Survivor 50 | Episode 3 | Recap

Podcast episode · 14 Mar 2026 · 1 hr 3 min

Episode summary

Chris and Andre call Survivor 50 episode 3 their favourite so far. They start with Christian Hubicki and Rick Devens telling their alliance that Devens found the idol, which they read as Christian using Devens as a shield. Emily then learns the news after the swap and spills it to Ozzy, Stephanie and Q. They think she overplayed her hand and could have asked Christian first. Q goes out because he has no vote, and they go through why he told people to vote for him, what he could have tried with Ozzy’s boomerang idol, and whether the shot in the dark is a good twist. They also talk about Chrissy’s backstory and Coach’s advice to her, the honor alliance of Coach, Colby and Joe, Rizo’s lie about Savannah and Charlie’s old wound over Maria. They finish by sizing up each swap tribe, saying Angelina is a letdown and Mike White has been a good pick, and tallying the draft: Chris and the TNT community on 56, Andre on 36.

0:00 [music] [music] [music] [music] [music] [music] >> Hello everyone.

0:56 We're back to Nullified Take channel to talk about episode three, Survivor 50. It's early in the morning over here in Australia, but wherever you are in the world, I hope you're having a great evening morning, if you're watching this later on and boy oh boy, do we have an episode to talk about, Andre? episode three, Survivor 50, it keeps delivering. Oh yeah, absolutely. I thought it might have like started to slow down, bit of a lull, but it hasn't. It's actually This has been my favorite episode so far cuz you've actually been able to see more interactions rather than just people that are on the original tribe. So, I've been super excited this season. Yeah, it's been it's been a great season of Survivor 50. we've got a great live audience here. We've got Chris saying hello to everyone, saying Q went out in a way that only he could, RIP.

1:46 We'll talk about that. Angel Cake, welcome Drew to the channel saying, "Hey everyone, you can vote for me. Please don't vote for Drew. He's too nice of a guy. don't do that to him." And then we've got Will Lloyd here saying hello Drew. Yes, Drew is in the channel. Danny saying hey everybody, greetings from Austria. Danny, so great to have you in a live. I know that normally the time schedule doesn't always work out and most of the time I see you in the comment sections after the videos have been dropped, but thank you for jumping into the live. Andre, where do we start on this episode? Where do we start? Let's talk about your two favorite characters this season. I feel like I know who they are. The [laughter] the dependent brothers, you know, Christian and Devens. Lots and lots of immunity idols. >> I was going to put Q in there as well. I was like, where are we going here? >> [laughter] >> Oh no, I thought I thought Devens and Christian, they both in your draft aren't they both in your draft?

2:40 Yeah, they're the ones. They're holding the torch. It's been a It's been a rough start for those people who have not been following. I don't We're bringing it up to >> run, yeah. It's an historic I think it's another fire take. First, we've got >> [laughter] >> Somebody had to like rip the band-aid, but four people out back-to-back from your draft. You've got You've got Christian and Drew. And I would say to a certain degree, you've got a pretty solid team right now. Mike White also looking pretty solid. >> Yeah. Heavily on the David versus Goliath alliance for you now. That's going to be the alliance that you're going to have to shout for, but I wanted to talk a little bit about Christian and Devens and in this early stages of this episode, the strategy to bring their alliance members into the fold when it comes to the idol. What was your thoughts in regards to everything that happened?

3:32 It was a good idea. I don't know why them telling the alliance that Devens found the idol is good for Devens. I don't know why he would agree to that, but that's the way he's playing. He's like, I don't care. I will just do what I just I want to be the character this season. It's really good for Christian because if they tell if they're if they're alliance, you know, and it does spread around that Aubry has the idol and Aubry gets voted off, they're going to think that Devens has the idol, but actually Christian has the idol. So, that is actually quite cuz knowledge is power in this game and if only Devens and Christian knows that Christian is the one with the idol, that gives them more power. So, I can see why Devens did that for that particular reason. I thought it was a savvy move, but the way that they did it by you know, I found it a little bit strange they just told Cirie up front rather than trying to get them all in a room together.

4:25 And then Christian on the map telling Emily that's another I think that was a that was a pretty big blunder by Christian to be a Yeah, I don't know why >> not watch her Did he not watch her season? Like we know like this is the Emily we know from her original season coming out. Actually the Like episode one and two, yeah. Yeah. And I think that again, it's so easy sitting here in the comfort of our home to judge these players and how they play the strategy in the moment. It's a lot harder to make the right decisions, right? But Emily obviously, you know, some insecurities coming out from this and who can blame her because she's swapped into a tribe ultimately with three people from David vs. Goliath. Suddenly she becomes the Well, am I as still as important to you Christian as I was before the swap? So, some interesting things happening there. I do want to talk a little bit about the strategy from Christian here cuz I thought both Devens and Christian they're playing really well together, but Christian is kind of outplaying Devens I feel like at this stage a little bit because whose advantage is it really for people to think that Devens was the one who found the idol?

5:28 It's Christian's and he did it in such a subtle way. He played into to Devens' ego a little bit I think here as well because Devens is the idol hunter and he wants to be known as the idol hunter. That's something that his legacy is built on. So, he's like, "Of course I'm the idol hunter. Of course I'm going to take the bullets for you here." But I feel like Christian kind of one up'd him a little here in this moment. Still obviously wanting to work with Devens, but like you said, he's kind of using Devens as a shield, isn't he? Yeah, and we can see why Devens in his original season was such a target and why he targeted basically himself very early on cuz it's the play that he is. He's a kind of like a go big or go home type of player where most of the time he's going to get targeted before he can even get to the end. because he takes shots like this. You know, he take both does the shooting and one that does take the shots. And usually in the past that's worked out for him because he's had idols. He's been able to protect himself.

6:18 Does he have an idol this season? I don't think so. so he's going to be he's going to be in trouble if they start to target him. If they say, "Oh, I know where we got out we got Aubry and now we need to get out Devens and then Devens won't be able to protect himself except for a fake idol that he planted." Which actually might work. so >> I think it could save him one round. One round, yeah. So but he I feel [laughter] like he's pretty good at challenges but you know, if you need to get through Ozzy I don't I don't like his chances that much but you know, he's definitely going to get a third a third call. That's that there's no doubt about it after this season. He's locked it in. Did you hear the rumor cuz I haven't had much time this week. It's been a really busy week for me and I think I've got Chris here asking if I'm under the weather. I don't think so. I think my voice in the morning is always a little bit lower when I wake up. It's been a big week though.

7:09 For those people who don't know, I work in the travel industry and it's not like the whole world isn't sort of going crazy at the moment with travel through Doha and Dubai not working and things like that. So I've been working around the clock to try and get something sorted for customers and clients of mine. So that they can reroute to get to Europe. so it's been some long hours and maybe that's what sort of what you're hearing in my voice coming into a early Saturday morning here. But It's early. I heard a I heard a rumor Andre. I was I was online. I was I was looking around. They say that Devens was an alternate for this season. He wasn't on the season originally. And I'm like, that's crazy, isn't it? Like, I mean, he's been one of the main characters, him and Christian, this season. And you just mentioned he's guaranteeing his spot for a third callback. Like, who possibly could have been ahead of him?

