Survivor 50 | Episode 4 | Recap

Podcast episode · 21 Mar 2026 · 1 hr 1 min

Episode summary

Chris and Andre cover Survivor 50 episode 4, the one with the Zack Brown reward. They did not know who he was, and they say the segment is easy to ignore because the rest of the 90 minutes was strong. The main event is Mike White being voted out. They argue over whether Christian’s move against him helps or hurts, since Mike’s remark about the David vs. Goliath betrayal made Christian break down on camera. They worry that Ozzy was left out of the vote and that Emily could turn on Christian. They follow the Genevieve and Aubry rivalry, with Genevieve having found two idols and Aubry holding one, and Charlie’s pursuit of Rizo, who now has an idol. They treat the season as a redemption story, go through the confessional counts and the edit, and give their view on Australian Survivor. They finish with the draft, where Chris has 76, the TNT community 70 and Andre 45, and Andre’s five straight losses.

0:12 Hey. Welcome back to the Nullified Tech channel. We're back with episode 4 coverage here on TNT with Andre and Chris. it's been a busy week for both of us, but I'm excited, Andre, to talk about Survivor 50 episode 4.

1:09 The question is, are you excited? Were you a Zack Brown fan prior to the episode? Did you know who he was? Or, you know, where do you sort of I heard it's the lowest rated episode of all time for Survivor? >> Can I have Zack Brown on my draft team, please? I feel like I maybe deserve him. I think I'll have a pretty good chance. Actually, I've never I never heard of Zack Brown. Maybe that shows my ignorance, but I have no idea. >> You're not alone. I had absolutely no idea who Zack Brown was, but you know, he had >> the same amount of confessionals as Kyle and Jenna. Kyle and Jenna in the first episode. So, four confessionals. I think he must have, you know, averaging at four, he's averaging above like more than half of the cast in the amount >> Tiffany the entire the entire season. I think I don't think we've seen her once or twice.

2:00 >> Yeah, I didn't I didn't hate the Zack Brown segment as much as some of the super fans did that watched it and rated it down to whatever they did on IMDb. But I had no idea who he was. I think it's a good thing for Zack Brown, especially from an international audience standpoint, because I went and I followed him on Spotify afterwards and started listening to some of his calls, his music, and for me, his music's actually pretty good. So, for people who didn't know who Zack Brown was, probably a really good PR stunt for him to go out on the show and do this. But I think if you're not American, like a lot of people don't like I think country in America is at another level compared to the rest of the world. Like the rest of the world doesn't listen to country music as much as Americans do. Like I love country music because South Africa where I'm from originally has a really big country sort of vibe to it as well. Listen to a lot of country music. But I've never ever heard of this guy before.

2:51 But I thought it was a fun little segment but people online were not in favor of him being on the show at all. >> Yeah. I mean if we're having 90 minute long episodes just you can pretend that those 10 minutes didn't exist or 15 minutes didn't exist. We still got maybe 65 minutes of pretty solid survivor I would say. So, if you just ignore that bit, if you're not into that, just ignore it. Pretend it never existed. Doesn't need to overshadow anything else, to be honest, because I think that was it was a great episode otherwise. I thought there was a ton of really good moves. and look, I didn't mind the reward. I mean, we can always We all remember sort of the Jack and Jill reward, right, where they're pretending to laugh at the Jack and Jill movie, which is pretty cringy and so right. So, this was like pretty on a pretty similar level in my opinion. >> Yeah. Well, Jeff really sold this reward as the best reward ever.

3:42 And I think if you were a Zack Brown fan like D was, maybe it would have been the best reward ever. But haven't we had like giveaways of cars in the past, flying in helicopters over Africa, you know, like doing like these extra >> playing soccer with the locals. Yeah. >> I feel like this doesn't even feature in the top five of rewards of all time. I think if you purely look at the new era where food has been scarce and it's not something that they give away freely having this reward with actual protein like something of substance you know probably a good reward to have at this stage in the game and we've seen like in the new era the tribe that doesn't get the flint the tribe that doesn't get food or tribes in this case they severely disadvantaged so I'd be interested to see how much this protein boost you know and nourishment for the soul of the good music sitting Zack Brown as he was singing and serenating them.

4:34 How much this is going to help them going forward in the game for the next immunity challenge because we know that the next immunity challenge is probably going to be the most important one of the whole season with only one tribe winning and two tribes going to tribal council. >> Yeah. And I think it was D I think it was D that said this that was she really mi missed the sort of the idea of being able to bond together. And I think that in a game like Survivor, that's a lot of currency. You know, when you have like a deep experience like that, you can really like, you know, solid solidify alliances a lot better than you would have otherwise. You know, moping around camp without any food. >> Yeah. Let's say hello to people here in the live. Chris saying hello. Saying won't be able to be live tonight, but I just want to say that team audience is going strong. We are dominating the season. Well, we'll have to wait and see if team audience is the number one team in the draft or not. and where the points are sitting.

5:25 But obviously we'll get into Andre's luck so far in the draft. It's a it's a it's a record for the ages. Like I've we did not come into this thing thinking you would lose five players in a row of the rip like no one. >> Christian, welcome to the live. Geette, welcome as well. And we've got Jay here saying, "Never heard of Zack Brown until Survivor. And undress and don't feel bad. The episode wasn't as bad as people say it was in my opinion." I agree. There was some great strategy. Christian game could be crashing because Emily could turn on him. I totally agree, but we'll talk about that later. Jay saying the food looked really good to be fair. Exactly. And then another Gabby situation from David versus Golive with Christian. We're going to get into all of that. I want to know from you Andre like you know who are we not talking about based on this episode? Like it's easy to jump into the hot take. It's easy to go to down the path of who the big players are.

6:17 You know, who's the players in your mind that are just getting enough content to still be relevant, but maybe they shouldn't be relevant still in the game at this stage? >> Genevieve. Genevie is the number one, right? >> I reckon Genevie and Genevieve and Aubry. Like, I think whoever wins that rivalry between the two of them is going to go deep. >> Yeah. Yeah. And I'm finding it hard to read the edit here because like as a viewer not as a fan, but as a viewer, am I supposed to like Aubry because I'm finding her a little bit of a downer to be honest. Just the way that they're editing her and it's like it doesn't seem like you want to be here, Aubry. maybe I'm misreading it or maybe it's part of the story where they're just taking out the bad moments or her just being maybe a little bit sort of like uppety. but yeah, I am I supposed to be rooting for her or am I supposed to be empathizing with her for her to eventually take get one over on Genevie?

