1:21 Take on the city of I think this fantasy drive your third one Drew should tell it's so great to be back on alive with both of you drew how you doing I'm doing well as I said in the previous live that we had it wasn't the best of days for me but slowly but surely this day has been getting better we had an incredible live of the power rankings and now we're here talking about All-Stars and I'm nervous but excited yeah you miss us you miss me hey 100 I've been missing talking to you guys and here's the worst like I've not even been able to be in the lives because I've been that far behind I had to like watch all of the challenge episodes in quick succession this week prior to the live because I knew there were going to be people in the life that were gonna they're gonna want to talk about it and I knew you guys might want to talk about it so I had to catch up and I'm glad I did because I've actually been reasonably high on this season and I think it's because I've been a casual viewer I haven't been podcasting about it I haven't been looking into some of the gossip outside of the season and things like that so I've actually found this season to be pretty enjoyable that's my first hot take off the live I actually have to agree with you though so like I think 38 has been one of the better seasons in the last few years I'm

6:41 YouTube and I already started one a little bit earlier on asking who is the most likely person who's going to win this one and I think Drew you're leading that so that's just why I want to make sure that you don't have like 63 of people already think 62 of people already think you're going to win this one before we even start 26 of people think Chantel's gonna win it and then I've got a measly 12 percent I love the faith everybody has in me I mean I mean they're picking the they're picking their odds they're picking the odds because I mean the two All-Stars I was in I've been able to win so I mean I'm just saying they're just going with who has the best odds of see Joanne says here shouldn't Chris choose first since he lost the season no well I definitely think the winner should decide the order okay and I don't why do you think it's that disadvantage disadvantageous to have how about whoever you whoever you choose to go first then decides male or female yeah listen I don't want to over complicate it if we want to do it the way we did it previously let's do that I'm all good with that so Drew I think we're gonna have you choose the order and also if it's male or female first then we're going to do a snake draft okay does that sound right yeah we're coming in with right yeah I know

8:01 I complicate things this is why people wanted me back here can be complicated still that's fine but Andrew was very apprehensive with the complication of me choosing male or female first even though he has all the power well I think no I think it's good to disrupt systems you know I think it's fine I think we could have done maybe the same thing we just did with the sabotage just to see the draft order and or and or male or female we could just maybe say male or female and then I pick the draft order or whatever like I don't know idea of getting the audience in on this I don't know welcome to the draw first time here for one of these drafts you're gonna have a lot of fun you're gonna have a lot of laughs probably mostly at my experience I think we should then have the sabotage if we want it to be fun and have a look laughs to be honest all right [Laughter] this job to go exactly like he wants it to go and I think we should we should make him sweat a little bit Chantal he's one of you so let's bring the sabotage in let's have a second round so in the second round we'll bring a wheel in and the wheel will decide who of us is going to sabotage who does that sound right

9:22 Wheel of names all right I'll add a wheel in the background while everybody has a look at the cost this is going to be the cost of the Season that we're going in with I will say Chantel give us your initial thoughts on the cast that is going to be playing how do you feel the men and the women are stacking up against each other the women are way more Fierce strong badass than what it appears that their male counterparts are coming into the season I just I'm like I'm like whoa I feel like all the women are Heavy Hitters and all the guys there's like a few people that I'm like oh okay let's see how he does but for the most part I would say the women are way up here and then the men are just like kind of halfway I think the women are stacking up way higher yeah I would totally agree with that I obviously as the Newbie you could say I am the Rookie of the three of us you know and watching a lot of the later challenge Seasons there I think is a few people that are gonna stump me and I'm probably gonna walk into a booby trap again like I did in some of the previous All-Stars drafts but that's half of the fun so for me looking at this definitely with the woman there's a lot of people that I thought were Heavy Hitters I feel that will do extremely well that could go either way the

