1:20 Down now so I think that this is all I needed we got Genevie versus Rachel so yeah fortunately Genevie is gone so that see it could have been more I'm just you and I asked this before we got on why was this a two-part finale why are they starting NE the next finale with four people when they could have gone into the finale as Genevie versus Rachel because Genevie got fifth place she survived until the final five so we could have gone into the finale what do you think is going on well I saw people speculating on Twitter oh yeah it could possibly be I final D it's like no because he's specifically saying final three he's saying it's not like when Spencer and KAG is like Jeff never said final three he is specifically saying it over and over again hey this is your last so I mean maybe like a remove the jur thing I don't I don't know why they would do that again they could

2:40 They could maybe you know what maybe they do an actual no because if they were doing an actual reunion people would know about it so it can't even be that maybe they maybe they do it the next day maybe I know I think you brought it up before like give them an extra day after final tribal maybe they wait till the next day and then have everyone like more relaxed and then do it could be yeah we'll just have to see because I'm you and I are both a little confused slash just curious at how they're gonna do a two-hour finale next week I believe it's usually two hour is it usually two hours or three hours when it's final five it's the finale I think it usually starts around 8 and ends around 10:30 so it's about two and a half maybe it starts maybe it ends yeah maybe I can't remember but I know I know that by the time I'm leaving New York City during finale nights it's usually about 11:30 midnight so that's I'm only guessing based off of that but we got a great episode we part one was what we needed part one

4:00 Gave us everything we I won't say wanted but it's everything that we needed to happen in order to set up the Rachel wi that I called back in episode one so we get back to camp and you know Andy immediately goes into lying mode and says I didn't I didn't make up my mind God it changed my mind like what the hell are you doing yeah I just Shenanigans I mean it all it all didn't even matter once we got to you know that next tribal it was all just like that narrative was out the window but Rachel comes in get she walks in on people's Snoop or gossiping she walks on a little gossip sesh about her and she learns that Genevie has an idol supposedly you know and that they want her out and that if she doesn't win this next one she's got to play her Idol or else she's gone and I think that the way they filmed that the way that they show hey Tiny's confronting

5:20 Andy about everything the four of them go off into the woods Rachel gives her confessional about hey I know how on TV it looks like oh yeah we the light and everything it's pitch black and you can even like I'm glad that they did they showed moments of her like feeling around they also showed up moment where Genevie was like has her hand on Sam's shoulder as they're walking because it's dark I enjoyed that scene so much because yeah now you see okay tiny for good reason tiny understands I can't work with Rachel right now because Rachel has to go I get it I get why tiny would flip right there Rachel goes back to camp that Sue's just chilling as Sue does and at that moment it's like okay yes work with Sue because at least we know that Sue is going to be loyal no matter what I know that we're going to touch on Rachel telling her about the idol and whe how we feel about it but I mean jumping the gun I think that she should have because she needed someone to tell and Sue's not going to tell anyone yeah and I just want to Pat myself on the back a little bit because did not call it last week that Sue was going to be loyal to Rachel and here we go but yeah no I mean

6:40 I agree with you right move because obviously hindsight but like you know in the Moment Like Sue has done nothing but display loyalty to whoever she's working with and that's exactly what Rachel knew and so she you know took advantage of that and I want to say you know I think it was a bit surprising for me seeing kind of how this all shook out because I think that the conventional wisdom was that okay yeah Andy's probably screwed because Rachel Sue and Tiny are going to be a solid three no way you can convince them otherwise and then Rachel's got the block ofe that expires anyway so she's just going to use it on one of them and then boom they have a majority but that is not what happened teeny was like I'm done with racial which I just thought for sure like Andy and Genevie have done nothing but just kind of screw with teeny this entire time and just Li and so I thought for sure that you know tiny was just kind of

8:01 GNA say yeah to hell with you guys but no that's not what happened no and I understand because yeah if you're looking at threats and you're looking at the fact that yes although geniv is probably the second biggest threat left in the game Rachel has been getting by every round with her name consistently being out there we've got to get rid of Rachel let me put myself in good graces and let me deal with this now I think that you know when we're going to get to it the idle play is what ultimately saves Rachel and it's so funny because both boots this episode very similar to episodes of this season have been very telegraphed like we know what's going to happen they are telling us what's going to happen and it still leads to very fun moments at tribal because the tri because the cats is so great that they make us interested in a outcome that we know we're fairly certain is going to happen and I think that's going to continue to pay off next week because all season it's been shown that Rachel's going to win so when she does win it'll be like oh wow that's crazy that she won but also what a great final tribal I get T once again you know gab's here yeah I feel like