7:11 Because I actually find Genevie quite charming. Like she's a >> playing pretty well. >> She doesn't seem to be nasty at any like she's not making faces behind Aubre's back or anything. So I Yeah, I'm I think that I hope the Genevies wins this little battle, but I think we might be setting up that maybe like Aubry will get one over on her with the idol. Yeah, because I don't think anybody in that tribe is aware yet that Aubry's got an idol. I don't think the information has made it through to that tribe, which is a very dangerous position for Genevieve to be in. Genevieve being the number one target of Aubry at this stage in the game. And I'm similar to you. I've listened to some other like I was listening to some who's going to win Survivor content on YouTube this morning prior to jumping on Once Upon an Island. was listening to his content and they all seem to really like the Aubry side of the story.

8:01 They believe Aubry is the one that's being >> painted in a better light even though she's not having fun on the game in the game at the moment. She's not playing with her people, but that she maybe have this rise this Phoenix rise from the ashes arc in the future that if she takes out Genevieve, maybe that's the monkey she needs to get off her back and then she's going to open up her game and be a little bit more social or play that game. But I agree with you at this point. I don't know which way it's going to go. I feel fearful for Genevieve, but I'm enjoying Genevieve's side of the story more. And the fact that Genevieve, let's talk about this, found two idols in this game. You know, Aubry going out there can't find it. She finds two idols and then the irony because of the twist this season with the Boomerang Idol that she may be the person that gets voted out because she could have had two idols, you know, at this stage of the game and probably have the most power in the game. So, I like the Boomerang Idol. I'm not results focused only when it comes to these things, but it just shows you how these subtle changes in the game whenever Jeff plays around with it has detrimental you know impact on the players that play the play the season because Genevie in all reality is doing all the work and getting none of the reward for it.

9:07 >> Yeah, I mean she may get the reward for it if she can get through this. I would say it's about bad luck. Like it's it is literally unlucky that Christian found the idol and gave it literally to Aubry who happens to be on her tribe as well. And they do seem to be mortal enemies for whatever reason. I don't think Genevieve instigated it based on the edit. From the edit it seems like that Aubry instigated it. but yeah, it's just a very strange situation and ultimate irony. I think if she gets voted off, she's going to probably be one of the more unlucky players in Survivor history, I would say. And I mean, that's a oneway ticket to get back to back for another returning season. People would sort of see her not in the same light as Si, but everyone says Si is very unlucky. >> Malcolm's another one. I think that's a very similar type of situation as maybe Malcolm in game changers.

10:00 >> Yeah, I think we're going to talk at some stage probably about who are the players that are they're adding to their legacy. they're adding to who they are as a player and we just see okay well the first season wasn't a fluke and I think Genevie is one of those players where she's clearly a great survivor player. and I think Aubry is interesting to me as well because she flaked out so badly in her previous season, but she was one of the few returnee players in that season. So I think Aubry always does better in a full cast of returnees where they are potentially bigger targets than her cuz she has slow starts to the game and then she works her way into the game and becomes more powerful if she can get there. but she did kind of flop in game changers though. She never really got her foot in game changers either. And that was a cast of full returnees and she was clowned on by like Cirie the whole game basically. So maybe it's just a matter of like diminishing returns with her. >> Yeah, Scott Peekin says here, "Got here late, but glad I noticed it's live now.

10:55 Been a long time since I did the nullified take live." Welcome. Welcome back. If I remember correctly, Scott, you're from I think it's from Boston or Chicago. Chicago. I think it's Chicago. you let me know. Dolores says, "Downer, like Debbie Downer, I am with you, not an Aubry. Every time I see Genevieve smile, she reminds me of Pav. I understand it may just be me." I agree. She's there's something about her. She's got that she doesn't play the but I think also poverty doesn't like the flirt game of poverty is overstated a little bit. She is just a really good strategist. but there's something about her smile. She's just very charming. Like it's hard to dislike someone that delivers you bad news with a with a good smile. Andre, if it's if it's if there's a smile, it kind of diffuses the situation. Willy says, "I hate Zack Brown. He took up half the episode." There we go. There's a few people who are not too happy with Zack Brown. Hot take. I like the Boomerang idol even though our favorites like Genevie didn't get to keep it.

11:48 I like that it's the idol through of preseason expectations for what the players would have expected. Chicago. There we go. Yep. Hope things are good in Chicago, Scott. so yeah, so another rivalry and another one that probably we'll just touch upon briefly here before we move on to some of the bigger talking points of the episode is the one between Rizo and Charlie. That's one that's going to play off in some sort of way. Either Charlie's going to win, Rizo is going to win. You were very hot on Charlie's taking out Rizo in the previous episode. Has things changed now that JV has sent him the idol? >> It has. It has changed, but I think it's quite delicious that Genevie gave it a to one of her biggest allies in the game that she wants to turn on. be somebody that's in a similar situation as Aubry, I guess, is being gunned for.

12:38 C Rizo, who specifically whose game was built on holding on to an idol. So that was pretty savvy. I don't know. Maybe Rizo was gonna change his game and realize I mean we saw in the preview that he kind of realizes that Charlie is after him. So he might play his idol. Maybe this is the one time that he's like a I'm gonna decide to play my this time. So I this is another thing to watch and I think that I think that storyline really wraps up very well with the Aubry Genevie and then sort of the Charlie Rizo and just seeing how that works out because that's another great irony like Rizo didn't find the idol either. So, what implication does that have to both Genevie's game, Rizo's games, and Charlie's game? Because >> the Charlie the Charlie Rizo sort of rivalry is a really strange one to me, but it's just I find it quite funny just that the whole premise of it and how it ties into both their seasons.

13:32 I think it's going to be a really interesting watch. I think that Rizo is probably going to win out on this one. I think just because he has the idol. >> Yeah, >> I'm team Rizo. I'm like, you know, I've gone I'm like I feel like Colby. I've done a full turn. Like Rizo, I've never disliked the guy or anything. But in the first season, I was just like, "Yeah, I don't see it." Like, you know, he's holding on to the idol. It won't work against returning players that know what they're doing. I didn't see anything massive that season that made me think, "Okay, well, he absolutely needs to come back ahead of a bunch of other returning players, right?" But obviously the production team loved him. Jeff loves him. They brought him back. And I get his spot on this season now. He's one of us. He's the fan. He gets to talk to Sherei, Colby, all these legends about his fandom and loving the game and he is just so likable. He's just a really likable kid playing this game. And you know, I'm so glad for him. Like Genevie wouldn't have known it, but the one person who probably needed the idol the most.

14:25 I was thinking it's one of two people she's going to send it to, either Stephanie or to Rizo. But Stephanie seems okay and Rizo probably will benefit from this idol. And I and I think the one thing that made me excited when he got the idol is him saying, "Well, you know me with an idol. Res with an Idol wants to make big moves, wants to be, you know, wants to do things at tribal council. And I think that if I had money on the next episode, they're going to tribal council probably with Orange in the next one. Like I'd say Orange and like the teal tribe I would say would be my hands-on favorites to stay safe. But again, there storylines across all three tribes now where we can kind of see who those next targets are going to be. So you've got either a Rizo Charlie showdown with Rizo potentially playing an idol, an Aubry Genevieve showdown with Aubry potentially playing an idol, and then if you go back to Christian's tribe, that's the one that's going to be interesting to see where it's go because it's so fragmented now.