10:42 Season and then with the men there's a lot of people that you're like okay well where do they fit in from worst to Middle like I don't have an order it might have to be once again decided on the Fly depending on who you guys choose throughout this draft but Drew any thoughts any final thoughts from your end on the cast as a whole how do you feel is there anything you want to add to that as well are you excited to see some of these old school players get an opportunity finally to play again and who are the some of those old-school players who are excited to see back Chris you don't have Veronica here so you probably would have to like re-upload if you wanted to add her so just so we all know we forgot Veronica's picture but I think maybe and good pickup that maybe it wasn't included because I got this from Drew so it's on it's on there it's the first one I think I think it's the first name I think it's the first name okay you have a look at that while I figure that out in the back end yeah she's the first name so I think though with tear maker you have to like re-upload everything and change the name I think I don't think it's really it's really finicky sometimes when you do this you can't go back and edit at a later stage no you'd have to re-upload everything and then they might say like you already have this here I don't know if you can edit is my point sorry Drew though I cut you

12:02 Off but I just wanted to get that in there so yeah I was just checking the back end to see if I did include her because I know I remember the first one yeah she's there no I agree with Chantel I think that the women are have a stack side of the cast this time this time around and the men's side is difficult I think that after our first couple of names that I've written down as the first couple of picks it starts to slowly kind of trickle down to a steep decline going down this list and I actually found myself on both sides foregoing a definitive one two three system like I like to do with the draft order of like oh I'm gonna have this person as number one but then it's like you get tilted or whatever I actually had to do tier list myself to where if I didn't know where to put certain players but I was like if these three players are there I could see any one of them being the possible pick if I get one of the these three players up here my tier one list and I'm kind of going off of that system rather than oh I'm gonna pick six instead of my third even though they're still there just because I don't know what this cast could bring there are some players that we haven't seen in quite a long time and I'm excited for that I'm excited for that potential but with some of these play players

13:23 Who may have not done so well in their first go around or they're we haven't seen them in quite a while I'm kind of like I don't anybody could surprise us in a good way or a bad way at this point so I'm already tilted when I was making my tier list I crossed out three names and then was writing them right back where I put I crossed them out of the night's Gonna Be Wild and crazy and not just because we're gonna have sabotages now so and yes about it let's get let's get into the sabotage before you make your decision on who is going to go at what time the sabotage will happen in the second round we're gonna have a will to determine who chooses first and that person like for instance let's say I win I choose I want to sabotage Drew will automatically sabotage Chantel and Chantel will automatically sabotage me in that instance so whoever chooses who they want to sabotage will automatically set a string of events that will mean that we'll go around in a circle and sabotage a different person so if you want to sabotage Chantel drew that would mean that Chantal will have to sabotage me and I will have to sabotage you so keep that in mind when you make your choice can I make an addendum to this sabotage or suggest an addendum instead

14:43 Of the second round could we do the third and fourth round as sabotage rounds just so we can get one full round of men and one full round of women so it's sabotage you'll have a male sabotage and a female sabotage and a female sabotage in the Middle where we each get our first and second picks man and woman pick instead of it being we get the or whatever the round is I don't know I guess I'm trying to bring some sanity to this when I think the point is we want to have as many options on the table when we do the sabotage in my mind I'm for the chaos should tell maybe I'll vote him here for more chaos or should we say yeah the third round for our third male and third female pick we sabotage I think I think if I'm fine with going like we do one round of pick and then come back and then that round being the sabotage all right you want it to be one more round like another half round or other four of no I think third right third round okay so third round and third female pick will both be sabotaged by the person you choose to sabotage so for instance if I win I can have a sabotage on say Chantel for her third male and third female pick you pick those two picks in the third round for the person you're sabotaging them before me yeah that's good that's right okay I

18:45 Is by and far the best the best person the best men man on this cast list so to me it's a no-brainer first pick Leroy Garrett and how can you dispute that he was my number one pick as well you know he said that he wasn't coming back anytime soon but I'm sure they made him an offer he can't refuse also look at the people that he has to go up against it's really might be you know the challenge being like hey Leroy we do love you let's give you a really good opportunity to win this season and so I think that he is set up with I'm not sure like obviously how the cast is going to end up shaking out of course but if we're just looking at the men I do think that he has a really strong chance he nearly won you know if he had a different partner he could have potentially won double agents with if he's stuck with the Kayla what's in there what's her name Casey like maybe they would have actually won that season who knows so yeah Leroy is a great first pick I'm pretty jelly but I figured you'd want to take him off the board yeah listen I mean what can I say Leroy lift just as he found his rhythm and the challenge I thought his last season that he played when he came back he finally showed that he was out to play for himself there were

