Survivor Players: Playing Big Brother Lets Talk About It

00 Welcome back to the nullified take where we've got the tnt takes for you on survivor or big brother who knows we got a little bit of news that dropped on the 3rd of march from an article that was on monster critics where they said that there's going to be potential survivor players playing big brother and i thought you know it's survivor content i don't cover big brother on this channel as of yet maybe it's something i'll do in the future but at this stage i'm trying to stay well away from big brother because i know how much preparation goes into staying up to date on all of the big brother content that is out there i know that tarana i'm strong on rob as a podcast does an amazing job staying on top of that i don't think i could get into that amount of detail and effort to go through everything that happens on the live feeds funny enough i think having the live feeds as something that people potentially could watch with survivor players would probably be a big part of the attraction for a lot of people and why they would like to see former survivor players play on a show such as big brother so it'll be interesting to see what happens with this but let's have a look at the article that dropped here and if this is something that you guys like i'm gonna start doing

20 This a little bit more often in the future where we go over some of the highlights in regards to any news that we see happening on reality tv it's something that i'm more than happy to jump on and have a chat with you guys about so this is the article that dropped on monster critics for those that haven't seen it says that big brother rumors a season with only former survivor players potentially will be happening there are some big brother rumors that show up on social media linking the franchise to survivor another one of the hit reality competition shows on cbs the rumors themes from cbs possibly looking into trying something other than a season of celebrity big brother next winter so by the sounds of this it's going to be something that is going to be very similar to what celebrity big brother is i haven't watched this season i have to be honest with you have cooled down on big brother quite a lot in recent years because to me it has become very boring and predictable with a majority alliance normally running the game and you normally can't enough know who the people are going to be that's going to get to the end and that's going to win the game so it's taken out for me a lot of what i used to enjoy in the early seasons of big brother we had like a fraction a fraction in the house and different people would go head to head and you would never know who's actually going to win and i felt like it took more skills and maneuvering between alliances to get there and win the whole show so

41 Due to that i'm not all that much across big brother at this point but it's going to be interesting because i do know that celebrity big brother normally is a shorter version of the show so that means that if you do get certain survivor players playing this show then that would mean that they wouldn't have to take as much time off to play the show because obviously in big brother the show can go on for like three months which would be a lot of time for anybody to take off especially if they want to get some of those big heavy hitters onto the show from survivors so it'll be interesting to see what they do in regards to that now this would be intended to bring additional eyes to the show we need to be clear up front and that these are still just rumors at this stage none of cbs producers or big brother or survivor producers have confirmed anything it'll be interesting there's a lot of crossovers happening at the moment in the survival world for those of you who follow my channel who came here from the challenge the content that i do with angel cake entertainment and chantel francis from reality realness may have brought you to this channel you would know that we had a conversation not that long ago about potentially the challenge cbs happening which would mean that survivor players amazing race players and other reality tv shows that are on the cbs channel will potentially cross over into the challenge so this could be another one of those crossovers now

01 I'm kind of interested to know what you guys think of a potential here to have survivor crossover with big brother and having survivor players on there i can see why from a money making standpoint why it's a good idea because if you do get some of these players going over to big brother it is gonna definitely bring additional eyes to the tv set there is a lot of people that are loyal survivor fans that have their favorites can you imagine like there were rumors before this celebrity big brother became a thing that boston robb potentially was going to be on celebrity big brother this year obviously that didn't happen and i don't know how true that was but can you imagine like a boston rob for instance on big brother a lot of people from cbs would know who he is and they would potentially watch the show the problem that big brother has though is that even if they do bring people over from survivor to quote unquote save the show because people are starting to not watch it there's a lot of people by the way that are turning away from survivor as well so survivor's got its own problems in the us at the moment but you know if they want to try and save the show by getting new fans to watch it i do think that the problem is that big brother the format of the show has become stale and that they need to rework it they need to find people who are very passionate about the show like i would even pull someone like a taran