15:17 Previous tribal lines are being blurred. Ozzy wasn't kept in the loop with this last vote. And I think this is going to have a massive impact on where the vote's going to go in the next week. And I'm feeling a bit fearful for Christian to be honest with you. Like I love Christian, him coming back this season, playing again, seeing how much he's grown, seeing how, you know, aware he is of being manipulated and things like that. He's a great survivor player, but to the point of one of the commenters here early, I think it may have been Jay, >> is Emily going to be his downfall? that has Mike White predicted this correctly that he's going to go down the same way that he did in the previous season that he played with the girl trying to backstab him and maybe in this case not backstab him but drag his game down with him because she's a messy player. >> Yeah. No, I think that Christian is very he's a little bit almost too self-aware and he's very game savvy.

16:08 I think he's a very disarming type of person where you sort of see him and you think, "Oh, he's just the nerd." But when you actually like break it down and you actually listen to everything that he says, he has a reason rhyme reason for everything. I don't think he's blind. Like I think if you're on the island, you're talking to Christian, I don't think he might be necessarily blinded by Emily and sort of seeing it that is ga as a Gabby situation. I think he correctly realized that Mike was trying to manipulate him. And I think if they were smart, they probably would have gotten Mike out last week in my opinion because he was a very powerful player. This week is fine. It's just that I think it makes for a very good storyline and then sort of you know from the past there's a very clear parallel between Emily and Gabby. So I think that this wasn't this wasn't oh he's trying to manipulate me because of Emily.

17:01 I think this is the last straw. I think it's like this was a thing that broke the camel's back and now I need to get him out. And I see an opportunity here. There's a unique opportunity where they're splitting their votes. Let's do this three 321. Let's get out Mike without as without sort of getting Ozzy in because Ozzy can be a bit of a loose cannon and we see him see him next episode sort of going off the rails and we've seen him in the past in South Pacific doing the same type of thing. So I think you know if they do go back to the tribal council does he get voted off? I don't think so. I think that there are bigger targets out there. There's you know there's obviously Ozzy they can always cut. Not sure if Emily got an >> That's true. That's true. But he could be voted out with an idol. you know, never know. >> I mean, st like it's such a it's such a fragmented tribe, right?

17:53 If Christian and Emily really are as tight as I think they are, then they b there's only four left on that tribe, right? Am I miscelina, Ozzy, Christian, Emily, and Stephanie? Five. >> Oh, if there's five, they might be screwed. it really depends on I'm a bit worried because I can see a world where Stephanie and Angelina come together because Stephanie was very honest about the fact that she voted for Angelina in the previous vote. Angelina seemed okay with it. She now needs new allies. Ozzy was very close with Mike White. Clearly they had a friendship beyond the game. so I can easily see and I've been wondering about this whole connection between Stephanie and Ozzy. like they're both of an old school era of the game and I feel like there's this unspoken thing between them that they're kind of not directly coming after each other or that we've never seen them interact but I'm sure they've met before you know and that there's been conversations so I can very easily see them pulling together and this move that looked like such a great move for Christian who's clearly been the narrator of the show so far and the strategic mastermind just by the sheer fact that he's been to every single tribal council he's had a lot of screen time, right?

19:04 And that in itself can be, I think, a bit of a like almost like a smoke and mirrors trick that's being played on us as the audience where we think he's the guy who's running the season, but it's really just because he's been relevant so far and he's had to make decisions, you know. So, I'm a bit fearful for Christian in this next round because, you know, I'd hope that they go for Emily, but it also looks like Emily could play this card of I really wanted to tell you Ozzy and I tried to tell you at camp and then Christian shut me down from doing it. And she can play that. I think Emily's really good at playing the victim when it comes to Survivor. I'm a bit fearful for Christian. I hope that he doesn't go. Like it would be disastrous if he goes and he follows my disastrous for my team too. >> I will push back on saying that maybe we're only seeing Christian because he's been the one that's relevant. I do agree in some regard that he has been relevant.

19:54 But if you look at his relationship with Devons, even when they were on the same tribe and Devons was going to tribal council, Christian was the primary character in those episodes. and we haven't seen Devons at all lately as well. Like he's been he's disappeared because he hasn't been relevant. But my point is that if he's not relevant now, surely they might have wanted to frontload a little bit more Devon's content, made him because Deans was doing some crazy stuff in earlier episodes. So my thought is like why were they pushing Christian so much when it was such a tight partnership? >> maybe because he found the idol. I'm not entirely sure, but surely we would have seen more of Devon or unless maybe Devon's goes out next episode. Who knows? but I think that I think this is Christian story. yeah, I think he's a he's a long-term I think this is a story of like how he wins or how he loses.

20:45 I think I don't think there's any really in between. >> I really hope you're right. >> Even though he's not on my team, I'm loving Christian this season. He's fun to watch and I think he's one of those players that his legacy is only getting stronger by the fact that he's getting a second opportunity to play the game. as well, I remember liking him the first time he played, but I feel like I'm all in on the Christian stock this season. Jay saying Christian is awesome. so happy he was on the cast this season. Scott is saying Emily is chaotic danger. I agree with you, Scott. Jay says, "I think Christian will get rid of Emily at the right time." And I hope that is true, but Christian also is going to run out of allies soon if he if he keeps loading out people that potentially could work with him because I don't think Mike White was coming for him either. But there was obvious >> He's so charming though. He's so charming. He can I think he's so good socially and yes people were trying to gun him Dave vers eyes but that was because he was such a big threat this season there's a ton of threats.

21:40 >> Yeah and I mean there's a lot of people that you know Q was saying in his exit press were playing for the cameras on Survivor and were doing things for content. Ozzy was one of those people that he threw some shade at. And then Christian here as well saying Aussiey's trying to get that White Lotus cameo. So, who knows? The deeper Mike goes into the game, maybe more people would want to play up the whole White Lotus cameo thing as well. So, that's a powerful tool to have in the game. Dolores is saying Christian making that move against Mike, maybe his demise. If Emily decides to go with Ozzy and Angelina while they decide the vote, I don't think Emily turns on Christian. I actually don't. I think Emily is just chaotic, but I don't think she's going to She could turn on him later in the game. I don't think she turns on him this early. >> Yeah. And also, I think that Mike probably would have gone for Christian sooner rather than later because you don't manipulate somebody so much like that. Like literally like pulling on his like crushing his heart.