20:05 So many seasons where he was falling on his sword for his friends around him like bananas and that he didn't really play a proactive game where he was leading the strategy where I felt in that season him and cam really ran it for a large portion of the game so I was kind of left wanting more with Leroy so a great first pick I would have picked him Chantel would have picked him so great start to the draft here Drew I just want to say one thing I added Cyrus and Genesis but as you see they have red labels next to their name they are alternates so just to throw that out there they are not technically in the main game I just put them in there I don't know why because maybe I thought we were gonna use this later down the line for some reason and we would need them but I guess for actually by the time we know if they're alternates or not we'll have like the regular cast pictures but yeah sure oh good so okay so for this drop we're not picking Cyrus or Genesis spicy so yes I just want to make everybody clear of that both to the audience and everybody here like do not pick Cyrus or Genesis from this Castle is I kind of just wanted to throw this out there like they are on the cast as alternates so yeah Joanne is asking do we know if this cast list was confirmed I believe Drew always does his homework so you know he's the he's the statistician the mathematician the true Professor behind the scenes that keeps this machine operating

21:25 So I feel like if he's saying that they're in they're in except for Genesis and Cyrus Chantel we're coming over to you for this second pick your first male pick of the Season drum roll please let's go should tell where you putting your faith I'm putting my faith in Tony time whoa It's Only Time hey tell us why he's fit he's capable of I think he still could compete on the main season and still do really well I think that him coming back like you know he has been I don't know if he's still going to be drinking excessively if he's not I think it's gonna be better for him in this game he's been being a family man I know that he also had his home taken down in one of the Hurricanes like I think that he has a real solid reason this time around to come and win some money to take care of his family and so I just don't know if we're gonna get the Tony that's going around making out with other people cheating on his Partners I think that we might get somebody that's here on a business trip that's going to cut want to use the fact that he's still on the younger half of this cast and get to the end and win some money for his family so as much as

22:45 I haven't been a fan necessarily of Tony in the past I think that this could be a season and a cast that he can come up with a W for so I'm putting my money on Tony time for the guys I will say depending on where you were going to go with your first pick I was gonna pick him he was my third pick there is still another person above him that is that I've got us my second pick but the reason I went the other way is because this other person has been actually competing in recent Seasons so I feel like that recency biases may be playing into it and also they're a little bit more battle-hardened but one of the things with Tony physically looks like he's in the best shape of his life he looks like he's in better shape than he was when he actually competed on the show he's a great swimmer he's great at eating greater physical challenges a bit weak on the cardio side from memory he doesn't do well on the long distance stuff so I don't know how he's going to go in a finale but like I said he does look like he's in shape 34 years of age 13 daily wins three wins and four losses in elimination so he does have experience going out in the sand and we all know I love it when people have got experience of getting their hands dirty and having been on the sand so not overall a bad pick I would have definitely gone for him if he went the other way Drew what's your thoughts on Tony was in my top tier he was in my top tier I actually had him behind Leroy right behind Leroy even though I feel like the person you're talking about is

24:06 A very strong person my third my third pick is the next one I'm sure yeah exactly and it's no-brainer I mean those three names were at the top of my tier one level are you guys are gonna go for Stevie as well [Laughter] with Tony is that well not the problem I mean he is Young he's in shape and he was winning dailies after dailies like he left in I think the prime of his challenge Spotlight in Vendetta's and final Reckoning the only thing is I think he gave up drinking which one is a good thing for himself personally and his family I just don't know how messy he's going to be on the season so hopefully he will come in like being a good confessionalist and want to bring in some entertainment not just like solely focused on Whitney he might still have a temper so we'll see if that's all he has to do is not drink and don't make eggs next to Cara because then he won't say that she looks like his 70 year old mom at this point we look like my mom at 70.