9:21 Teny had potentially her final Charlie Brown moment of the season but she's able to capitalize well not even Capital she's able to get rid of Genevie even though she doesn't vote for Genevie she's able to get rid of Genevie finally and I think that's genev has been her Bruce if she's coutur in the situation so like let's just let's finally deal with this yeah Genevie was definitely her white whale this whole season Charlie I mean it really is I mean and we'll get to the second tribal but I mean it just gets even more so let's see do they still give money for top three or is it just one and two how do they determine who is two and three if it's landslide do they tally up all the votes to play second and third yeah so I believe if it's unanimous that they 100K for second and then for third it's 85 80 I think I think they both get 100K I'm fairly certain that's the case right ye I know that they both get the same amount but it's just get 100K yeah I think you're right I think you're right which that's only happened what twice I think that I mean we

10:43 Know and well Worlds Apart they both carollyn and will got one vote got one vote oh yeah every have to count those and yeah I'm not going count that right yeah no we know we have the plot of the first half of the episode The plot's going to be let's all win immunity so that Rachel can go home with us with the audience knowing it doesn't really matter if Rachel wins or not only reason we would want her to win is so she doesn't have to use her Idol now we pull up to the challenge everybody immediately sees oh it's a Rachel challenge we're screwed yeah and get Rachel versus Genevie the puzzle and it's great like they go They're going at it then once again it's not until Jeff says that's the fastest we've seen someone do a puzzle that we realized it was never actually that close because it looked like Jen be just kind of ran away with it the entire time yeah but I was on the my seat knowing full well that I like it doesn't matter and Rachel's going to stay and I think that once again it's a testament to the season yeah and you know it all just kind of is like okay we know she's getting to the final five it's just like how easy is it going to be for her to get to final four because she can save her Idol

12:04 If she wins immunity here and yeah basically she had she just had to they made it a little bit more difficult for her yes that's really all that happen they're like and you know we see after this challenge when Genevie wins that Rachel really puts on a nice Oscar worthy perform performance just you know like oh man I'm so sad that I'm about to go out you know but I love this game and you know Italian job be damned because that acting tops what we got last week right yeah both great performances but I would give I would give the edge to this yeah because nobody had a clue the I mean obviously Sue did but I mean just it's great it's just great and it's like for once and I guess I guess Sue does this as well not until the next tribal but not telling anybody about your and when you do but if you do you're at least thought like thinking it through and you're like okay I'm gonna tell Sue who I know is

13:24 G to work with me and it's loyal to me it's just like oh wow wait somebody's actually being smart about an idol everything that Rachel did and I will say that Rachel's not the Rachel wasn't the only one making very smart calculated moves this episode because geneveve picked the right two people to go with her to the summit or to the sanctuary I was I was sitting there like I was shaking my head with Sam I'm like don't pick Sam you don't need to pick Sam you've got Sam for now you've got don't pick him I thought that taking Sue it's like okay let's pick her brain a little bit which she did and taking tiny and I didn't know what was going to happen when I started noticing 's face started getting red I'm like oh this is interesting this is gonna be fun and she reveals the fake Idol to Sue and jev is like I don't I don't care like it's not real it doesn't matter I love that I love the three of them together though that was that was a fun scene that was that was a fun scene for sure just like J just being like I like in fact that's probably good for me and we'll see

14:45 That it was you know it gave her a Fighting Chance the next the next tribal because they were just so like what the heck is going on with this fake Idol you know but yeah that was that was great and I mean it kind of plays into you know the whole like tell tiny something and you know that you know she's just going to spill it because she you know this time she at least had to get some alcohol in her first before it happened but nonetheless she still spilled the beans yeah but yeah good move by Genevie for sure not picking Sam because why Sam didn't need to go you've got him locked up we so we get back to camp and it's it is the Rachel funeral everyone's just say like it's Rachel this what I'm saying they tell they told us what's going to happen we know as an audience Rachel's gonna play the idol it doesn't none of all of this is fluff but it's fun fluff because you are now watching the game from Rachel's eyes and I feel like we've been watching the game from Rachel's eyes for most of the Season we're watching the game from Rachel's eyes and it's like this is hilarious because none of this matters and she and Andy try this is you know for the Andy haters out there I'm going to side with you on

16:05 This one thing Andy lays it on a lot thick with the whole jury management thing when he's ready to send her out and I think based off of that I feel like if Andy had sat at the end it might have been a little laughable if he had tried to talk to the jury how he tried to talk to Rach there yeah no I completely agree I mean Rachel saw R through it she calls him out and I mean it's also like you're not even like considering the possibility that she has an idol I mean I guess maybe they're like just why even pretend because I feel like it's just kind of consensus that like that's just going to happen even if nobody's talking about it Rachel will probably just play the idol anyways I guess but like damn like Idols still exist guys like final six you know like I don't know did they like think that shot in the dark was the only advantage that existed because they're like oh yeah we got rid of those got rid that so we don't have to worry yeah we don't have to worry about that oh we don't have to we don't have to pretend that we're vote that we're voting for somebody else

