5:21 Is anyways four and a half hours later it was the worst bike ride I've ever experienced CU I went all the way around Oakland basically so at the time I lived in East Oakland for those who do live in New Zealand and the place I was going to was in the NorthShore so I had to go quite literally all the way around and yeah I just got so sick of it I tried to fix the bike but instead I ripped the seat off and I couldn't put it back in so I just made the problem even worse for myself and yes R it without a seat no I just walked at the rest of the I don't think so V I was just thinking but yeah no I can't fix a bike I wish I learned how to fix a bike back then but no I would have been useless I can't I can't do that I've had like a chain come off and I tried my best to put it back on but you know as Steph was saying someone's got to help me here come on yeah like I mean well I think the tities now I don't know which ones which out of the mat Builders but one of them was fixing the bike and one was doing the intense staring and squashing and they were very close normally when you're doing a roadblock your partner is further away

9:23 Michelle do you think there have been a too many time penalties this season or is it fairly look they're allowed to take them it and you know what people were complaining it was 30 minutes but I think I think it could have been done in 30 minutes so that's they should have the time penalty for the time it takes to be done unless they really can't do it I mean if I was there it would be better to arrive see the bike take the time penalty straight away because I would not be doing it in 30 minutes no and we didn't see how long he was there prior to that you get a sense that it was a while yeah and it's only if they had the good sense to see it straight up and go time penalty before having it go that is also very big coded to just go no are you allowed to do that on The Amazing Race So This is my first season of The Amazing Race I've ever watched they've done it in the US where they've arrived where Boston Rob arrived saw the challenge and just went n let's take a Time penalty and then convince four other teams to take the time penalty with him so they all as long as he took it first and it was okay and then he convinced the others so they were all late they didn't do it gosh

10:43 That's Boston Rob yes classic Boston Rob yeah so in true UFC fashion Logan and Bam finished the roadblock first because they have been continuing to smash this entire season out so good I mean I don't I just for mcky to catch up I don't I don't watch UFC so I didn't know them before they came on and pretty impressive performance don't you reckon M oh I love bamb bam and Logan they eily my favorite contestants this season I love Islanders I have a lot of Islander friends as well so I get the humor get their laughs and all the like quick little jokes I'm like yeah that's so funny so I'm 100% roting for them the season they my standout favorites yeah I love how them and Brook and Adam are just they're not your typical athletic type and everyone always thinks you have to be athletic to win to be on the race and to win which you don't you just have to be good at the challenges and get to the pit stop because it's not all about running you know it's only about running

12:03 Very small portion of the time so I'm loving that they are not really athletic and they're just you know blitzing it all and I don't think anyone knows how to talk to the locals like Logan and bamb Bam I think it's something about their personalities and their size that any local has just melted into their arms and go no we'll do whatever you want we'll show you wherever you want to go yeah anyway they head off to Nelson Mandela's house because you know on The Amazing Race we have to get real a little bit and feel things so they ride their bikes which is a good test of whether I so scared that some of them might like fall apart as they were riding but that just to see a wheel tumble off in fall over it tends into like a unicycle or something like you yeah although I think Peter Helia was like I think I need a different bike though I want one that's actually I wondered if someone's gonna come in and make it for him and go there you go that's how you would have done it if you wanted to it took me five minutes and which I thought was very if we want to go back to the very start of the episode on the way to the Backpackers

20:05 Thorpy has only ever done the walkie and Billy have only ever done the walkie-talkies and okay all right yeah okay I understand so they're not pulling their weight in their team which is very VC coded I have to admit it would be I am I am the Sandra in the later seasons of just sitting out any challenge I possibly can with any excuse I can find this is why I should never go on these shows anyway you know who would have been good at the drummer drumming challenge is Emma Wiggle from last year she would have she would have had that sorted within five minutes I am a complete shill for Emma wiggle Mony who was on last year you know the Wiggles everyone knows the Wiggles yeah Emma wiggle was on even though you're not forced to watch it at the hands of a four-year-old like I was over and over and over and over again so we got Brooke and Adam doing magnificent work and they finished first Michelle yes look at Adam they had their moment well sorry they're musical they'll get it they have to get it straight away it's amazing they were good I was so surprised they beat bam I thought they would get it straight away but as I said the two rhythms

21:25 Together they contradict each other and they're really tricky so if you don't have a musical ear I think it's really it's a lot harder for you to get them both at the same time I agree I mean honestly this seemed like an impossible episode of challenges every challenge I just the Bike N the drumming n and then next we've got the detour burger or beers now which one would you have chosen Mony just off the top of your head probably the beers you can't go wrong with the beers I mean I do like a burger and stuff but you know when it comes to cooking I'm fantastic when it comes to plating I'm crap right every everything just looks terrible once I put it on the plate right so I would have easily gone for the beers because you know you can't you know like do a crap job of plating a beer you get what I mean so it's just in the glass and that's it well in or in this case shove it in a bucket yeah and then put that bucket in the wheelbarrow milky beer in a bucket Bam and Logan when they took the first slot and they had to get more this is where something happened for them because they didn't have the bucket in

22:45 The larger bucket like everyone else did so they actually caught the others caught the beer from the bigger bucket in the smaller bucket they put it all together and it actually went past the line whereas Bam and Logan had to go back why didn't they have a second bucket where did their bucket go I noticed that and I wonder if it was sort of the first people to have a go they made the mistakes so other people could learn maybe and honestly when I was looking at them memorize a group order six it's hard every time there's a group order of anything on The Amazing Race I don't want to do it I want to do the opposite because it's hard sometimes they're really hard well that's what I thought and then they showed on the map where they had to go with the beers and it looked like freaking far away yeah I was like oh they both look impossible I don't know and thorpy went I don't know where he went OPP he was going somewhere my gosh the others crashed the wrong party you beer I'm like don't ask them if you want beer are they gonna say yes look for a flag look for a flag like dark Gingy place I'm like what are you doing really where is a flag come on that's I found that so funny like you go to like a

41:27 While he was an athlete and it was you know I think he had a pretty tough upbringing because of it and so I don't think he's ready for people to be cracking out the sausage jokes on National Television yeah it's always it's always really hard to know should I make that joke should I not make that joke right because sometimes it can work out in Spades and you build a great friendship like over it otherwise if they don't receive it well oh a rocky road from there so espe on National Television I'm my gosh yeah but he was pretty good natured about it he's yeah but he just seems a more softly spoken fellow than I could have ever imagined so it's been a real Delight getting to know your celebrities Vira barbecue and seeing thorpy so they have a good night's sleep now riddle me this Michelle I wasn't listening properly because that's what when I watch television why did Pete and Bridget get a speed bump is it because of the time penalty no it's because it was a keep on racing leg or a non-elimination leg anyone who gets through on one of those has to do a speed bump which is an extra task only for that team that's right