22:32 >> It's just kryptonite. >> Exactly. Yeah. Just like going straight for the jugular if you're not going to turn on him pretty quickly. And we saw him David verse they kept on voting trying to vote him out. So I actually don't think that it's the worst decision in the world to be completely honest. I think that's the hot take. I think a lot of people say this is not good for Christian's game. I think that was actually good for Christian's game because you want to get out the person that's powerful that can manipulate people really strong against you because they're really setting you up for a downfall a little bit later on. So, I think this could be the first move that makes Christian win rather than the other way around. If Christian does win, you probably look back on this and say this was the move that catapulted him to a really good position. or I could be completely wrong. >> Yeah, I think when people say that it wasn't a good move, it's because of the makeup of that tribe having like who's the solid people in Christian's alliance?

23:28 Like you said, he should know Ozzy can become quite emotional by being left out of the vote and maybe looking like a fool in this moment, voting the wrong way. And then he's only got one definite solid person and Emily. I don't know what his relationship with Stephanie is like, but Stephanie kind of seems like a mercenary for hire. Wherever the votes gonna go and she's not the person that's going to be voted for, she's going to jump on >> too. If Mike's not there, Angelina becomes more of a free agent. And we saw Angelina in her first season. She's pretty like she's a bit of a cockroach. She just keeps on surviving. She >> She'll work with anyone. >> She'll work with anybody. She doesn't care. So >> yeah, >> Christian knows her better than any of us do. So maybe he was faking that into >> he does. But then listening to exit press of Mike Whites, apparently Christian and Angelina was never close. So they didn't really get outside. They didn't get along outside of or not didn't get along, but they just never really hung out outside of the game and never really connected.

24:22 So Mike was the bridge between Angelina and Christian and you've removed them and I think Angelina is a lot more loyal to Mike. So I don't know like I feel if he survives this tribe maybe it's good for him. It just seems like a very risky move to make at this stage with the players in that tribe that he's playing with. >> It would have been a lot smarter to try to go after Mike last episode, get Q to have his vote back and then work with Q. And if you had Q in that situation this week, things would have been completely different. So, it might have been a the move was a little bit too late if anything. >> Yeah, good point. let's have a look. Chris Christian Gell says Stephanie is the swing boat. Totally agree. Danica, welcome back to live. It's been a while. I hope you're doing well. we've got Jay saying, "Wait, what if both green and purple tribes go to trial next week?

25:13 And if purple goes first, Ozzy gets blindsided with his idol. I wonder if Genevie gets the idol immediately after." It's a good question. If they go first, >> I think you'd have to, right? Like just based on the rules. I don't think there's any like 24-hour sort of like buffer, but you'd have to get it straight away. >> Yeah. >> The real question is like what Yeah. What is the order of operations there? I guess does the person that wins the immunity, sorry, that loses the immunity first go first and then I would if I was Genevieve, I'll be really asking a few questions there and saying what are the exact rules for this because there's a non-zero chance that Christian or I guess Aubry now Aubryy's on her tribe. So >> yeah. so I think Ozzy is going to play as idol to save himself probably. I think I mean if you're Ozzy at this stage like you have to be almost delusional level of confident not to want to play the idol at some point.

26:08 I feel like >> does Ozzy know that it's a boomerang idol yet? >> I don't I don't think so. >> I feel like Q told him. >> Well, Q did tell him. Q did tell him. >> Yeah. Yeah. So Ozzy will know. It's kind of like look I can only play it for myself and then otherwise it will go to I don't know if he even knows that Genevieve gave it to him but it'll go somewhere else. So, you might as well use it at stage. I feel if you are if you're in that South Pacific situation like I'm a free agent now, people might go after you because you're Ozzy. You're a threat. >> Yeah, Dolores, I see this comment. Very happy to be back on the live as well. And happy that you and Danica can reconnect here in the live and have a bit of a chat so the community catching up again after a year of silence. Scott saying Christian Mike out either really good or really bad. We just don't know yet. It's exactly we don't we don't it's a lot of speculation at the moment but it's a it's a war that I'm very interested to see how it's going to end.

27:04 I wanted to talk a little bit about Christian like how much that comment hit him. Like you said Mike knew exactly what to say what the kryptonite was. It's been seven years Andre and he broke down on TV. It really shows you like I mean I know that if you and I had the opportunity to play tomorrow we would say yes and we would do it just because it's would be like I you know I know for both of us we've got a lot of commitments but we've been watching this show since we were kids right and we've been we've been along the journey from the beginning. It'd be hard to say no to it but these are the things that we as fans don't always appreciate about the show like the psychological warfare the damage by people betraying you in the game and how closely you connect with people. I always say on the podcast, I think we don't understand it because when everything gets stripped away, you don't have social media. You don't have the comfort of home. You know, there's a certain bond that happens when you have to sleep next to someone else on the beach just for warmth that you get that you get that closeness that we just can't we it's hard to comprehend, but clearly that scar cut quite deep.

28:03 And again, it just sort of shows you how raw the emotion is and how real Survivor is. And it makes you understand why bad juries or bitter juries exist, I feel like, when you see a scene like that. And I think that if there's going to be a theme for this season, it's definitely correcting the mistakes from the past. And you see that time and time again with every single basically every single major story line is about, you know, making sure that we don't make the same mistake as last time. And you can tell that Christian, even though like when you're away from the game, you don't really cry, you don't think about it, you don't really cry about it, but it's sort of it weighs deep on your heart. And I think that Christian showed that really well. He's a really great narrator. He was really able to explain to the audience like, hey, this has been weighing on me. Like he's 40 now. He was 32 or 33 when David Goliath was filmed.

28:53 That's his entire 30s that he's probably been thinking about it, thinking about the betrayal, thinking about what he could have done differently. and for that to be reserviced specifically by the guy who was gunning for him the entire season like I felt that too because I mean I think we all remember if we were watching live David Bolas such a great season getting really into it and really rooting for Christian and every single week they were they were trying to vote him out trying to vote him out anytime that you know Davey played his idol and then they got out a GL like we were all rooting for that can you imagine being in that situation like it just it's an incredible it's a incredible storyline incredible storytelling. Yeah. Going back to sort of like correcting this I mean this season really should have been called Survivor Redemption and stole from it's way it's way more of a redemption story than the Australian Survivor.

29:49 You got you know Genevie trying not to be a sociopath. We've got we've got Aubry trying to correct sort of her last season. We've got Charlie trying not to trying to get out Rizo and now >> Jonathan trying to play more of a social game this season. Colby trying to not let his emotions get the best of him while he's playing the game and showing growth and being mature this season. You know, coach trying to be honorable >> trying not to be coach >> Ozzy trying not to be Ozzy. >> Yeah. Which is which is difficult. it was a bit of a slow episode for that alliance because I do feel like who are the main factions in the game right now? the way it's being explained it's the Christian you know Deans Emily alliance of sort of the middle schoolers and one new schooler that's like the almost I would almost say gamebot type of but they've got they're game bots with personality.