25:14 All right so we are moving on to the third pick my first mail pick I couldn't believe you guys are all on Steve like me now I'm just joking I'm gonna go for the Mad Men bread as my first pick now obviously with Brad he's been on recent All-Star Seasons not only does he have a glorious beard like myself and Drew we admire that every single time he comes back to do the show but he's also a greater daily wins like he's got 47 daily Winston is challenge career so I'm expecting to rake up some points with those daily wins he has been a big part of the storyline in recent Seasons I think he's going to remain a big part great at eliminations eight wins and eliminations to his seven losses and I do think he has a little bit of a fear around him when he goes down in the arena now one of the things for me with Brad that has always been a concern is that he just seems to be that guy like last season was really his season like he dominated until you get to the clutch time in the game the points where he has to you know really get his game face on he's a great prelim player but he's not great in the finals he buckles under the pressure but I do have enough faith in him that he can get into that final spot because like we said there is a big gap between some of these top three men and the rest of the cast if I didn't go for him I would have been an absolute madman myself Drew thoughts on me stealing bread from you this season I know you're a big bad fan

26:35 I'm a big Brad fan big Brad beard fan yeah it's a good pick it's a really good pick he was on another level last season winning so many dailies and staying out of the elimination I mean he was incredible he had a lot of friends and even with the newbies coming in he has a lot of friends still like he plays he played with Tony he played with Leroy he played with Cara so maybe he'll be able to use those relationships now upset that I don't even get him this season again but I mean it's he deserved to be picked in the top three so I knew if I went with Leroy who I felt like number one no without a doubt I wasn't going to get him the next go around so but I think it's a really strong pick Chantel thoughts yeah he's definitely my third pick but kind of like as some people are pointing out here he's not the brightest tool or brightest star whatever we want to he's just not that sharp you're saying that Brad and I were a match made in heaven it shows them so maybe that's the proof there but you know I just don't know if you repeat it that's true that's just a strategic part of this whole thing we saw when he was with the best arguably the best partner when in Jody and how he decided to break those boxes to end

27:55 Up dequeuing himself so he kind of does some bonehead stuff that I wouldn't necessarily have full faith in him but he was my third on my draft so I understand you picking him right now he has the experience like you've mentioned he's you know is definitely strong physically and he has the heart to be here as well so definitely a potentially a strong pick but I can also see them throwing him in over and over again because he doesn't really have from what I could see that much protection so we'll see how he does but I think physically he's strong all right we're moving on to the first female pick here for this draft and I know Drew did this on purpose he set it up so that I could choose someone that's coming back from retirement like myself in Cara Maria as my first female pickup now listen one of the things I've always said about her she's a badass competitor man she's won 42 dailies she's the record holder for the most eliminations from a female she's been in the sand many times 13.

28:57 Anissa now I believe she's ahead Anisa's got 11 I think I could be wrong but maybe with all stars together that could be the case and two-time Champion nine-time finalist who do you want to have in your team you want someone that's going to get to the end who knows how to get to the end and who has won it before and let's not forget the own well one of two females you know they kind of they robbed Jenny off this in her season but on record the only female that won a season outright and beat all the guys even though Jenny kind of did it as well and they wanted to give Johnny Bananas that when in her season she's a badass competitor and I know that the chat's going to be divided on it I don't hate Cara Maria as some other people do I'm very happy to see her back so I'm sure if I didn't pick her you guys would have picked her so Chantel let me know about it of course I would have picked her if you didn't pick her just so I would have her and you'd be jealous but you know she is a great competitor and she is well seasoned veteran of this game she's we've watched his video or part one and we've been able to see the ups and downs of like where she's come from and so like I'm still on this jury with Cara the only reason why I started to maybe not be supporting her that much is really when she got together with Paulie I just didn't enjoy their Dynamic and the version of her that kind of came through since then

30:18 So I definitely want to see how well she competes without him because I think she said she wouldn't do the main show without Paulie and I was like well that sucks but I think I feel like do you guys think that there's some sort of deal that happened behind the scenes where she was like I'll come back for All-Stars but you've got to guarantee Paul is getting a shot in one of these future Seasons like be it The Challenge USA season two or something do you think there's some sort of backdoor deal that was made to get her back on the show I feel like it was I feel like it was yeah so at originally when they were first going out they did do like they did take a stand that they wanted to be on the main season together but recently even last year they did a they did a Paulie did a an interview with a certain I can't remember the channel I'm I hate that I can't remember the channel but Cara was in the background making the sandwich or doing whatever and then she came in and was like well we're cool now we can do whatever we want put me on All-Stars put Paulie on the main season or put them on the CBS season there's so many seasons we don't mind dividing and conquering each and every season so it seemed like time has a and maybe a little bit more stability in their own relationship