7:59 I think I think they said it was because Savannah and Rizo wasn't originally meant to be on the season. But then they decided >> I know that Andy was originally cast on the season. Andy and someone else and Maryanne. So, Rizo took Andy's spot and Savannah took Maryanne's spot. It didn't make sense because Savannah's a winner, too. So, I don't know who Devens would have replaced. Who's a bigger character than Devens? But I mean, Devens is a bigger character than most like Jonathan, to be honest. Bigger character than most people on the on the season. I think it there must have been some sort of consideration there. Like, maybe he was because he was on the On Fire podcast or something like that. >> Yeah. Maybe he was a little bit too involved in production. They're like, "No, we can't have Devens on." But they're like, "No, we have to have Devens on. Let's just boot I don't know who someone from I don't know the maybe like Dom or something. Who knows? Who else was in contention?

8:49 All I'm going to say is whoever wanted to make the decision to put Devens as an alternate should get fired. Like, you know, [laughter] they should not have a job next season for the next All Star season. Chris is saying, "vaguely remember Andre talking about us last week. Our team audience is going to lose someone, Andre." >> It's going to happen. It's going to happen eventually. >> [laughter] >> Maybe in episode eight. For your for your reference, Chris takes notes. >> [laughter] >> Normally I'm on Normally I'm on the other side of these burns. Andrew Savage saying, "Christian may be one of my favorite Survivor personalities of all time." I think yours, Drew, and a lot of other people's. Like, I mean, an- another person who's just I mean, I remember liking Christian in his original season. I really enjoyed him. But I don't remember liking him this much. Like, I feel like he's even more likable this season. Like if it if it's possible, you know.

9:42 Very good performance so far. Danny's saying love Devens and Christian basically creating their own twist in the game. Completely true. I also do not get the benefit of saying Rick found or send an idol. Yeah, it's only benefiting Christian at this stage. It does It does benefit those two in the sense that they're the only two with the information that it actually was Christian, which actually it makes sense because if you know who had I guess Ken some This is my question with the Billie Eilish boomerang idol. we know that the boomerang idol can't be played if you're given it you can't be played for someone else. Does the same concept apply if it boomerangs back? So can the person that receives the boomerang again, can they play it on someone else? Because if they can't play it on someone else and everybody knows that actually becomes a massive a massive advantage.

10:34 Yes. I think from memory and again, I don't know why I'm so confident about this because I've watched most of the episodes only one time. I feel like I remember them saying that when it comes back to you it becomes a full-fledged idol that you can use until the final five. That's how I read it and I think it makes sense. You take massive risk to give it to someone in the hope that they're going to get voted out. Surely it's not going to be an underpowered idol by the time that it comes back to you. And remember the vote the fans voted for the twists this season to be more powerful than ever if you remember that. They said it that needed to be at the at the highest power level. So I don't feel like it's kind of lived up to what the fans have wanted. I don't think we've got overpowered advantages in the game, but I'm not totally hating it either. We don't really need them. >> Yeah, if that's the case then I actually don't see the point of saying that Devens is the one that found the idol cuz they could just give it to each other.

11:27 Like it's that part doesn't really become an advantage at that stage. If it If there was a limitation, there was no limitation, then that becomes a huge advantage cuz they're just going to be targeting Christian and Christian be like, "No, sorry. I've got an idol." And they're like, "Oh, wow." That would have been a much better sort of like situation for in that in that case. Rowan, welcome to the live for saying here, I heard that Devens made up the numbers to make the tribes even after Savannah and Rizzos added. This is the rumor I heard as well online that he was not supposed to be on, but then when they added both Devens sorry, Savannah and Rizo, he was there to equal out the numbers, which to me is crazy. And I And I hear someone earlier said here that there's 700 players. Danny said 700 players. There's so many great personalities they can choose from. Obviously, it's a it's a tough choice and some great other personalities didn't make it, but the fact that Devens like that we've got players coming back for their fifth time.

12:18 Devens is only coming back for the second time. Like surely he I Like I mean, Ozzy, no shade, he's actually been better and more entertaining than what I thought he would be this season, but Devens to me, I would have put him ahead of Ozzy for instance just cuz we haven't seen him play a second time, similar to Christian. You know, there's some players who deserve that spot, but let's talk about that information dropped on the mat. Emily goes into this new tribe. Emily kind of goes into her original season mode, those first couple of episodes. How much damage did she do to her own game and Christian's game in this moment? Like I'm kind of curious. Do you think cuz you've been very confident and I would have agreed with you that it up until this point Christian may have been playing the best game so far. How much damage is this doing to both of their games moving forward? A definite setback. I think that Christian did move Well, Christian set the ball rolling.

13:12 And I think maybe he made it he made it obviously the Christian's a very cerebral guy. He thinks things through. This was clearly him being you know, sidetracked and sort of like this is something he did off cuff. which is out of Christian's personality, but I think, you know, people like that tend to make bad decisions in the moment if they if they overthink things. Emily, I like I liked her the first couple of episodes, but then this episode she just seemed all over the place. It reminded me I did I hated Emily in the first couple of episodes of her original season. I'm like, I can't >> Emily let's clarify. Emily the character, we don't know her as a person. I'm sure she's lovely outside of the game. >> Yeah. And in only the first I like I liked her by the end, but like the first like episode or two and the first five minutes I'm like, yeah, I don't I don't need this on my on my TV screen.

14:07 But she grew on me and it kind of felt like she took a step back in a way like she regressed a little bit. I don't blame her. I can understand that, you know, when you get put into a the situation and, you know, you're being dropped this bomb like, why didn't they tell me what's going on here? Yeah. I get it. I get it. But I just feel like she just did too much. Emily is that kind of player that would be exhausting to play Survivor with. I feel like you would need to always sort of make her feel comfortable, make sure she's in the know, you know, like you'll have to put a lot of work in for her to be comfortable because as soon as she feels like she's on the outs, that's what happened in her original season in that tribe. She causes chaos, which is great from a TV perspective. Let's be honest, looking at it now you're like, okay, it's great because Q's gone, we need another agent of chaos and she could fill that void, right? and in her original season I forgot the player she played with was a Kyle who's that a Caleb.

15:00 Caleb was the person like if you think about it, as soon as he swooped in and said, "Hey, I got you. Calm down." She started relaxing in the game. And I think she thought Christian was going to be that for her this season potentially. And she felt very betrayed by the fact that she didn't know about the information prior to the swap. And she didn't really think to talk it through with Christian before going full kamikaze on it divulging all the information to Ozzy, to Steph, and also to Q, who obviously Q coming into this merge or swap at this point was really screwed, didn't have a vote. So, I don't like the whole fact that he didn't have a vote. And then obviously he had no like a lot of people are taking swings at Q for saying, "Hey, vote for me." But Q explained this and I think Q explained it quite well in his after interviews, like afterwards with people with the exit press.

15:54 He said that when Steph's name was called, she said, "I'm playing my shot in the dark." She was scared. And you could see it in the edit as well. She was She was spooked by Mike saying, "I'm voting for you." So, he, as someone that didn't have a vote, couldn't play the shot in the dark. He doesn't have a right to vote or shot in the dark because you can only sacrifice if you don't have a vote to sacrifice, you can't play shot in the dark. So, his only move in this moment was to say "Vote for me." So, Steph would feel calm enough to try and vote so that he would have the numbers to potentially snipe out someone from the other alliance. So, there was a lot more thinking going on here than what we think. We think that our Q's a goofy character and he's saying vote for me and then he gets voted out. And that's what the edit wanted us to believe. but I think Q's a great player, Andre. And I'm sad to see him go this early in the game. Do you think he's done enough to get that return ticket for the next All-Stars season?