30:43 That's the big difference you know but the gamers and then you've got the old honor and integrity alliance on the other side with Genevieve kind of slotted into it. those seem to be like the two main factions at some point that's going to come to a clash if they were to go to emerge. But what's your sort of feeling like where do you see the different dynamics within the game right now? You've got the Christian side, you've got the coach side with his group. are we missing anybody Jonathan D maybe? I don't know like it's a bit more unclear the Jonathan D Charlie Alliance or that group. >> Yeah, it's kind of hard to understand. have is they've just not been relevant or were we supposed to see more of them when we got Zack Brown instead? because that's where sort of the Zack Brown situation becomes a little bit frustrating where we could have seen the dynamics a little bit more like if they instead of having Zack Brown playing songs in the reward challenge we actually reward they had we had seen like maybe coach and Joe talking a little bit more about where they are in the game or you see maybe a little bit more of sort of like Tiffany and see where Tiffany stands because yeah I mean if Tiffany if Tiffany is like feeding information to Aubry >> like That seems like a pretty important alliance.

31:53 But all we really got honestly for that tribe was like very surface level. Oh, Aubry is generally going against sort of Genevieve and it's just like it seems pretty like surface level and I think that maybe they probably don't go to tribal council at all. To your earlier point, it's like what's the point of showing them when you know you're going to have you know more clashes probably at the merge. We're probably going to see Ozzy and coach go that and that's a storyline. We don't need to see Ozzy and Joe that much or Ozzy and Colby because I mean sorry Coach and Colby because at the end of the day it doesn't matter. so I don't think they're going to necessarily align. I think it's going to be about that rivalry and it's like how can you corral votes around the rivalry? So, it feels like it's probably going to be more of a game ch in a good way, a game changers type of situation or a second chance situation where it's going to be more like voting blocks and it's like, okay, we need to corral votes against my enemy here.

32:51 How am I going to do this? What are the relationships like? And there might be a lot of free agents. I think that's my take. I don't think there are any like really strong big alliances. there are maybe strong duos >> and maybe it might be like >> let's not forget about another rivalry we haven't spoken much about but I think Devon's Joe is going to be something that will come back at some stage of the merge and the fact that Christian dealt with Joe in a lot in a much better way >> sort of you know I think it's going to be good for Christian between those two I've said it before I think Christian is being painted as the >> the person that's going to outlast Deon in the game but we all know Devens is a crazy player and he can pull some pull some things off at tribal council That will be exciting. >> We do know the fake immunity idol is probably going to come into play somehow. exactly. It might be in the merge, but that's going to be exciting. >> Yeah, Danica, appreciate it. I appreciate you giving me your endorsement for Survivor AU.

33:41 Slightly off topic. Are you enjoying Survivor AU? I Well, I guess Andre, you'll have to you'll have to talk to that because I haven't watched it at all. I don't have time to watch both of them at the moment. I'm going to have to without spoiling it, I guess, for me cuz I'm trying not to see spoilers at this stage. Like are you enjoying the season? >> Yeah, it was a slow start. I will admit it like the first like two three weeks was pretty slow. Still good because it's Australian Survivor. the last season was the last week was incredible. It was incredible week of Survivor and I'm super excited. Now it's going to be the merge. So it is a slo you have to get through 10 hours before you can really get into it. But I think the first 10 episode or nine episodes is a really like slow, you know, build up to the characters and to the villains because then you're going to be rooting for, you know, what's going to happen next.

34:36 So, and it's also Australian Survivor is very famous for terrible twists. this season, I don't think there's been many terrible twists or any terrible twists. I think that the non- elimination that they came up with was actually quite interesting from a TV perspective and even a strategic perspective and the twist didn't I personally believe the twist doesn't like necessarily screw anybody. so I think it's a good narrative and it's sort of starting to really get into a into its it into its own. In fact, I would actually say that I did enjoy Australian Survivor more than American Survivor for the first time this week. >> That's possible. >> Put things into perspective. Yeah. So, hopefully it can continue that sort of that rise. >> Yeah. The one thing I'll say about it, haven't watched it yet, but I can clearly see the change with the production team because of the way that they're spamming fans with, you know, apply for the show.

35:33 Like I feel like they're putting in way more effort right now with their casting attempts than what they ever did with the previous sort of seasons because a lot of the people that they put on the show are really Instagram influencers and people with a lot of following and they really try to get the numbers in that way. But it seems like they're actually trying to get fans this time. Like I'm I feel like there's a change in direction with the way that they're sort of approaching casting. Danica saying, "I'm loving Survivor AU the past few years. I've liked it much better than the US version. I'm not thrilled with David taking over for JLP." he says, "All right, way too many times, but I still love it." talking about like this season, Survivor 50. >> One of the things that's quite interesting, I was listening to the Once Upon I think it's Once Upon an Island. What's the channel's name for Survivor? Once Upon an Island. Yeah. Which is a big channel. I'm sure everybody's aware of them on YouTube.

36:23 And he talked about the fact that since season 41 when Erica won, there's not been a winner since season 41 that hasn't had at least a confessional ever every single episode because the backlash was so bad on Erica's win and people were like, "Who was she? What was her game? It was the worst season ever." People really sort of spam production. It looks like it had an impact on the production team where they thought, hey, maybe it's a good idea to let people know who the winner is and for you to at least be a part of your journey from the first episode until the last episode so you know what's going on, right? So, they made a conscious effort and obviously the episodes became longer after 41 as well, which would have helped as well with that. But taking that into consideration, there was a lot of people in this season that still had confessionals every single episode, but that number drastically went down with people like Rick Devons, Jonathan, and Sie now added to the zero confessionals.

37:18 Do you think that it has an impact this season? you know, with obviously Rick Deans, big character, not getting a single, we didn't check in with him this episode. We didn't check in with Cirie. probably the biggest shock of all of them. >> Yeah, I mean that's an interesting stat. I hadn't known too much about that. It is one thing to note that yes, the pattern can sort of go through for eight season, but we haven't had an all-star season in that time. So, if there's any time for that pattern to break, it would be an all-star season. So, I wouldn't necessarily count out I wouldn't count out Rick Devens yet. I wouldn't count out Si yet. who else was who was the third one that >> Jonathan? Oh, Jonathan. I don't think Jonathan's winning. Like, we haven't seen enough of Jonathan to be honest. And I feel like if we had if he's going to win, I feel like we would probably would have seen a little bit more of him. unfortunately, I like Jonathan, but I wish I wish we can see more of him, but he hasn't even he hasn't even gone to tribal council.

