00 Hello everyone welcome back to the NFI te channel here on YouTube where I'm diving into episode 2 for the challenge All Stars Rivals episode 2 rivals on the edge and I don't know how all of you are feeling about this episode to me it was a little bit of a let down for various reasons I feel like the level of competition each season on All Stars almost just get less and less so really bad showing here from a lot of the challenges is to just quit on The Daily it was a Heights challenge they were in one of the highest buildings in Vietnam I believe it was and they had to go and sort of Reach Out On The Edge and grab these flags after solving a math equation and most teams felt extremely comfortable to quit since there was no penalty for coming in last place I felt like in recent seasons one of the things that the challenge production team has done extremely well they've actually put consequences into if you were to come last in a daily challenge and obviously this season is going to be none of that we finally get to understand the format whoever wins the daily challenge outright has the right to put a team into an elimination but then it will come down to a house vote now the House vote sometimes can be interesting because it comes down to a political game and there are definitely

20 Pockets of people in this game that have worked together before and we spoke about that in our preseason draft but you know for me personally I really like the whole the last team on the daily challenge goes in the challenge to me needs to come down to your ability to perform in these daily challenges and I was with TJ very frustrated at seeing people like Ana get an easy out obviously she was not the only one there was plenty of people who did not even try Beth didn't try for instance and many more didn't even attempt to go out there and do it but hats off to the two teams that actually completed it both Adam and Steve who becomes the biggest threat after this episode they were willing to jump off the platform to reach that last flag as they were jumping and then obviously fessie and Amber having an extremely solid showing here not even having to jump off the platform but fessie keeping Amber up as she was stretching to actually reach that bottom flag which to me was very impressive to see and also hats off to someone like Amber who had to display some serious core strength some serious back strength to do that and not lose her footing and take fessy tumbling down with her from that building on a personal note I fully get why people were scared to do this daily challenge I mean even the three very strong teams at the end who did not compete in this daily challenge with Leroy

40 And Devon turbo and Nani and I think it was maybe like Melissa and Nicole they also didn't do it I can understand why they didn't do it could have put them in a position of risk but I think everybody at this stage knew that Amber and FY most likely won that challenge outright and I think Nani and turbo would have felt pretty good in that scenario because Nani does have at this stage still that really good relationship with fessie who good friends with Casey obviously her girlfriend at the time so I can understand why they didn't do the daily and then I think Devon obviously would have still felt a pretty strong connection to them as well having played many seasons with them recently as well so there was no need to do it and it was crazy to see the weather conditions that was out there and definitely would have been too dangerous to do a challenge at Heights with all that rain and cloud and probably visibility not being good there everything becoming more slippery they definitely make the right call not to complete the challenge on the day and to potentially move everything in the timeline out to the following day if they wanted to go out there and still compete but yeah massive performance by Amber and FY they are going to be a serious Target this season and will be tough to beat it's interesting seeing those two come together and I think they're one of those teams if they can have a season if they

00 Win this season together they get to the end I could see them becoming friends like they are forced to work together here and this could boat well for them in future Seasons as well Adam all this back and forth about how he was done hard by Steve yada y I don't know like it still just does not fit or doesn't feel right to me I know it's for the show but get over it man you're now on a team with this guy and you got to make it work and I think he is going to be very happy about Steve being his partner at the end of this season because he's a very solid partner to have and they're looking like a very strong team as well coming into this season talking about Adam and Steve hats off to them for winning the elimination obviously fessie and Amber ends up throwing Beth and Jan down there to go up against them and it was never even close like Adam and Steve absolutely moed the floor with them the edit tried to make it look close everybody on the sidelines was saying how close it was but they were all gaslighting Us in my opinion I think that Adam and Steve weren't even kicking it into high gear against Beth and Jan it's sad to see someone like Jan go out in this fashion because she is a Bonafide Champion she's someone that is actually really good at the challenge All Stars specifically she's proven herself in this format but she had no shot going up against these

20 Boys with Beth next to her who just felt out of place she feels like she is the one of the one of these things are not like the other and it's Beth and I know that she hasn't always socially fitted in even when she was younger in these Seasons but especially now that she's so much older than everybody else I just don't understand why they keep bringing her back at the stage personally if you're going to bring in more of the Young Guns like fessy and Amber and things like that even the playing field even more I feel like they really did J dirty on this one and yeah like the elimination like the whole you know we've kind of has seen this elimination before where you have to put the poles into these tubes and they all have to go to this different color section within the tube which I thought was pretty cool because both of them had to be in there at the same time the previous one they had to go from one end to the other I think in season 40 Battle of the Champions and they're kind of reusing this elimination in a smart way that's one of the things I do love about the challenge and I always say it is that they keep innovating and using the same format but adding a couple of tweaks to different eliminations and dailies to still keep it fresh interesting and overall I thought it was a good spectacle to see probably not the matchup that any of us went into the season thinking we needed to see Beth Jana versus

40 Adam and Steve it would have been a lot more exciting if fessie and Amber maybe threw somebody else like a Devon or a Devon or Leroy in against them or a turbo n like a heavy matchup and I understand though why they did this a lot of people may have been questioning it and still wouldn't be happy about the fact that they did it they should have potentially taken a shot at another big dog team and thrown them in there but their reasoning at this point was there wasn't many teams that were actually going to beat Adam and Steve so why not gain a little bit of loyalty or support from Adam and Steve throw a weaker team in there that they can easily beat which they'll be grateful for by the end of this and also in the same time not take a shot at any of these other bigger name teams that they actually are aligned with you know and you don't definitely it's too early in the game to turn your back on allian and things like that and anybody can still win a future daes and throw you in there with the team that comes first having the sole right to throw a team into an elimination I fully get why they didn't do it in this case let's talk a little bit about the House vote here there was a bit of conversation and tension Happening Here with Amber being the person who was walking in on a conversation between Frank Nicole and also I believe it was Ashley from the Dario Ashley Alliance and they were all