16:44 I think he has, for sure. If you were to pick out one character, not maybe not a player but character of the new season, I would still choose Q. and it's interesting what you said about the shot cuz I forgot the shot in the dark even existed this season. I don't It's one of those things that you just don't But surely if you were Q if you knew if you knew that everyone was against you and Stephanie were kind of on an island you would almost try to spook Stephanie in a way or keep her spooked so she would play her shot in the dark so there is a chance that you both can stay until the next round. Right? so in that in that case like I think but then again maybe he's just a loyal like you know he was like a loyalty type of player. He was an old school this season wasn't he? >> Yeah. Yeah. Yeah so I can see why he would have thrown an you know thrown the grenade or at least tried to take the numbers by force.

17:37 Just didn't work out and you know that's what you want in a player. You want in a player somebody that will take a take a swing. You know they might they might miss but at least they took a swing and they're not like trying to think of the best Mitch from 48 that will always make a move but never did. You want you want somebody that will make a move and then will try to take control and they were put in a bad situation on that on that tribe without a vote and to be you know with David versus Goliath threesome. It's like that's a no win situation. The best they could have hoped for is maybe a 3-3 and even then it's like you're put in a bit of bad situation. Well one thing that does excite me with Q going and I'm sad that Q's going cuz Q's probably I feel like this season kind of solidified it for me. He's one of my favorite new school players and I'd love to see him come back because I think every time Q comes you know we're going to see a different side. I feel like he's one of those players that mixes it up. This season he almost played like an old school type of way you know work at camp and he seems like he's like a chameleon a shapeshifter.

18:35 He can fit in with a lot of different people but obviously just he didn't have options didn't have numbers. You can't fight against these pre-existing relationships that's existed for years with the David versus Goliath people. >> There was one thing I think they could have done. One thing. >> Yeah. And I think that so Ozzy has a boomerang idol. Ozzy knows it is boomerang idol. Q told him what the terms were. He might have felt look I mean if I get voted out with this it's kind of useless. It goes to Genevieve. So what they could have done is they could have put a target on Ozzy's back on purpose. Try to get the David versus Goliath people to vote for Ozzy. Say he's a threat whatever. Throw him under the bus, but really covertly, you know that Ozzy will pay the idol that night. Then you convert out someone like Angelina or Mike White, right? That's Mhm. I mean, I don't know if they had like considered that option. I don't know if Ozzy would have even be okay with that, but that was something if they wanted to take the numbers and >> the threat, that could have been possible.

19:32 Or also, how much Mike White went to bat for Ozzy in this moment because we find out that Mike White has this relationship with Ozzy and they're mates outside of the game. Maybe that was just There's so much we don't see in the edit, which is unfortunate, but they've only got an hour every week to show us the episode. So, Chris is saying Emily had to be humanized a bit on that season. It was a disaster tribe, and it did a lot for her because we got to see a lot of her growth arc, obviously. Angel Kika says, "What frustrates me is Emily was swapped on a tribe with Christian. If she couldn't talk with him after the swap to understand what he was saying, then I can see her telling someone else then for exactly she absolutely overplayed her hand. Willie [clears throat] here saying, "Yeah, Emily been on the losing tribe on her season. She was very paranoid. But like you are at the same camp, get some clarification." I totally agree. Drew, definitely an overplay there.

20:23 I personally don't like it either. This is the shot in the dark, and I don't know I mean, I've kind of when the shot in the dark was first introduced, Andre, I absolutely hated the shot in the dark. I was like, "Oh, why do we have this in the game?" I don't think it's the worst of the new twists that they've brought in. One of the things I do like about the shot in the dark is that it is only a one out of six chance. You're taking a massive gamble. You have to sacrifice your vote in that moment, but what it does do for players that are on the outs and that they know they're on the outs and they're reading the vote, at least it gives them a chance to go out of the game saying, "I knew I was screwed. I didn't get blindsided. I tried to play something." So, in some ways, I'm not like I'm in here nor there with it, but I'm not a complete hater of the Shot in the Dark. I think that it sometimes brings interesting strategy to the front because people have to consider who's going to play it.

21:15 And you have to you have to really try and blindside people because you can't just say, "Hey, we're a group. You're screwed." You know, you've got to try and keep that under wraps. So, it basically evolves into more subtle gameplay sometimes. Yeah, I agree. I've actually always liked the Shot in the Dark and maybe hot take, but I would have actually preferred it to be like a one in three chance just so it's more likely to be played and you saw a little bit more chaos. maybe the new era sort of gameplay negates my theory there, but maybe it hasn't had a positive impact, but I think it's a good to have just in case kind of like a an extra element to the game. Yeah. this is this is tough. Drew saying Ozzy to Q's vote on Exile Island and then you proceeded to vote Q out with the vote. >> [laughter] >> yeah, it's cold. It's very cold. but I think Ozzy didn't really have much. What did you think of a lot of the talk is about this tribe cuz obviously they're the one that ultimately loses and a lot of the strategy is happening here on this side, but what did you think of Emily trying to build that bond that bridge with Ozzy cuz we've never really seen them communicate before, but she's looking for options.

22:23 Clearly knows that, "Hey, if this tribe goes to a few Tribal Councils in a row, she could be on the outs here." Steph obviously Stephanie would be on the bottom right now, but then Ozzy I would imagine is next and then Emily. So, do you think there is a world here where Emily potentially works with Ozzy and Stephanie even though Steph she didn't feel like she was a equal partner. And this is one thing we can criticize Q and Steph about, the fact that they were like, "Hey, we want to work with you." And she clearly looked like she was happy to flip, but they didn't really consider her thoughts, her views. You know, it's the classic 101. I always look at like I work in leadership at work. You know, some of the worst leaders that you have are the ones that tells you have to do things this way, you have to do it that way. They kind of dictate how things need to move instead of getting the consensus of people and making them feel like they're part of the Exactly. So what did you think of this dynamic firstly with Emily trying to build this bridge with Ozzy and then secondly, do you think there is a world where Stephanie, Ozzy, and Emily could come together cuz they kind of need to break up that David versus Goliath trio?

23:24 Yeah, I don't know exactly where that partnership came from, what the context is there. Was it Was Emily a fan? Well, that's what I got. I felt like Yeah, they didn't explain it. I felt like it was like Emily, you know, grew up watching Ozzy and wanted to be in alliance with Ozzy. That's how I read it, but there might be some something deeper there. Maybe they're friends from outside the game or something like that. Who knows? >> Maybe she likes Cirie. Maybe her and Cirie are tighter than what we've seen so far and she's like, "Oh, well, Ozzy's with Cirie. I want to continue to be with Cirie as well and have that side alliance going." Like we just would I don't fully understand it myself. Yeah. Well, and I mean, they were all in an alliance together, right? I'm not sure. What Yeah, I'm not I don't I don't >> alliance. Cirie was in an alliance with Christian, Devens, and Emily from what we could see in that original tribe.