38:14 These people haven't gone to tribal council. And I honestly I detest the idea that they always try to force the disaster tribe and then there's just one tribe always goes to tribal council because they take away the flavor. It's like just level the playing field each time or >> I don't know like game designwise please make the game a little bit more fair in my opinion. Maybe change up the community challenges a little bit more. Give people a little bit more food even if they lose or like let them keep the fire. Like I'm not interested in that if they like honestly it would be a and this is an indictment. It would probably be a better game if they just flipped a coin to see who won immunity to be honest because then you don't have to worry too much about oh you know like you know physical challenges but that's just me because I want to see the strategy rather than see the challenges and seeing just our disaster tribe happen over and over again.

39:05 It was good once. It was good in the Philippines. I don't need to see it again. >> Yeah. >> Yeah. We want more balanced tribes. We want more balanced tribes. who want balance like otherwise you're just focusing on one tribe and you don't know the dynamics of the other tribe. You don't know what's going on when they go into the merge. I don't like steam rolls either. other players that have had zero confessionals this season as Tiffany I think we can count her out. I don't see her winning like this there's no story. We would have known >> four episodes. Yeah. >> Yeah. >> She might get another person >> Chrissy is another person that's had zero confessionals but she's picked it up. It was episode two where she had no confessionals. Stephanie had no confessionals as well in episode two. Angelina episode two had no confessionals. who else do we have? Camila, no confessionals at this stage. I think a lot of those plays probably they are kind of in no man's land at this stage. I would say out of them, Chrissy and Stephanie probably has the stronger story arcs at this stage where at least we know what's going on in their game.

40:02 I think there's probably about half the cast probably ruled out in terms of like an edging point of view of being real and you kind of know who those people are and you kind of like for me I've got maybe like a top five of people that I think are probably going to win. and it's going to be and then there's like two or three may, you know, like a coach is like a maybe, you know, or Jonathan is like a maybe. Like I haven't I don't know. He's probably out there actually. But then it's like then you've got like big characters like Ozzy. I can see Ozzy winning. That would actually be a really good sort of you know, Christian obviously is a high winner candidate. Genevieve high winner candidate. maybe not I just feel like this season >> I just feel like this season is primed for someone to win it that we don't expect. Like I think Christian flying too high too fast will get his wings will get clipped at some stage.

40:56 Like they're getting everything they can season. Yeah. >> Yeah. They're getting everything they can out of him right now. Like he's the he's like the power player early in the season. And then if you look at Ozzy like Christian and Ozzy are by far like leading the confessional. So Christian's got 29, Aussiey's got 25, right? And then the next player after that was a tie between Genevieve and Mike at 17 and Mike's already gone like so you know he so that's that opens it up and then you have to go all the way down to Rick Devens with 14 confessionals coach is sitting at 13 right so there's such a big gap between those players but again it's because Christian and Ozzy has gone to every single tribal council we've had to check in with them a lot and we've had to understand what their thinking is and what's happening in those tribes So, an interesting one for me was like I've still got my eyes on Colby as well.

41:46 He's just gets confessionals every single episode. Like even this episode, there was like two throwaway confessionals about the show and his growth and how he looks at life and like I know Jeff and him are friends. Maybe that's why he's getting it, but it's confusing. Like, why are we checking in with him every single episode? >> Yeah. He hasn't been relevant at all. Like relevant in the game at all. Like I mean you saw very strong content with him and Rizo. Like that was that seemed that seemed obviously they're going to put that in because that's like a legacy type of thing. >> Yeah. >> But it just seemed like if that was going to be the story of Kobe this season and he ends up winning >> that is actually a pretty that might be the primer of like an unexpected winner that they're setting them up for because Kobe actually goes pretty far each time he plays except for I guess Australian sorry Allstars but like heroes versus villains. He was like the last hero remaining.

42:37 He's not a bad player. Like he's actually >> Yeah, he's very he's actually a pretty good player. So this might opportunity to sort of show that and sort of like this is the legacy. I mean if it's going to be the legacy season, who better than Colby to win? >> I agree. I mean, and if it's going to be the redemption season because the first time we played >> second place, >> I guess Scott says Si. Si is probably >> would be the Yeah, she would be the ultimate obviously. But yeah, interesting season. I love how it's being sort of how it's evolving at this stage. Let's see what people are saying here. Jay saying, "But Survivor 50 would be the perfect season to subvert our expectations since we would at least expect it with 50 and make it so that there is a winner with an episode where they didn't have an confessional." And especially, you know, I think Dolores also agreed with you in your in your statement here with a returning season probably being the outlier season.

43:32 We know all these players. It's not like they have to show us who they are, what their history is in the game. And I love it. Like even when they do the content where they show previous seasons. This is why returning seasons with storylines that span over multiple seasons are so appetizing. It's so fun to watch and see it play out, the dynamics, the rivalries. You know, >> there's also there's also a very old theory around Australian it's not Australian survive Australia, Survivor 2, about the theory of the dog that didn't bark, which was Tina, who didn't get a confession on the first episode. and that was their way of sort of subverting the expectations. I mean, that was 25 years ago, but they could probably do that again. It's like, okay, well, let's try to subvert expectations here a little bit here. And you look at it, look at Genevieve in her season. She we didn't see her in the first four episodes. She was a massive player. >> So, the same thing could probably happen sort of as soon as some people start to go to tribal council, they haven't already, which is like a majority of the cast.

44:30 So, we can't make any assumptions right now. I feel because it's this is the sub subversive season to be honest. >> Yeah. Danica here says Stephanie seems to always be on a disaster tribe. It seems to be Stephanie's she's damned. She's this is a storyline on Survivors. She just can't escape it. yeah maybe u gravedigger James was right all along. You know she is the kryptonite and they have to get rid of her to win some challenges. and then Scott here says I want Cirie to finally win but I have a hard time believing it'll happen. I don't think Cirie's winning. I'll put it out there. I just think she doesn't have poverty with her this season. She doesn't have that ride or die that's willing to like fall on the sword for her this season. >> She has she has Ozzy. She does have >> Ozzy potentially. >> Yeah, Ozzy probably to be honest, Ozzy is pretty honorable. >> Ozzy would probably do it, but it's just >> he brings other talent. He brings other talents to the table with his >> I he I feel like he is uniquely flexible for Ser.

45:26 I don't think there's been anyone else on the season that has shown the loyalty that ironically the loyalty that Cirie has shown him and he wants to do the same thing. And >> there was a reason why we saw that early on because it feels like and Oussie are going to make it to the merge and get a work. They're going to be a very powerful duo together >> for sure. So she can she can make it far again. Yeah, >> she makes it fire every like most like the only time she got taken out early was when JT sniped her. And again, like I said, >> probably makes that move even more impressive. in hindsight when you look at it now like he was the one person who saw the threat early on and funny enough Colby was in on that vote. >> Yeah. Yeah. >> So it be interesting to see >> that story might come back. >> Yeah. It be interesting to see if there's going to be any history. I don't think he drove the vote. He wasn't the one that was like pushing it but he did vote out. So >> yeah my hot tape it was Tom. It was Tom. Like I think it was Tom's legacy that sort of went after villains there.