31:38 Because the way they started their relationship wasn't the best so I wonder if the time that they got to spend together during covid and how now they feel more comfortable and solid and their relationship now that they feel like we can be a part for quite a while and do our own thing so I feel like there has been that turn but there has been some softening on each side between Cara and production to finally get her to this point that's right Ben because she is a legend I don't care what anybody else says like she's a legend she should be back on the main show or you know poorly coming back in like some of the people are saying here dabu saying yeah Paulie can be on 39 someone's got to dismantle the vacation Alliance like again it's just someone that thinks with their own head now if they go out early that's all good I actually quite enjoyed Jay and Michelle going up against the Vets you know and trying to take them out now did they do it effectively hell no but still you know you need their two factions in the house when you've got opposing factions fighting that's a hell of a lot more fun and you can't put turbo out there on his own I'll just put that out there to go and do it because he had no allies he had no one there that would ride with him in the season so but overall that's Cara any thoughts Drew from your end on Kara would you affected in this first round if I didn't be honest I love that I don't feel like I need to say anything else I think there was a lot to be said but I

32:58 Will say that Cara comes in with a possible really looking really strong on the women's side she looks like she could win daily she looks like she could win eliminations it feels like she has that underdog now in her that she wants to get those beef up her records and everything she can win in the big the big moments and I think if it is a pair final or whatever like the men will want to run a final with her because of her of her stats and everything she has this cast has a big way of her being drama-filled with some of the people who are on this cast so I mean I think it's a really solid pick all around because we know she can do confessionals she's gonna be a centerpiece on this cast and in the storytelling I feel and yeah like I said also drama points I mean she can get you points any which way so I think it's a solid first pick but with all that drama comes enemies so that's also something that is good but I mean Carlos had enemies her whole challenge career so it's just another season for isn't it don't I know it all right chatel you're up with the next pick here who's your first this is actually a hard spot to be in because I think that the top half of the girls side is pretty competitively strong and I

34:18 Think that I'm gonna choose this person because they've come back kind of out of retirement more recently and for that I'm gonna go with Cara Maria's ex-best friend ex enemy X back and forth I don't know where they stand right now but I think that she will get me more points confessional wise than some of the other top tier girls so with that I'm going with Laurel in my first look at Drew he couldn't be more happy because we all know where he's going in this next round but don't let that don't let that get you down Chantal I had Laurel as my second pick as well so I think that is a really solid pick but tell us first why did you pick her this High well I mean [Music] by being on 38 and not really being able to take the game in her own hands she had to always be considerate of her partner and working with somebody else and so I feel as though coming back onto All-Stars she's gonna have a little bit of that animosity and that friction that she might have with some of these cast members and maybe we're gonna see a little bit more of that grit that we're used to when she was playing the game

1:59:28 Realness with three s's on Fridays Drew what did you think of The Challenge Australia this or this where were you saying I forgot to speak to you about it oh you actually enjoyed it yeah I enjoyed it okay yeah what did you sit on it you're five and a half out of ten I'd say like it was shocking to see how it tanked over in Australia like the ratings were down people weren't tuning in for it I mean the final episode had 7 000 viewers I don't think I've ever seen anything like that in my life so obviously they're making some big changes now to how they're going to go forward with the global stuff I saw the UK may only have like five or six episodes they're bringing it to Paramount plus the challenge Australia is also now coming to Paramount plus to try and get more viewers well that would have been helpful though like if they're going to be doing some sort of global thing like make it accepts accessible globally you know not a lot of people in the challenge really are in Australia necessarily know about the challenge and from the shows that they kind of had come on to the season they were like The Bachelor like the matching crew like they're not going to be necessarily the people that know anything about the Challenger watched it before so they didn't Target people that the fans were going to care about and so funny and it just sort of triggered my memory the executive producer who was talking to Horacio