24:15 But we didn't see a lot of Cirie and Emily, yeah, but we didn't see We didn't see Ozzy and That's what confused me because we didn't see any sort of like any anything from Emily and it kind of came out of left field. So to answer your question, I don't think so. I don't think at least those three. I think that Stephanie is on an island and this just seems like a marriage of convenience for now. Yeah. >> And something might happen in the future because it's like if it was an important relationship, I feel like we would have seen it earlier. Or we would have just like there would have been some sort of set up for it, but didn't seem like there was any set up whatsoever. Yeah. It was all It was all Cirie and Ozzy. Cirie and Ozzy. Cirie and Ozzy. And then Cirie somehow ended up in an alliance with Rick Devens for some reason, which was again a little strange. I didn't sort of see that happening, but Yeah. but yeah, I don't see that Another thing I didn't see happening at all was Christian losing a puzzle against the other few tribes.

25:07 Like what? [laughter] Cuz he can't yell. He can't he can't enunciate, you know? Yeah, he was too he was too far like he was probably the right person for the puzzle, but he was probably too far behind to even challenge. Who did he go up against? I think it was I think it was Kamilla. And not Jonathan oh, Chrissy. Chrissy. Yeah, Chrissy pulled it out. Well, like okay, moving on from that tribe. I feel like we've dived into quite a bit there with them. What did you think of Chrissy's sort of come out episode here this episode? Cuz you've been talking you've been on the Chrissy hunt. I feel like from episode one. You're like, what's happening with Chrissy? Why don't we see more of her? She's going to be a big player. I've been a bit more low on Chrissy. I've thought that the edit was showing us she potentially could be an early boot this season. She's not really connecting with anyone and then obviously it gets explained here this episode by coach taking aside saying, "Hey Chrissy, I need to I need to give you some advice and things that you need to do moving forward so you can integrate a little bit better." Which I don't want to talk about coach's move yet because I've got some thoughts about that as well.

26:06 But you know, if we focus on Chrissy, what was your thoughts on Chrissy this episode finding out some of the struggles and the things that she's gone through outside of the game. It was it was kind of heartbreaking. I it really I don't know. It hits it hit something with me. Yeah, absolutely. I think he's a she's a she is a long-term player because we haven't seen her go to Tribal Council. We've seen a lot of her relative to the rest of the tribe and we already see that growth arc coming. I'm not saying it just because she's on my team. Is she on my team? I think she's on my team. but I think she's going to have a very similar arc as she did in her original season that Lisa, I think Lisa from Philippines had as well. sort of that sort of you have a rough start, then you sort of you know, Holly from Nicaragua as well. You have sort of like a rough start. You kind of control the game in the middle, and then by the end you probably get cut or lose have become a losing finalist or something.

26:57 That's just the way that I see it happening. I see an echo of her original season there. So, I think she's going to be a pretty long-term player in my opinion. I don't think she's going to They don't have the hallmarks of the of the early boot, right? Cuz it's just going to be like they go to Tribal Council, she's out immediately. But, it just seems like and we can transition to Coach, but it seems like that's going to be a pretty strong alliance, like the honor alliance. Honor and integrity alliance. Yeah. Yeah. Drew here says, "I thought the same thing about Chrissy. I actually felt the edit was pushing her to be this week's boot before we heard about her story." I was on that exa- exact same drift. I thought she was out this week or very early on. Jay saying, "Yeah, that Chrissy story was tough to watch. I felt bad for her." Same. Like, felt really bad. The fact that she's had a tough go at it. She's had a tough go at it outside of the game as well and thank goodness she's a very resilient and strong woman who's back out there playing the game again.

27:49 Danny saying, "It's bit I'm on the side of the world, so I will catch the rest on the replay." Well, it was great to have you in here for a little bit. Go and enjoy your sleep and jump on the comment section afterwards and tell us your thoughts. and then Andrew K said, "Coach could have phrased his constructive criticism to Chrissy a little bit better." and says, "Coach has some full has come full circle. I remember when Tyson had to tell Coach to do the tai chi in private so people don't think less of him." And that's exactly I had that Chris exact thing on my mind when Coach took her aside to tell her this. I was like, "What a crazy world we live in where Coach had Tyson pull him aside in Heroes versus Villains to give him the talk, and now he's the one that pays it forward and gives the talk to Chrissy." I also read a little bit more into that though. If I was Chrissy, I don't think she's got options, and I do think she loves Coach and she'll work with him regardless, but I would have felt like, "Coach, why didn't you tell me this on the original tribe?

28:42 Why do you wait for me to be on another tribe? I was on the chopping block. I didn't know. You're supposed to be my guy. You're supposed to be someone that's working really closely with me. I would have felt a certain type of way and I thought that was her having her gold talk, going to the girls, having a bit of a vent about the whole situation, but she didn't, from what we saw, throw Coach under the bus. She wasn't angry at him or anything like that. So, I think that relationship will be okay and I think they'll be they'll be working together in the future. But, that alliance, how quickly that they come together, I from the start I knew Coach, Colby, and Joe would jive because, you know, Joe and Colby, they are the honor and integrity two players from their eras. And then Coach is the one who wants to play that way, but sometimes can be a little bit devious. But, obviously Joe and Colby, that they get along.

29:34 And also, Colby gets along with Coach, which a lot of people were wondering, what's the relationship like after Heroes vs. Villains with Coach kind of bested him in a couple of head-to-heads. And it looks like, you know, ultimately Colby to me is the person probably that's done the most growth. I almost feel like Coach as well, but Colby just seems like he's coming into this season with no ego. He's not holding grudges. He's just trying to make friends, play a good game, so good social game. And I feel like he's very well situated. I feel all three of them are very well situated, and this is going to be the counter alliance that we're seeing now to the David vs. Goliath, Christian, Yul, Becky, and Devon's alliance. So, one of these two groups I feel like will prevail long-term. Yeah, and it kind of shows how important like a us swap is, cuz if either one of those three were substituted with Q and his in his tribe, they would have been gone this episode.

30:25 So, it just goes to show if there was any sort of like if Q was in there instead of Colby, it would we'd be talking about a Q, you know, Coach alliance, right? So, yeah, I think I think it's one to watch, and if they can sort of hook back up with someone like Stephanie sort of at the merge or I don't think there's going to be another There might be another swap. There might be sort of like a swap to two or something like that. That could be something to watch. where it's sort of going to be kind of like the old school versus new school in a way, like the new school gamers versus the old school integrity. That would be pretty interesting, right? Cuz I feel like we've always >> I think's going to happen. Yeah, we've always wanted a new school old school like real proper sort of head-to-head and I think we might get it. But the real question is where does like where does like Ozzy and Cirie fit in sort of this equation here, right? Because I think there's a lot to watch there in terms of like how the major macro alliances are going to be working out.

31:22 For sure. Jay here says Chrissy said on Twitter that she didn't have any ill will towards Coach and she appreciated that he told her. So, that's really good for Coach's game. Chris also says we've got to stop that honor and integrity alliance. I kind of agree, but I do like Coach and Colby. so >> Coach will end it. Don't worry. >> [laughter] >> Coach will Coach will find a way where somebody did something non-honorable and he'll jump in and do something different. But when you're saying like, you know, Q being out of the game obviously could have been very easily a part of this alliance. Let's not forget about our man R I Z G O D O D who's still in the game and at some point might still get swapped into an alliance with Colby because I feel like it's very interesting that they showed us that moment between Colby and Ricard in the first episode. Like I feel like there's something you know, even though it's looking really bad for our guy R I Z G O D O D, I feel like he's going to find a way out and we'll talk about that a little bit more later.