46:20 >> Yeah. Very true. And he played the idol right Tom if I can remember correctly on that episode. >> I think Yeah. Yeah, I think he was he was the one that drove it. He was the one that came up with the plan. And it's kind of interesting that Stephanie's on this season this season. I want to see if Stephanie brings any of those lessons into this season. Could be interesting. >> Yeah. so Scott saying, "I think Cirie's more likable to help Ozzy to get to the end. Are more likely to help Ozzy get to the end than the other way around." Potentially. Potentially, because Si still has to win at the end, right? She needs someone to either take her or she needs to win at the end. Well, he did give her an extra vote already, so that he's already helped her. Yeah. >> Yeah. Dolores saying, "You know, D is my girl, but when she said about getting Cirie, I was already I was ready to disown her." yeah. So, D obviously like I've got a feeling D's story is going to be she didn't take the shot when she could have.

47:12 And maybe that's going to be the story line there. And I like D. I still like D. I think she's a great player. I love it when these powerhouse players from different eras go up against each other and we get to see the see it all play out. let's have a look at the draft, Andre. I know you don't really want to have a look at this, but we have to we have to have a look at it. So, it's been a tough old start for you on this season with Mike White, the fifth person in a row to be removed from your draft. You now have Christian Genevie that we're very fearful for that she might get idled out in this next episode. And Rick Devens, Andre, who would have seen this coming? Yeah. I mean, this is what I get for shit-talking the TNT community, I guess. You know? >> Yeah. >> I don't know. I feel like it's for me it's a boom or bust type of situation.

48:03 It's either Christian will win or he won't. Like I don't I just don't see any other like I don't like Devon, I guess, could still win and obviously Genevie could still win, but I feel like Genevieve she has a lot of things going against her. She's got her rivalry with Aubry who has an idol. then again, she does have the storyline with Rizo, so you know, they she might get the idol back. So, yeah, I think I think Christian's probably still probably in the best position to win. I'm not just saying that because it's my draft pick, but I think that it's his it is his season so far. and it's either he'll win or he'll lose essentially. >> Yeah. Yeah. It's a tough one. I mean again we look at it every week and we say who are the players that are in danger of each of these tribes and obviously Genevieve I think most likely and I think I can see a world where Christian could get sniped in the next one.

48:58 I hope for your sake it doesn't happen because if that happens I think it's going to be a tough one for you to watch the rest of the season but maybe you know sometime >> it'll be fun either way. Yeah, it'll be it'll be a showdown between the OG nullified take podcaster and the community in that case. But you know, we've got my team there obviously Aubry I think she's aware enough to play idol. I don't think there's any world she doesn't play her idol if they go to tribal council. She knows >> there is there any world that she wins is my question. >> Well, in some ways if she wins it would be the best outcome for this draft. And why I say that is because she literally wasn't chosen. She fell to me as the last pick. It would be like, you know, when we watched Winners at Wall and there was so many drafts that people did for Winners at War and no one wanted to pick Tony. Tony was like right at the bottom of everybody's draft.

49:48 Everybody was saying, "We saw what he did in game changers. He's not going to be able Lightning doesn't strike twice. We're not going to see Tony win again." you know, so it'll be a very similar scenario with Aubry being the last person that fell to me. I would still take the win, you know, and I'll be like, "Thank you team for helping me get her in my drive." But there's a world she wins in. Definitely. I don't think it's impossible. She's been relevant every single episode. And we've got to ask ourselves the question why. So, I can see her winning. I don't see her winning where she's in a current position because she'll like to your point, she needs to change her outlook on the game or get some alliance members and have a more social game. Like I don't feel like she's got people around. >> If your biggest If your biggest partner in the game barely gets a confessional, what does that say about your game? What does it say about your longevity of your game? >> Conversely, if you're Genevieve, who is Genevie's, I guess, top alliance member or Rizo?

50:45 Even though she wants to vote out Rizo, but she wants to vote out Rizo at the endame, right? >> We've seen a lot of Colby and with Stephanie. >> Yeah. >> Yeah. Yeah. Exactly. Right. So, it's like if I'm looking at the positions of Aubry on an edit point of view versus Genevieve on an edit point of view, I think I'm going for Genevieve. I don't know, maybe that's just me. I know that a lot Aubry has a lot of and we were like, that's how we how we started this podcast. You know, who's going to be the winner here? And I think that's the story line that I have my most eyes on. >> Or the story line could be setting us up for Genevie's got all the power. She's playing the bitter game and she gets sniped. >> That's a possibility sniper. Yeah. Yeah. But it wouldn't be the first time like something like that has happened in Survivor. Like, you know, I think it's possible. And yeah, Angelina, I don't know. Like I neither here or there on her.

51:35 I think she could be in danger next episode. But the rest of my tribe, I feel like pretty solid like at this stage. Like Stephanie seems to be someone everybody wants to work with. Ozzy, I don't think they're gunning for Ozzy. Like can you really afford to lose Ozzy at this stage? You don't know how long it's going to take before the merge. I think you need a strength still in that tribe and I don't think Christian or Emilyy's going to go for him in the next episode. >> Col's in a like the big problem for me is I've got didn't know like you know this is how we don't know these things before we pick players. I don't know that I was going to have three players from the same main alliance and Joe coach and Colby. So if that alliance goes down my game's going in flames pretty quickly. and it's a high possibility that could happen. >> Yeah. Me. >> Yeah. Well, yeah. I'll take I'll take my position at the moment. I've still got some players in the game. TNT community, they've got the big showdown between Rizo and Charlie, so they seem almost destined to lose a player at least in the next in the next round.

52:31 Like I haven't sort of taken stabs at the community for a while here, but I feel like that's probably where it's going to go in that tribe. And then >> Camila and Tiff kind of non-relevant at the moment. I don't think I think that them not being relevant probably means they're safe at this stage. Like I just don't see >> Yeah, they're not going to win. They're not going to come close to winning. Yeah. >> Yeah. But again, those points of getting a point every time your player survives is helping >> massively and we'll talk about the points very soon, but that has a massive impact. Every episode, they still get that full eight points every single time their players survive in the game. So, and Emily, I don't know, like Emily, fun to watch. Fun to watch, but I don't think >> she proved why she was the second last person to be drafted. >> Yes. Yes. >> Because none of us knew where to put her. Like we didn't think she was going to be the strategic mastermind of this season, but she's definitely an agent of chaos, >> which we want in a season.