21 Armstrong in to talk to big brother about potentially what they could do to twist things up i know they've tried the tribe format or the team format to make it so that people can't create these alliances as quickly and i think to a certain degree it did help a little bit last season in the beginning of the season but like i said big brother for me it's definitely a concept that is starting to die a little bit and i know i'm probably gonna get a lot of people telling me that it's not true and i'm hoping that it's not true i really want to see next season the season that is coming up i want to see it succeed like i mean i like good big brother i just haven't been inspired by it in recent seasons and i'm happy to be inspired by it in the future now if we were to see a show like this do you guys think it'll save it do you think that you would watch it i think i would watch it if there's a few players personally that i want to see on the show if they do make their way there i've got a little list of three people here that i will put up and then we'll go into an another article about the eight survivor players that who's this surviving tribal would like to see play big brother so let's have a look at that afterwards so the three players for me personally that i would like to see play on big brother would be tyson apostle you know tyson is a funny

41 Guy as a joker he made a career out of survivor going every couple of years to survivor joked about it in winners of war can you imagine having tyson apostle on live feeds like i think the guy would be comedy gold and it would be so fun to watch him maneuver his way in the game and i actually think he could win it i really think people would underestimate him and they will want to have someone fun around but i guess with big brother's liberty it will be a shorter format so maybe people will be more into like wanting to vote him out early but again i think tyson apostle would be a lot of fun he would be like a dr walt kirby kind of character to watch on big brother which i really want to see i'm all for that and i mean tyson's got nothing to lose you know i mean he's already won some money on survivor so he'll just go out there and have fun the second one would probably be a little bit of a wild card i think some people will agree with this and others won't because they haven't really built as much of a legacy within survivor as of yet but i'd like to see victoria bermonde go on there and also play the game victoria was someone that was super strategic she seemed to be someone that would sort of work in the shadows we didn't get to see a lot of her game in her but she's someone that i think on edge of extinction could have gone all the way to the end and won the whole sheriff she could have just got and passed that

01 Vote and got it into the finals i think she had a chance and she was fun to watch and i think she's a gamer so i'd like to see her on a show like this and i think she would be underestimated and i think she could do extremely well the third player that i wouldn't mind seeing on a show such as this and i know people are gonna say hot tank but this is the tnt channel where we do the hot takes i'd love to see philip sheppard on big brother can you imagine like being in a house with philip shepherd like i mean at least on the island if he was annoying you could walk off and go and you know find a space on the island where he probably isn't at you know but i think that he would drive people insane in the house and i would love every single minute of it i'm a big phillips shepherd fan i love the characters and survivor any of the crazy characters that would do interesting things there and i think he would want to prove himself like he still has in my opinion probably a chip on his shoulder and he probably still want to prove that he can you know he's learned from the boston rules book and he can do his own thing and now go out there and win the game so those would be the three players i would throw in the just you know off the top of my head what do you guys think of those three and who else would you throw in there in the list let's have a look on the eight survivor players that should get a shot at big brother according to fansited now this article was written two years ago so it's got a picture here of the

21 Amazing race when they did their crossover which i think sort of started a little bit of this mayhem the challenge has done it for a while but they've tapped into some of the big brother players and they've started bringing survivor players over as well but this is probably more so here oh sorry i forgot to put this on let me let me show you guys what i'm looking at so this article here from surviving tribal so let's have a look kareen kaplan there's nothing more than the big brother community's live tournament to watch someone lousy behavior exhibit by players who came into game snatching weaves green captain once told players kareem would be a great villain like i'm all for korean to make it onto the season i think she'd be a great villain to have on there and then randy another great villain i mean again now randy is someone that love him or hate him and heroes vs villains he had a pretty real deal out there got voted out pretty early on but you know i like him i think you know he's funny why not put him on there and again you're in a house with randy you can't escape now lauren o'connell for those that have actually followed my channel go back and check the survivors that i nominated as a team usa if they were ever to do a crossover season she was one of those ones where i put a name on there and i thought people might disagree with me or they'd be like how can you put lauren o'connell in there she's only played once and now you want her to go and represent the franchise at an international