32:14 >> or a double Z? I can't [laughter] remember. I can't remember. honor and integrity is boring. totally agree. Two more swaps. I feel like there could be There could definitely be some more swaps coming up. >> There might be one more swap one more swap and a merge. Or we could go straight into a merge at like Well, when would a merge be? Would be like a final 12? A final 14, maybe? I feel like we've had final 13s before. So, I could see like a 13 final 13 type of scenario. I'm not sure. Final 12 seems probably more plausible, but we've got a bigger season than what we've ever had. So, you could just go to a merge sooner and have a few people after the merge get voted out and not make the jury. The jury could start later from all of you. >> Yeah. Well, I don't know when it when are they going to start to do the double limbs? Are they going to do double limbs before jury before merge?

33:05 Or is it going to be just a massive bloodbath of the end game? Like you have like 15 people in a merge, like that'll be insane. Yeah. Chris here saying Colby warming up to Riz God while Cirie's irritated by him as hilarious. She is so real. It's true. I love that I love that interaction. Like I've got to be honest with you. like Rizo playing the first season, I was like, why is he coming I think I even told you. I was like, why is he coming back? I don't understand it. Like, yeah, he's a fun player and he seems like he's having a lot of fun out there, but I don't feel like he did anything that was Yeah, he held onto the idol, but I feel like he had a bit of a lucky run with that as well. Like in another season, he gets voted out with that thing, you know? and that's like his big claim to fame in my mind. But seeing him interact with these legends of the game and these players has kind of been heartwarming to see. It's like he's just one of us. He's a fan out there enjoying his time on the beach, meeting Cirie, meeting Colby.

33:57 You know, I can't wait to see his interactions with Coach. It's probably going to be funny as well. You know, so in some ways, he's actually brought some really good entertainment value and he's actually just a good kid. Like I actually I've turned around on Rizo. I actually am enjoying him this season and I'm a little bit worried for my man Rizo because, you know, he said the one thing that has scarred Charlie since he's left the game, that he voted against his ride or die and Sophie because they obviously they are trying to keep the cover story that Savannah and Rizo weren't as close as they were in the game. So, obviously he's continuing that story. This was a pre-planned story apparently between Savannah and himself to not talk about that bond that they had. So, if he suddenly >> even true. Yeah. >> He burns Charlie's relationship while he's at it. That's kind of ironic. That's why it's like all these people that come into a season with a lie about their career or like or how like this where what happened in the past season no one else knew.

34:52 Don't do that, you know, cuz then stuff like this can happen and can actually destroy your game. I just don't know why. Like it's just it's just not worth the risk in my opinion unless you like you want to play crazy like Rick Devens or something. Yeah, I don't know. Like Feels like a rookie move and it's and it's a shame because I think that Rizo really likes Charlie and he wanted to work with Charlie and I feel like Charlie and Rizo could have worked really well together. They're kind of the same archetype in my mind, the fan that became a player. They're both kind of strategic in the way that they play the game and but yeah, he's playing with fire and he doesn't even know it and Charlie's a great such a great Like this again shows me how good of a player Charlie is because he doesn't give anything away to Rizo. Like Rizo thinks he's in with him, that Charlie likes him, that conversation they have in the hammock like it just seems so natural and flowing. Like Charlie is a good liar.

35:43 Like he's lying to him with a straight face saying I'll work with you when he actually is gunning for him. So, really worried for them here if they don't win the next sort of try like the next immunity challenge because there's a good chance here that Rizo's going to go home. Yeah. Yeah, I'm scared for him. Chris is saying Rizo irritated me, but I can't hate him too much because I would be the same if I was out there on the island with Colby and Cirie. Totally true. I'm obsessed that Rizo lied about this, but who his number one was only for that lie to be the undoing of Charlie. It's crazy. And how about Charlie like Charlie being this messed up by Maria who didn't vote for him in the final that still haunts him to this day. Like I feel like there's some deep work for Charlie to be done outside of the game. Yeah. point. Yeah. Yeah, some people I saw some people online saying, "Hey, it's been a couple of years now.

36:34 You should get over it." But, it's a million dollars. >> [laughter] >> It's hard to get over a million dollars when it was kind of robbed from you at the last moment, right? So, I can also understand why he feels the way that he does. And yeah, his story arc I'm really interested to see where it goes this season. I don't think we haven't seen enough of Charlie for me to be convinced that he's going all the way. It's We're sitting up This story arc is a Rizo versus Charlie one-sided rivalry at the moment story arc. I think this is his story. I think his story is he's going to he's going to sort of cut Rizo because of what happened with Maria, and then he'll probably be like voted off next. I feel like that's just going to be the whole story because there was nothing else there was just him and the toe ring. That was it. There was no like setup or anything, and we would have seen more if he was a longer-term player in my opinion. >> Yeah.

37:25 Yeah, Jay saying he messed up with that Maria question to Charlie. I don't get why he would ask that. How does it help to further his game by bringing up something so traumatic to Charlie? Made no sense. No sense at all. who do you think currently as we look at the game is set up best with the tribe swaps? Like, if you had to from each tribe choose one or two players do you think is set up best, who do you think they are? Okay, so from purple, it's ooh, that's a tough one. >> do Okay, let me let me help you. So, New Cele has Charlie, D, Rizo, Kamilla, Jonathan, Xury, and Rick Devens. You probably Jonathan, I would say cuz we saw him we saw him plot with D, so he's so he's covered on that side. I don't think anybody's really looking at Jonathan. He's been really under the radar so far, and I feel like >> and Kamilla are close.

38:18 Yeah. Yeah, so I think that yeah, I think they're in a good they're in a good situation, I think. Then there's I mean Devon's is going to be a massive target regardless. Cirie's going to be a massive target regardless. Rizo I mean Charlie's actually playing like fairly well as well, like even though we haven't seen him that much. Like if you're in the game right now, you probably put a lot of money on Charlie not seeing the edit. So I think yeah. I mean I don't maybe I'm cheating by giving two I'm going to say Jonathan for that one. Yeah. yeah, I think Jonathan's in a really I mean no one wants to lose Jonathan, right? Jonathan is a ticket to get to the next stage of the game. He doesn't He I think has he ever lost a team immunity challenge in either season that he's played? I don't think he has. Or maybe Or maybe they did. >> Maybe they Maybe there's like one or two. Yeah. Like a puzzle >> didn't because the person in that original season that he lost in his tribe, I think was Medivac or something.

39:14 There was someone who got pulled from the game. Okay. >> know why. Maybe I'm wrong. >> It's a long time ago. It's like 5 years ago. So It's a long time ago. I feel like he hasn't lost, but yeah, Jonathan's in a solid spot. D, probably the biggest winner, I would say with the tribe swap cuz I could have seen a world where D would have been targeted next as a winner, but suddenly when you're getting swapped into tribes where the numbers are uncertain and you're there with people that you've played in the previous tribe, you need these number. The fact that she's a winner becomes less important in the swap. So I would say biggest winner >> There's two things going against her though. She has Cirie in her tribe and Cirie has an extra vote. So we need to factor that in as well. If they do go to Tribal Council, Cirie's two has two votes if the if she wants to use it. Then it's like then she's also got Devon's, that's three votes out of eight, I guess.