00 Taking shots at Adam knowing that Adam and Steve needs to go in Nicole being a friend of Adam ended up getting a lot of flack when word got back to Adam that there were going to be potentially the House vote but Amber who was so upset about this with Nicole have not realized that she's got a potential Rat in her midst because she did go to Veronica and let Veronica in on some of the conversations that were going on thinking that her and Veronica are tight and that they will definitely have other's back but then the challenge is a strange game where people play these games for over 20 years together and Veronica's got so much more allegiance to the ogs with both Adam and Steve here knowing that this vote was coming their way and they did not basically W Veronica out so Veronica is someone that is going to be a Sleeper Cell in that potential Amber Alliance that will always be able to go back and tell information to the OG Alliance which I think is going to be very useful to people like Adam and Steve who's going to need Alliance members if they're going to get to the end of this season so very interesting here obviously Nicole and Melissa gets a lot of flag coming their way and they nearly ended up in this elimination against Adam and Steve and Adam and Steve would have comfortably probably sent them home in this scenario as well so they kind of dodg a bullet here but Amber clearly not trusting Nicole and therefore also Melissa is not

20 As in with Amber as she potentially could have been if she wasn't partnered with Nicole in the game we also see more house drama at the end of the episode with kianne and Sylvia going at it clearly those two just do not get along they're like oil and water similar to the J and Beth Alliance where Sylvia has a go at keanne for not having a family and talking about the fact that she's only got the dogs which kellan's very passionate about we get to hear a bit about that and then them just going at it was a bit uncomfortable to watch in my opinion but I don't see a place where they go very deep into this game so far my thoughts on the season is that it's just okay it hasn't heated up for me yet it's not mind-blowing strategy that I'm seeing right now and you know I'm not being blown out of my socks when it comes to the performances of people in the daily challenges so I'm kind of low on this season but I'm hoping as the season continues on and on the first episode was great the second episode was a little bit of a let down hopefully by the third the fourth season we get a little bit rid of some of this dead weight it will become a more entertaining season towards the latter part of it but again it's very harsh words here one episode in I'd love to know your thoughts about the episode are you still entertained by this season so far or not but without further Ado let's have a look at what people are saying on X and

41 If they're really on board with what is happening on this season all right let's if a look here this is going to be the first one here someone saying Kellan is so real for this because WTF is anyone doing there if they're not going to try at least and that's what I'm talking about just feeling really let down by the level of competition season and agree with Nicole Nick at Nick tweets here on X saying this because she had a proper go at Sylvia and this is what triggered Sylvia because obviously Sylvia felt very insecure about her own capabilities as a challenger and not being able to step up in this moment when she needed to so she needed to deflect that insecurity back onto Kellan when they had this go at each other fully agree with Kellan's just like an OG gangster she's someone that wants to go out there and dominate her challenges it's one of the things I absolutely love about kellyanne she's not the greatest political player but man does she have a big ticker and a big heart to just keep pushing Albert rise here saying I'm with Kellan and TJ why are you here TJ could have filled those spots with people willing to do the challenges Kellan is right go home now if this is how you're going to act in my opinion blame production more than the contestants the contestants are who they are we're getting these same people come back season after season who've got seasonal tickets they're even being promoted to run the official

01 Challenge podcast and represent the brand so clearly this is the kind of caliber of people that production want us the fans to love and see they probably think that it's enjoyable for us the viewers to see people quit and not complete the daily challenge so definitely a bit more of a spotlight should be put on the production team and the casting Department than what there is on the players themselves in my opinion fredley here says the all stars fivecast already having more interesting political and stre game two episodes then 40 car had a 19 I don't know if I agree with that to be honest I would love to know what political game they're playing at the moment yeah Irving a says syvia Kean you're so condescending also Sylvia saying you have dogs I have a family 100% Paul here says Kellan has the insane ability to be always great television and one of the most likable challenges on the show team Kellan all the way dogs are that is right lots of lots of people showing some love and support for kellyanne on X and it is really good to see yep and this is what I'm saying about the producers Irving a here says that when will production learn that you need to have a penalty of sort for whenever someone comes and last people not even trying because they feel safe or scared

21 It's pretty disappointing when you constantly push this show as the ultimate competition show and I bet you Productions not listening to this or seeing the tweets the challenge here says Ana has been on the challenge for 24 but still she is quitting on dailies exactly so anyway so a lot of the same stuff Happening Here everybody supporting kellyanne and her thoughts on being competitive I agree with all of what is being said on X if you want to have me read some of your comments in future Recaps and reviews here on the Channel please me at tntor take onx and I will read your comments on these videos but for now that's it that's all I've got for this episode of the challenge I would give a solid six out of 10 maybe at this point for me it wasn't the most exciting episode but also not the worst episode I've seen ever I think that there's plenty of legue or room for us to see some great competition great rivalries here this season and if I'm sounding a little bit down I do apologize I'd love to know your thoughts that you enjoy seeing so many people quit cuz maybe that is the reason that I'm coming into this a little bit more lowkey than usual on this recap anyways catch you

41 Guys next week have a good one bye