17:25 Well and the thing and this is something that has brought up a few times during this episode the paint Idol which it's consistently brought up and it's like okay so they know that the paint Idol is still out there or at least assume that the paint Idol is still out there because when they get back to Camp after Andy goes and J I think Jen goes oh was it the paint Idol and she's like oh no that wasn't the paint Idol shows that these people at least having their minds there's something else out there and the fact that they didn't from what we're shown didn't take that into account we're not shown any type of moment where someone's like what if Rachel has an idol no one says about it's just Rachel's going home it's done Tribal Council Rachel's sitting there saying oh yeah we basically had a funeral she's acting her role out so well it's and it's great like you when what she say she calls on oh she calls on Andy I love her potty mouth I love everyone's potty mouth in this season but I she calls on Andy when he's sitting there once again just kind of just not telling the truth but everyone knows he's not telling the truth like why are we doing this why are we doing the song and dance it's

18:45 It's not fun man yeah know I know it was like Jeff asks him or Jeff asks Rachel like hey what you know what happened and Rachel's just like Andy flipped or is and she's like I don't know why anybody else is like not being straight up about that like that's just what happened and then Jeff asks Andy like hey Andy you know Rachel just laid it out there like that you know that she believes that's what happened what do you say to that and he like starts to like just talk and just like say something else and then Jeff's like okay but you're not answering Yeah question like what about what she said that you flip and she's like he's like oh that's what you're talking about oh that I flipped yeah no I F it's like he thought he could get away with that not answering the question but Jeff was like no you're gonna answer and I'm like why are we just like I just don't get it because everyone already knows you know and hey you can talk about it in front of the jury because you he's this master of jury management gosh and that's I will say that's where it like once again we've been staunch Andy Defenders on the show but where his game kind

20:06 Of was that and I really saw it in this episode where it's just like all right dude like it's what's her nuts Laura bonum and blood versus water right yeah you know oh sorry you're probably gonna go yeah you're probably gonna go it's like okay and that wasn't even jury management at that point she was just trying to be nice right that wasn't even the jury here it's just like it came on it came off as fake and you're coming off as fake to one of the individuals in the game that it's very clear knows how to read people enough to figure out very fast that's and when Andy goes home and she's sitting there saying like oh man yeah you know that talk today it didn't do much to help you out man it so that Clos with the door book whatever one you want to use on Andy where do you see Andy you know we've talked a lot about him but now that he's done your thoughts on Andy I think he brought a lot to this season and it was a really interesting

21:27 Sort of character Arc for him you know going from episode one just being a complete disaster you know and basically being like you know nobody likes me they didn't you know they clapped when John opened a coconut and then I opened a coconut and nobody cared you know just like oh my gosh dude you know to like pulling off a really good move and like people like I guess mainly Rachel but I think other people you know saw Sam saw Andy as you know a threat to win you know going from that like is really impressive and I don't listen I don't think that Andy's like the second coming of Tony or Kim Spradlin or whatever you know as some people may believe in the chat you know they think that you and I more specifically me is just like this Andy just lover you know I posters of him on my wall no I think that he is just a really interesting player and I was really captivated by him and I thought he brought a lot to the season really glad that we had him and

22:47 I think it was it was a good time for him to go I think this I'm perfectly I'm not saying you know I wouldn't hate it if he would have survived longer but like when he left I was like I'm good yeah story I was just gonna say his story was complete yes because if he if he survives that and he makes to five it's like okay well unless he's sitting next to anyone that's not Genevie Rachel or maybe Sam I know people are still pretty high on Sam which is this ends with him getting torn AP apart at final tribal and I really wouldn't have enjoyed that because I did enjoy the ride I this is another reason I really wish we had Ponder Roa so because I don't think the reception was going to be very high on him getting there I hope that I'm wrong I hope that they embraced him but I kind of feel like Andy would be the type of person that everyone ignores the first night and that sucks because I did enjoy him as a person on the season and I was I did enjoy rooting against him as a player because he was so we get back to camp and this is where I in my head I started

24:07 Fantasy booking everything and I'm like what if Rachel and jenev just got together we like hey let's just do the Two of Us in like Sue and battle down because of how buddy they were as they get back Camp it's insane and they did it in front of everyone which becomes a storyline I thought it was fascinating because they really were kind of in their own world of like hey like it's literally us two like one of us two is gonna win you know it's like hey guys you know based on the edit and based on how the game is gone we agree with you but there's still a chance that one of you gets Fifth and one of you gets fourth you know like it like when it cut to sue being like there's three other people here like I really was just like yeah like the fact that they were doing it in front of them was pretty crazy and I don't know if it was a misstep or whatever if it really had that big of an impact but you know I just know that if I were one of those three I'd be like what the like hey I'm still here too yeah and I think I think in the moment they were just they were

