could be a very short ticket for you or short ride back home at the end of it so I think Derrik is smart enough to do that so I'm really excited about

41 The whole Prospect of seeing him play this game another person Wes I mean coming into the game he's again he's looking for those angles that he can work himself into and he found the Survivor angle obviously they've now lost a player in Tony but I still think that there is some real strength in that potential alliance with Jeremy Boston Rob Caroline and then also I think Derek will sort of fit into that and be a middle person to the Big Brother side but I can see the competitive reality TV side really ganging up against the bachelorettes the housewives and things like that which will make it a very entertaining show towards the end but you but you also want as a Trader to have some Lambs through the slaughter people who are not as in tune with the social strategic sort of game that is being played so it's going to be interesting to see where they pivot the Traders when they take people out okay lastly I wanted to touch on Tony leaving the game so early obviously Tony is the goat and he will always be the go to Survivor I don't care what people say I think he has proven himself there to go up against the best to ever do it and beat all of them out in my opinion Tony didn't do much wrong coming into this game and he was a victim of his own reputation and it was always going to be a case for Tony whenever he returned to any game where people were going to say he's the biggest Badd in the game he's the had won Survivor twice he's made $3 million

01 Through Survivor which is more prize money than most of those I think any of them have won I don't know the other shows and what their prize money is at the end if they get any but it's really up there so I think that his reputation of being such a big player is something that just stood out and like they said it makes sense that you're not going to waste Tony when you bring him in you're going to give him the ability to be a Trader I think I was a bit surprised when he didn't get the trader gig but it made sense when Rob was the other person who got it in the end you I think to have both Tony and Rob as Traders would have been interesting but it made sense you choose one of the big names and I mean Sandra didn't get to play Traer in her season either from the start of the game there so again seeing Tony go out here I don't think he did much wrong I just think his reputation caught up to him people were clocking him on that and then at the end they were going to take a stab and the whole interaction between Boston Rob and Tony I think Tony was really hurt by this whole thing you know saying you absolutely backstab Me In This Moment you're a sellout I think the only problem for me and Tony very quickly read the whole situation with him and Rob he's like well if you're starting to call me out you're kind of taking a shot at me here you're thinking I'm a traitor even though Rob said I'm not too sure yet you know he knew Rob was coming for him at that point I would have liked to for him to do more at that point to say why are you

22 Trying to create suspicion around me as the other big player I think you could just as easily be a traitor even if you came in late the game it would have been the per perfect Alibi so maybe Tony did leave some things on the table maybe his heart wasn't in it like it would have been if he played that first season and he was still trying to make a name for himself I'm not too sure or if there was a certain level of loyalty or respect between the two where he wasn't willing to be the one to step over the line but Rob didn't feel the same Rob felt like no it's a fair game I want to win this game and to me it makes complete sense that Rob did it because you get rid of someone that is very good at these types of games who can read people extremely well and may catch on to you and you know for Rob there must be an element of him in the back of his head thinking I used to be the goat I used to be the guy that everybody said was the best to ever play the game and now I've got a shot at the other person that people think is the goat of Survivor so an ego thing could easily have come in and it could have been a case of him just trying to take someone out to get one step further to me if I was R you almost won Tony in the game cuz people will always look at Tony before they look at him or potentially they've got an equal Threat Level in the game so taking out a big threat like Tony will definitely change the dynamic somewhat and I'm not too sure if I understand why he kept Bob in the game like he said he needed to protect the traiter in this

42 Round and I don't understand why is it because he's afraid of the unknown and who could potentially become a Trader if they had to recruit somebody I don't know because I thought that he looked at that group and he said they're very dysfunctional and Bob is a strong personality and it's going to be a case between him and Bob fighting for control for that Traders group for where they're going to go so it was not fully explained as to why he didn't want to take a shot to at another Trader this early in the game I'd like to know your thoughts what do you think do you think that Rob made the right decision taking Tony out so early in the game to me personally I feel like it's a show of respect Tony you're one of the baddest to ever play any real in a good way you're one of the best to ever play this reality TV sort of game shows in that is out there so let's take you out of the game early on and if they did keep him in it's almost like disrespect respectful like you know he could still run circles around you the last person I didn't get to talk about much and I know it's a lot of different people and observations that I had in this episode was Jeremy clocking both Bob and okay don't think he actually clocked Bob he clocked Danielle and I think if he knows that Bob went back to Danielle if that ever gets back to him he'll clock also that Bob could be a Traer as well Jeremy is a great player of Survivor and I think Jeremy is in a great position where people are not going to necessarily think he's a Trader and he's kind of playing that Middle Field pretty well

02 He could work with Rob to a certain degree Rob could keep him safe I don't think Rob will want to lose all of his Survivor numbers early in the game so everything is set up for this to be a great season of Traders even though we lost a good casting person here Antony so early on I think this season is going to be phenomenal I can't wait to get to know some of these new players a little bit better and obviously moving forward I believe it's one episode a week so it's going to be easier to cover here on the channel I'm going to be back each week to give my ra thoughts on the episodes and everything that's happened if you like this kind of content please hit a like on this video comment below with your favorite moment of this episode and let me know who do you think is going to outlast each other in the traitors is it going to be Boston Rob Carolyn Bob or Danielle and who you shouting for at the moment for now thank you so much for watching