53:23 We want the crazy person that goes out and just spills the beans so we can see interesting like good strategists try to play around her. >> And well, we also did the we also were doing the same thing about Joe, right? Joe's kind of like the type person with loose lips or not loose lips but you know loyalty, integrity and he has to tell somebody and people have to play around it. So you kind of want players like that to make it a little bit more spicy. >> Yeah, bloody money welcome back to the live channel saying, "Yo, Chris, what's up? Am I late?" we are getting towards the pointy end of this podcast, but you know if you've got any observations, questions, things you want to ask, throw it in there before we end the live. and always go back and have a look at the rest of the live podcast. I think we did cover a lot of ground here today.

54:15 Saying, "Well, I'm here to say hi." yeah, well, welcome. I think Rizo could go since he won't play the idol. I think Rizo, it's possible. Like, does he get That's the question here, Andre. Does Rizo get cocky and confident and not play his idol? Like hopefully he's big enough of a fan to know that these players aren't going to be playing around with him. Like >> I have two questions. The first question is does Rizo know that he's been gunned for by Charlie? And I think that's a yes from the previews. The second one, does Rizo think he has the numbers to beat out Charlie? If those two are yes, then I think that Rizo can win because Rizo can either play the idol or he can I if people fool him and they say, "Oh, we're on your side, Rizo." And who's on his who's on his tribe? Like what is it? Si's tribe and >> Jonathan D.

55:11 >> Yeah. >> Yeah. I just think that the Charlie Rizo sideshow is kind of like a >> Charlie's there with a bunch of people from his previous tribe. I think there's like four of the previous tribe there. So, he's got three allies. So, I feel like Rizo's outnumbered in that tribe. >> Yeah. And I think that story line is actually going to come to a head faster than the three D story line, right? Because we didn't hear anything about those two. Like this might be a or this could be a long term. This could be like Charlie and Rizo kind of hate each other. they'll kind of try to get to sort of middle of merge together and you know that will be sort of the big payoff to this massive long-term rivalry because we've seen that in the past in Survival. We've seen rivals at the start to the very beginning of the season or at the at the swap and they last all the way until like the end of the sort of the end of the merge or like at the end game.

56:03 I think it's more of an Australian Survivor thing, but this happened in US Survivor a lot. Christian here saying Rizo Genevieve Chrissy and Christian could be voted out. so going a little bit in a different direction to us and specifically Chrissy's name, we haven't mentioned her much. I don't think Chrissy's going anywhere. I just don't think that story line's ending as of yet. >> But if that does at the moment, we're kind of banking on that tribe winning out. But if they do go, I think Aubry Genevieve is the most likely. That's what this the edit's telling us that >> Chrissy has had the weirdest Yeah, Chrissy has had the weirdest edit. I don't not know what to make of her edit because she's disappeared, but she's been pretty she's been pretty like >> shown when she shouldn't have been shown for the last three episodes and then I guess we saw her at the Zack Brown >> redemption.

56:54 It's redemption for her as well. Like she wasn't liked in her first season. She's had growth and things she's gone through in her personal life outside of the game. She's coming back now. She wants to change the narrative, you know. So, I think that's a redemption arc there. And I just think Chrissy and Coach, >> they work together with the boys. I think she slots in with Genevieve. I just don't see it. And I think she's not going to get targeted by Aubry at this stage. Sort of how I think about that tribe. but yeah, what a what a sort of episode. And let's have a look here at the points. I'll quickly do a little update here as to where we're tracking. probably shouldn't come as a surprise to you for this episode, but you only had Genevieve win outright in a in an immunity challenge with her tribe. You had her also find another idol, which gave you some points. And then you had three players survive, each giving you one point for a total here this week of let's have a look.

57:49 So, six I have the minus five. So, you've got seven points. that minus five really hurting at the end on this week. Then the second place for TNT Community this week is going to is going to be sorry TNT community is going to be in second place for this week with 14 points. They had a full house when it comes to people surviving. They had two players win immunity outright and Chrissy and Tiff who got them three points each. So total of 14 points for that tribe. And then the highest points this week is going to be to myself with 20 points here. a full house on all of the people that survived. And then Coach Colby, Joe, and Aubry all winning outright immunity, giving me three points each, which was the big the big one. When it came to a big game move being made this week, I did give Christian the three points there. So, you got that three points.

58:40 I don't know if there's anybody else we should really credit. I feel like he was the one who kind of drove the strategy specifically in this episode. And I don't know if anybody said anything iconic or if there was any meltdown. I think Emily was close to a meltdown, but she didn't have one because Christian kind of kept her in line. >> Did Christian have a meltdown? >> Oo. Does it count as a meltdown when you have Yeah, it's kind of like an emotional breakdown. >> Yeah. Well, I think it was a I don't know if that was a meltdown, but that was the closest thing to one. >> Yeah. Yeah, it's a fair point. that's a fair point. >> Community What does the community think? >> I think that's losing points, right? >> Said anything. >> Yeah, you're like scrapping. I think he's scrapping for those points right now. What does the community think? Do we give Christian meltdown points for his meltdown >> in front of the camera at least? >> It wasn't in front of the tribe, but it should count in my mind.

59:31 Even if it was in front of the camera, >> it's like a breakdown. >> I'm feeling I'm feeling generous. I'll give you the points for that one. I reckon you get it. So, we'll give you the two bonus points for a meltdown. Put you up to nine points. So, in total for the season in third place so far, you're sitting on 45 points. second place and first place only six points divided between those two. We've got TNT community on 70 points and we've got myself on 76 points. That's where >> even if I get the winner, I still can't win. >> Yeah. Yeah. It's tough because the win we agreed to like 20 points on the win. >> Yeah, it's personally this makes the draft more interesting and more fun. Like when you when you when you have one outright winner, I know you can keep somebody in it longer, but it makes there's more consequences.

1:00:22 You have got to try and pick people that you think are going to survive that are going to do certain things in the game that gives you a bit of points. and we're trying a new a little bit of a new point structure here. We're not going on confessionals like we sometimes used to do. The I tell you what, the confessionals are up so quickly these days. They're doing it so quickly that next season if we do this again, we probably will include confessionals because I feel like by the time that I come to do the podcast, it's all there. So, I can very easily add it. previously. Sometimes it would be too late. You do the podcast. >> Put it into AI. Just >> put it into AI. Yeah. >> >> Danica saying, "Poor Andre, he needs a mid-season shake up with the draft." Like a tribe swap. >> This is the redemption arc. This is my redemption arc, you know. >> Yeah. >> This is my Aubry arc. >> Your Aubry arc. Or, you know, you come in, you know, this one you go out early next season, you might win it all. Who knows? >> Yeah. Deon Devon starts to do quotes. You know, Christian continues being Christian.

1:01:15 Devon's Christian final two. Boom. >> Get at the end. Who knows? >> Mate, it's been fun. It's been so fun talking to the live audience, going over all of episode 4. I don't think we've got anything else left to talk about here. So, for those that are jumping in late, please go back and watch the live from the start. Put a like on this video.