40:05 All they need is one more vote, one person to flip and then D could be in trouble. Yeah. Angel Cake saying Jonathan will be saved in the tribe portions because he's strong. He'll have to worry more when the solo portion happens. Totally true. Totally true. I'm interested to know, Drew, has Jonathan done enough? And I know you like characters, and I don't know Jonathan is necessarily a big character, but has he done enough where you're like, "Screw it. We need to see him on the challenge. We need to see him at least one season come on the challenge and show us what he's got." because we know that Survivor players do make their way over there. So, interested to know your thoughts on that. Christian says, "I think Sela doesn't go to Tribal Council next. I think they win immunity challenges before the merge." Yeah. I don't I don't think they're I think everybody So the right the right answer here is because Jonathan is in this tribe, everybody in this tribe is in the best possible spot right now that they could have been prior to it.

41:00 Chris is making a an executive decision saying no to Jonathan on the challenge. Jason I think Cirie's going to vote out Dee. That's why they showed that scene about Dee talking about regretting not voting her off. I agree [snorts] with that one. Yeah. Yeah, I could see it. Cirie's a killer. Like, she's not going to play around with the likes of a Dee. She knows Dee's dangerous. And Dee knows Cirie's dangerous. Yeah. Yeah. And Dee knows Cirie's dangerous as well. But, yeah, I think if you had to choose between the players from this season that could physically be good on the challenge and that would be fun to watch, Q would be fun. I would want to see Q there cuz he would be he would be messy. He'd be loud. He'd be loud. >> Q terrible at challenges? Kind of. He's got People say he's got popcorn muscles, but could still be fun to watch at least. People on the challenge just love the big characters, I feel like. and if you're good at challenges as well as the character moments, then you're in a good spot.

41:53 Okay, let's see if have a look here and see who else. So, for Carlo, we've got Aubry, Joe, Genevieve, who we've hardly spoken about in this podcast, which I'm worried for her. Coach, Chrissy, Colby, and Tiff on this tribe. What's the dynamic Yeah, this is an interesting one cuz you've got the owner and tie owner integrity alliance and to me they have the hallmarks of the David versus Goliath alliance where they're kind of like inseparable. However, we do know that Kobe doesn't have a vote. So, that's only two votes. That's not enough. So, I think that they might be put onto the side and it's just going to be essentially Genevieve versus Aubry. I think that Genevieve will have one over on Aubry, but the fact that Aubry knows that Genevieve is after her kind of nullifies that a little bit. >> She's playing that idol. Yeah, she's playing that idol.

42:43 So, who's the collateral damage? It's going to be Genevieve here? You said you were worried about her. I think too She's on my team, so. >> [laughter] >> I don't know. Tiff is like For me Tiff is like a non-factor to be honest. Like I'm sorry to like Yeah, I feel like I feel like Survivor likes to do this one person that's got no edit that just gets snuffed from nowhere. You just don't understand why they were even voted out, but I could I feel worried for Tiff. Like Tiff has got no storyline. we're not seeing anything from her. If they If they place Well, the thing is this tribe doesn't all of the Not all of them knows that Aubry's onto them. So, I could very easily see Genevieve being snuffed by an Aubry idol play here in this moment. I wouldn't be surprised to see that. that could be Genevieve's story. It was her versus Aubry. Aubry ends up taking her out. I'm not sure. I'm worried. I still think Aubry's in a terrible position, but the fact that she knows they're coming for her that's a good thing.

43:39 The question is does Steph get the information across or Like who knows that Aubry has the idol? Well, Genevieve. Genevieve? No. Genevieve gave it to her. Oh, in that in that in that Steph knows. Steph knows cuz Emily told them, right? Yeah. >> Yeah. So I feel like that's the only way that they could kind of play around it. Pretty much everyone kind of Well, everyone on Vati who knows essentially. >> [laughter] >> And then And then And I guess on that tribe only Genevieve Was Genevieve alone or was she with anybody in that Oh, no. She was with Colby, of course. Colby has >> Colby. Yeah, so that's what I'm thinking. Genevieve was Colby's vote, right? So, Colby is absolutely bringing Genevieve in with the honor and integrity alliance. I'm sure. We haven't seen that yet, but I'm sure he's bringing it cuz he needs the vote.

44:30 And he's going to be like, "Hey, I can work with Genevieve. I've worked with her. Let's get it in on the vote." Yeah. Actually, I got confused. It's Christian that gave Aubry the idol, obviously. So, Yes. Christian Devens Yeah, no one No one knows on that tribe that Aubry has the idol. Yeah, so that's probably why Genevieve was so loose-lipped about going after Aubry cuz she's like, "Oh, well, I know that Aubry doesn't have an idol." It's like, "Oops." >> Yeah. Well, do you? >> [laughter] >> And then on So, okay. So, who do I think? Yeah, so obviously Colby, Coach, Joe, they seem like the three people that are probably the safest on that. >> Yeah. I don't know how Joe does it. Like, I don't know why they don't just vote out Joe, but every single episode every single season that he's on, he just seems to just Oh, yeah, let's play with Joe. Well, let's play around. And then vote Joe out. Joe's like the unmovable object that you can't do anything with.

45:21 Like, I don't understand how he gets it this far. It's just I don't know. Maybe he's just an incredible player that I don't see. But, just get him out of the game. Get him >> gets he gets he gets players with him that feel like they can they can use that honor and cuz it's always Joe's predictable player, right? Like, I haven't seen the merge part of his original season, but if he's like all honor and integrity, you just continue to appeal to that side of him. Yeah. It reminds me of It reminds me of what Yul said about Jonathan. They're two completely different players, but Yul says that Jonathan is very predictable. And if you can always play with predictable people because in Jonathan's case, he's very self-centered. He was very self He had agency for himself. whereas John Joe, you know what his values are. You know Exactly. If he says something, you know he's going to do exactly what he says. And you know that he will never lie to you, which is, you know, quite good.

46:14 Don't know if he's a >> And so, while the predictable is predictable is good in Survivor, I feel like, you know? Chrissy says, "I would have much rather had Dominic than Joe. I feel like Joe took Dom's spot." And that's unfortunate, cuz I'm the same. Dom would have been interesting in this cast. I don't know. For me, Dom and like they look so similar to It was just [laughter] me, but they look so but they play so completely different. Very different games. Joe was very predictable in 48. Jonathan Penner, not Jonathan Young. Yep. Yes, Penner. so on the Vaatu tribe, I feel like it's a boring dynamic as well, because and not boring, it's an exciting trio, but we kind of know who the trio is that's going to run the game there. It's David versus Goliath, unless somehow Emily can work with Ozzy, but I don't think she's going to do it. I don't think she's going to burn Christian. It's just So, who's controlling it is Mike.