42 Level but lauren is an absolute physical beast and she's a massive fan of the show i really enjoyed her when she played her season and i would love to have her she could be you know the rachel or the janelle for the newer generation of big brother if she went to go play there but i do feel like it would be wasted potential like lauren in my opinion if i could choose i would keep her for a future returnee season i think she deserves it so hopefully we do get to see lauren and survivor in the near future brett labelle so would have the amazing race you know alliance between karine and brett if he was to play bret's fun and i think brett would say yes to something like this he's always fun he's always game for these types of seasons and why not have brett become that first person to do the trifecta off cbs reality tv go on the amazing race go on survivor go on big brother potentially go and win big brother he's a fun character you know like again good tv i don't have any issues with brett labelle on this list courtney is great i mean who wouldn't want to see courtney and i think she would have such great confessionals i mean this is one of the big issues that we have with reality tv right now and we talk about that all the time between myself angel cake and chantel when we do our podcast for the challenge

02 That it just seems like sometimes we don't cast characters the way we used to and courtney is one of those characters you know you sometimes get people complaining about recruits and they say oh we shouldn't have recruits on the show because recruits don't know how to play the game you know they're boring courtney was a recruit from memory she was recruited in a bar i think she was a bartender or something like that when they recruited her to do the show and she knew nothing about survivor it's one of the reasons she complained so much when she was out there she's like what the hell did i let myself into but again it doesn't matter if the person's a fan of the show or not what really matters is like how are they going to pop on screen are they going to make you feel a certain way are they going to have charisma you know and courtney uses all of that like i am a big courtney stan i'm all for her being on the season i'd love for her to come back and play another survivor season but i feel like maybe time has moved on from courtney and she's gonna be one of those forgotten players now she didn't really make the merge she's still memorable i mean i don't know why i'm saying that like between the fans she's probably gonna come back let's be honest next one mike holloway mike holloway is a beast definitely one of the players that could definitely feel somewhat aggrieved by the fact that they didn't make it on to winners at war

22 The guy won his way to the end i know some people hate that it's a part of the game i respect that a hell of a lot more than someone i respect even someone finding idols to be honest i don't know why fans hate on it so much but tell me in the comments why you guys hate it so much mike holloway's a gamer he would play extremely hard i would like to see it he's a strong character you know why not i know some people would be angry at this i would even like rodney who's in the photo to be in there i think he could be fun as well you know let him be in the house on his birthday and eat slop ali elliott interesting choice i feel like ellie was really popular when she played the game i forgot what season she was in she was in the season with patrick and yeah i remember her and patrick knew each other from before the game and she got voted out or got hurt by the fact that they were close i think patrick was a demise if i remember that season correctly i don't think i've seen that more than once but i remember having a lot of potential i don't know if she would be the player i would bring back though like i mean i feel like if you're going to bring back people you want to bring eyeballs to the show you bring bigger names than ali potentially to the show but i'm also getting like a second chance season survivors of africa is going to do a pre-merge versus merge season this next season so that's going to be exciting to see people that didn't make the merge and try and get

42 Redemption so in a season such as that i think ali could be someone that we could consider all right lastly bryce isaiah i like bryce fun character got the purple pants podcast you know bryce would be hilarious on the show and i would be all for a bryce on this not a bad cast i've got to say not a bad cast overall who would you guys put onto a season such as this i'm quite interested to know like i said you know survivor big brother interesting concept i'm not against it i think that if they were to do it and if they relied on the same game mechanics that they have in big brother right now i feel like they need to continue to evolve the game and i'm saying all of these things as someone that's not watching celebrity big brother at the moment so i don't know if they have changed some things since i watched i am still cautiously optimistic that big brother will get better again guys put a like on this subscribe comment below let me know what you think about this and if you like this type of content where i talk about certain things that come up throughout the week in regards to reality tv and if it's potentially relevant let me know i would like to do more of these kind of things i mean i think it's a lot of fun to dive into some of the comments that come up from week to week and i know that at the moment

02 There's a lot of rumors going on for the challenge so it's something that i want to look into pretty soon as well and maybe start making a habit of it as always thank you for the support and catch you guys next time