25:27 It's almost like after a football game and you're like shaking hands and being buddy with the person you were covering or whatever and I think that they just kind of got lost in that and forgot there are other people out there I don't think they were purposely doing it to like show but or whatever I think they were kind of you know what a punk test is I don't like on a basketball court someone will show up and they'll like try to punk someone just to see how hard they are or whatever it's like felt like they were like being passive aggressively like Oh no I got you no I got you I think that's all that was measuring something as if you were talking about men measuring something so I think that's what that was is just yeah like someone said in the chat they needed to R the room and realize there are three other people there that realistically could be the final three and if that happens and it's an so in order for that to be the final three tiny or Sam have to win next week because I don't think that Sue is going to just put Rachel on fire I think that Sue is loyal to a fault and will bring Rachel along and then the two of them will battle it out do you think that everyone was

28:08 So I'm thinking that's I don't see Sue turning on Rachel so at best Rachel has a 50% chance at Mak it to the end because Sue will take her and Rachel obviously is not she's definitely not giving up the necklace why don't they do Ponder Ro anymore I really like those clips Survivor Australia does it they could do extras on Paramount plus it's a Miss opportunity for them I've heard many rumors why about why they stopped I've heard that there was mess during the 41 Ponderosa I've heard that stuff went down during the season 42 Ponderosa that they didn't want to show and I've heard a few Fair few more things after that I miss him I really miss him like especially you know during the marathon over the summer my I wanted to like watch certain ponderosas from 16 to but they've taken all of them off of YouTube too you can't even find them on YouTube anymore so I don't know what that's all about but I need them back at least the old ones so we they don't have like the early like I think isn't Mike grenia the first M the first one and it's not I mean people might have uploaded it since July but in July was the last time I checked and there were none up there

30:49 Point we get to the challenge I'm trying to say did I miss anything there no because the Teeny the Teeny Montage of genev comes later but so we get to the challenge and I didn't like when they show how to do the challenge in my head it's just like oh yeah you got to move all the sand out of the way well three of these people are small enough that they were smart enough to just move a small portion of sand and crawl through the side Su was the first person through because she to move about a fourth of sand gets through and we once again pretty much get a Genevie versus Rachel Showdown twice in the same Challenge and the way they shot it I feel like Genevie stack fell a little not as close to how it is but whatever I love the way they filmed it and Rachel wins immunity for the third time she's one off of the all the women's record of four which I obviously hope she gets that would be a lot for a win and then once again we are off to the races of what's going to happen

32:09 Next yeah it's Doom and Gloom back at Camp after Rachel wins they are not happy about it because this was their last chance to vote her out now somebody has to beat at least beat her in fire or she's won three immunities so she could easily win a fourth and now that especially now the Genevie is gone boy I mean competition is slim yeah she reporter not yeah so we see Sam immediately say all right I just got to turn on I got to turn on geneveve now so he tells teeny geneveve doesn't really have an idol it's fake we made it with Andy at the final seven to take out Caroline it was all part of operation Italy and Tiny's like holy has everything in this game been a lie and yes the answer is yes yeah people are lying in this game Believe It or Not

34:50 Like ourselves and she it seemed like she was off to a really good start in the game you know she had strong Alliance she was you know sort of a social butterfly out there everyone always talked about how much they wanted to work with her but it Genevie was just there every step of the way to just make sure that she just never even had a chance to get something going just no momentum ever just any time there just NOP back to the star and so I can sympathize of just like it's it sucks and it kind of reminds me of Jake from 45 as well you know where it's just where it's just like he's trying like don't say he's not trying because he's trying it's just not working it's just not working and it's just like Genevie was put out there specifically to with her and it's just I loved when during the Montage when they showed the scene with tiny Saul and Genevie where tin's like how do they even have the numbers for you I don't get it and Genevie is like yeah I don't know get it totally isn't me it's like driving whole

36:10 Thing you know it's just chef's kiss do you think that they had opportunities that were squandered in early tribs Bob Rachel not really other tribals I mean she's 1 three she played an idol at one they merged at what 11 so the very the very first post merory was when Saul gave her the safety without power yeah so they were gonna vote her out then but that really wasn't because like oh Rachel's this big threat I know that they were saying that but like it was because it was all tuku plus her that's why so yeah I mean that was their opportunity but like Rachel was kind of over to be in that situation in the first place so and then after that yeah they could have voted her out they could have voted her out instead of Sierra they didn't they decided to they thought that splitting up Sam and Sierra was more important than taking out Rachel even though they had been talking about the fact that Rachel was a threat they felt like Rachel was one of the smartest and best players on the island they still said nope have to split up those two can't have a showmance