47:04 Let's be honest, it's Mike. It's not Angelina. Christian has lost his agency. It's Mike. Because Mike is the bridge to Ozzy now. He is the bridge to, David versus Goliath. And there's that there is the White Lotus factor there as well. Let's be honest. Is Mike making it to the final again, Andre? Like I mean, he's in a good spot right now. He's in a really good spot. In our draft podcast, we're like, "Ah, we don't need to see White and Mike White again." I'm happy to be completely wrong. I think he's actually been one of the most solid cast members of the entire cast. He's been he's been in it for so long. Like he's been in the I was watching him on The Amazing Race in like 2005 or something. Like he knows he knows how to make good TV. so, yeah, I'm glad that he's glad I'm actually glad he's back. And, I think I think now, like looking back, I think he's actually been one of the more solid, casting choices.

47:57 Yeah, no, I'm 100% with you. I think Mike has been His confessionals are gold as well. Like, he's great at them. So, I've really enjoyed having him there, and he's been a challenge beast as well, you know, beating Colby in the swimming challenge the previous episode. So, let's not forget about, Mike White the challenge beast this season. And, yeah, he's ripped. Jay thinks that Christian's going to flip on Angelina. I don't think it's going to happen this side of the merge, probably. I'd like him to. I'd like him to. Yeah, I'd like him to. Because Yeah, he could I mean, he's seems to be playing this season like he is willing to do these moves and just because he was with them on a season. We have to remember that he pointed this out in, I think, to the to the to the cast, actually, that they voted him like four times. They kept on targeting him when he was when he was a David.

48:47 Remember, they were the Goliath, he was the David. So, I wouldn't be surprised. I just don't know how it would serve him long-term. unless Yeah, unless Emily's really >> Angelina, in my mind, this season may potentially be the biggest letdown of all the Like, we've wanted Angelina to come back for so long to play the game because she was an exciting player. She was kind of bringing a bit of chaos and the way that she was very vocal. But, I think Angelina's done a lot of introspection or she's like looked at herself outside of the game, and she's become a mom, which has made her like a lot more, which is great for her as a human being, and she seems like she's got so much more awareness and things like that now compared to the first time that she played that she's kind of become a boring player till a large degree. Like, I she's there, and I guess in the cast of 24 people and 20 people are left in the game, someone's not going to get an edit.

49:42 If someone's not getting an edit, you know, so but it's Like, I expected more. What I What I think what we liked about Angelina was she was so self-unaware and kind of like a little bit like clumsy in her first season, you know, trying to negotiate rise with Like that's what we liked about her. And it would be pretty bad if she came back for her next season without learning anything, right? There was no development. So, it's really great for her as a person that she's sort of developed into like actually a very mature, very well-rounded type of person. and it's, you know, it's very clear that she's developed herself quite a bit, but Yeah. >> make you a good Like doesn't make you a good character on Survivor. Yeah, doesn't make you a fighting >> Yeah, exactly. Chrissy says, [clears throat] "I feel like Mike may stay away for a while because he can play the no one will vote for an Emmy-winning millionaire to win the season." I agree. I think that's in some ways is a bit of armor for him in the game.

50:33 Chrissy says, "I feel like Angelina met expectations for me this episode. She is still fun, but just more mature. I fear that if Amanda was on the season, you all would have criticized her the same way you are on Angelina." yeah, I know. No. To be honest to be honest, like Amanda was a really good player her first >> strategically seasons. Strategically very good. I don't think Angelina was in her first season. I remember many times when she was like saying >> She was a character. Yeah, we need to treat people like army. Like it's like no, you know? I would have actually loved to have seen Amanda over Angelina retrospect because I think it would have been interesting to take somebody that like Amanda who has matured by 10, 15 years and on top of that pretty good strategic acumen. I would have been very curious to see She would have been closer Oh, yeah, closer to Chrissy. I see Amanda the current Amanda would be a lot more probably like a Chrissy.

51:26 The only thing that Amanda never had was the ability to own her game on final tribals. Like that was the biggest issue. Like just not owning the fact that she was devious, owning the fact that she was good strategically and voting people out. But I always I liked her both seasons. I thought she made the final, she was solid. Yeah, she needs the sale the sale skills. Like always be closing. And I felt she never was she was never the closer. She was really good at nurturing the pipeline, but when you get to the end, you need to you need to ask for the signature. You need to close, you know? Yeah. And she always she always got second place, you know? >> [laughter] >> Classic sales 101 issue for a lot of people. They can they can put people on this journey and have a really good time with them, but just don't know when to close. And that was the problem for them. >> feel really bad. I feel really bad because like maybe we're validating Chris's thesis that we might have been very critical of her when she was on this season. I want to be clear, she's a very good player. I really like her.

52:17 I really want to see her. Yeah. >> [snorts] >> Okay, let's bring up the draft again. So, obviously I know you don't want to see this, but we are down to four players in your tribe. I think if we looked at it right now, Genevieve probably is the one player that is in the biggest trouble in your current tribe. But and Devens could be as well. Like, I mean, I'm not I'm not going to like, how are you feeling at the moment, Andre? I just want to check in. Are you okay? I feel like I'm going to second Tara. Yeah, no, it's a tough one. I don't know. It's just cuz I see other people that are I don't believe are playing the best game in the world just skating through because they've done well in challenges. I'm like, I guess that I guess that's Survivor for you, right? It's like early in the game it completely shifts, you know, once you get to the merge and you know, people like Jonathan will be like very easy pickings.

53:10 So, I don't know. I feel like I could get pretty unlucky here and see maybe like a Genevieve gets sniped by Aubry. Like, that's very possible. I can see Devens getting being collateral damage from Cirie. If they target Cirie, and they're like, "Oh, let's just get her out." >> surviving one episode. I think that idol they put it there for a reason. It could fail. It could still be to show him bring it up and it failing, but I think he gets one. I think he gets one episode of safety with that idol at least. And then and Survivor sometimes you just need to survive one day because there could be a swap around the corner and then he could be in a better spot. But yeah, very worried for you all. I would say Devon's and for Genevieve probably in that tribe. I think Christian and Mike White's not going anywhere anytime soon. Then when we look at my tribe, we've got Aubry who has been in danger from the start of the game and still somehow stays in there.

54:03 And I think she's probably still in danger. Angelina I'm feeling a little bit better about now with the swap. I don't I don't see Christian targeting her immediately. I just think it would be a bad move. Maybe in a couple of episodes like if he wanted to save Emily over Aubry, I could see that. I think he would he might think he has a better relationship or better chance with Emily long-term. Ozzy How's he still in the game? Like you know, like he's a big target. >> I think Ozzy's going to make it far. He's done it he's done it twice before. So he knows how to navigate the game. Like he's not the best socially, but I mean doesn't matter if you make it that far. Like he has a certain way of playing. And he's very good at that certain way of playing. Just like Cirie's very good at playing some particular way. She doesn't need to win the challenges. Ozzy doesn't need to be good socially.

54:55 So we'll see. I think that I think Ozzy's a big player this season. Well, I think the thing with Ozzy is I think he's not great socially, but he's also not bad socially. He's kind of like just >> He's learned a lot. >> Yeah. Yeah. Yeah, I feel like he's just neutral. I don't think he's necessarily this season ruffling any feathers or making people upset or anything. I think he's just like playing this mediocre middle non-offensive social game. And he played it very well with Emily, too. So if you saw the way that Emily was approaching him with ideas, he's like, "I really like that idea." But And I think he's learned a little bit from Cirie. I think Cirie gave him a few pointers. Yeah. I think that's a pretty dangerous combo cuz we haven't seen that Yeah. flip out. Well, I guess we did see the flip out with Coach but it's Coach. But like That was Coach flipping out more than Ozzy. Ozzy was just like, "What are you doing?" >> [laughter] >> But Ozzy is playing a better game than yeah.

55:47 Yeah. Ozzy, my boy Ozzy, he needs to get in a tribe swap with Cirie ASAP so for me to feel a little bit better about him. And then Steph law to danger there. Like most likely next person that I could see going if that tribe goes back to tribal council. I think Steph could be out. It could still be Ozzy if they tried to blindside him with the idol. It's a possibility but Steph >> I see Yeah, I see Steph, I see Rizo, and I feel Tiff is in the biggest danger on each of the tribes if they're on different tribes, right? Yeah. Yeah. I think I think you're right. Yeah. And then Joe, Coach, D, and Colby probably the ones that are the most solid which funny enough is in the front end of my draft for TNT community. Cirie's looking good. Chrissy's on the up with this last episode. Tiff, like you said, maybe in some danger there. Charlie potentially like depending on where It could be Rizo or Charlie at this stage.

56:39 I don't know which way they have it. >> like Charlie's going to get rid of Rizo. I think that's the story they're telling. I think I you feel bad for Rizo but I don't I don't see Rizo being able to outplay Charlie. I'm sorry. Like Charlie's a definitely better player than Rizo is. Yeah. Interesting. yeah. That's pretty much it here for this week. Is there anything else you feel like we haven't discussed that you want to talk to >> are no Do we have any I don't know if you've done this yet but like points like I don't There's no like I don't remember any quotes or anything any like >> no. So let me talk about the points. Thanks for reminding me. so points-wise we had we had okay, Survivor episode. So everybody that survived, obviously, we're starting to get a lot of points from that perspective from just people surviving and you've had a few people fall off early. >> [laughter] >> >> Which is not how Which is not how.

57:30 And then winning the immunity outright from my tribe from my team, I had D for the outright win. Only had one player. You had Devens, which was the outright win. And then TNT community absolutely took it home on this front. They had Cirie, Jonathan, Charlie, Ricard, and Kamilla. All three points that sweet three points going their way. it's been a big week for them with the immunity win. and then for gets caught in a lie, I had a couple of points here for gets caught in a lie. like Okay, who did I put here? I put Q and Stephanie potentially for being caught in a lie. I would have put Ricard in. But he was caught, but that because it But I don't >> know that they caught him in a lie. Yeah, but they don't know that they caught him in a lie, right? But it like Ste- Stephanie and Q basically got caught in a lie because they lied to Angelina that they were going to keep her safe in the original tribe.

58:27 And then Emily went around and said, "No, they told me they were targeting you next." Which really turned Angelina on them. So, I feel like that's an outright caught in a lie moment there. for having a meltdown, I put out Emily. I feel like Emily had a bit of a meltdown this episode. So, she definitely got some points there. >> I would have said there were three contenders. There was There was Emily, there was Chrissy, and there was Angelina. But Angelina and Chrissy weren't really meltdowns. They were more like revelations to them. So, I think that Emily's the right choice there. Yeah. Was there anybody that said something iconic this specific episode that you can think of? I don't I don't re- I was like looking out for that. I don't I don't remember anything iconic. Like Not like la- like last week was pretty good, but this week is just like No, nothing. Cuz like I think the most memorable thing for me this season was Christian's like reaction to the idol that he was pretending.

59:23 But that's not a quote. So, I don't I can qualify that. Yeah, I don't think there was anything this week. And then I also wasn't too sure if anybody actually made a big move this episode cuz no one found anything idol-wise or anything like that. I don't know if anybody made a big move. It felt like a pretty obvious move to take out you. I think Rick and Rick and Christian lying about who found the idol might be, but I don't I don't know if that's going to pay off. So, I don't know if that can be considered a big move. I'm not saying it because they're on my team. It's a move. It's a move. I don't know if it's a big move yet. Like it's actually a big move for Christian in some ways because he's putting the target Actually, I feel like I can give it to Christian because like it was I feel like even though Devens is in on the plan on that, I feel like the big move here was Christian painting the target on Devens head and using him as a shield in this moment.

1:00:15 So let's go with that and you could do with some of those points as well. So, you get three points for that. >> I think that's a >> [laughter] >> feeling sorry for me points. Chris saying, "I think Charlie lying awake at night remembering his trauma was iconic. I have already used that image as a reaction image a few times." >> [laughter] >> And this is >> there's a big theme here of like PTSD with him and Joe has major PTSD. I just love to see Joe and Charlie play together and just be like just bonding over their PTSD. [laughter] Exactly. And to some degree also Chrissy because she was so she wasn't liked in her original season. So, The PTSD alliance. Yeah, it's just like the alliance. It's a little bit of redemption. Yeah, there's a little redemption to be had here. Like you know, that's probably the They should have named the season Survivor Redemption. That would be I was like how not to steal the title of the current Australian Survivor.

1:01:07 Australian Survivor is It'd be better than the current Australian Survivor season. >> [laughter] >> Yeah. Well, this is this is a an interesting story just before we get the final points here. For people who don't know, Andre, you know, long time Survivor fan has his girlfriend started watching Survivor I think more like because you watched it, right, Andre? And you got into Australian Survivor. She's watched some of Survivor US, but she's always been an Australian Survivor fan. But you told me this week she's turning around on Survivor US because of Survivor 50. That's phenomenal. Like you know, finally. She's watching right now. Hello. she's more into this season of American Survivor than Australian Survivor this, which is which is rare. and I think one of the comments she had is like, "You guys really talk about Ozzy a lot. I don't know why." Cuz she hasn't seen any of Ozzy seasons. [laughter] She's only seen like, you know, a Coach season. She's seen some of the new era.

1:01:58 So she's like has a few guesses. She obviously know who Cirie is. She's like, "Who is this Ozzy guy?" >> [laughter] >> Yeah. Oh, well, hot take here. The Nullified Take channel is an Ozzy stan podcast. Like we love Ozzy up here on the Nullified Take channel. someone had to knock Tony Vlachos off because I was talking about him for ages when he wasn't on seasons. It's taken a minute and two seconds, Chris, before I mentioned Tony's name, okay? [laughter] but okay, let's look at the points here for the team. So Andre, you are in a tough spot. I'm just going to rip the band-aid. You're on 36 points in total in third place. And we have a tie for number one at 56 points each between myself and the TNT community. So 20 points difference to make up at this stage, but yeah, it's really I didn't realize how much this format was going to hurt you when you lose players early. But on a 24 player season where everybody gets a point when they survive, that's been the real deal breaker for you at this stage, Andre.

1:02:52 I'm really holding out for a Christian Devon's final two here. >> [laughter] >> It's all about participating, Andre. It's all about having fun, okay? Chris is saying this channel would be deleted if you didn't mention Tony at least once per live. Glad you remember to bring him up. Exactly. It's like it's in the clause with YouTube. Got to mention him at least once. Get him in right before helps >> algorithm, yeah. It helps the algorithm, exactly. Are there are there Tony, Boston Rob, or Cirie, or Parvati, or who else? Who's a goat? That's Well, yeah, that's the Well, Sandra. Sandra. There we go. >> [laughter] >> All right. everyone, this was a lot of fun. Thank you so much, Andre, for jumping on early to do this one today as well. for those of you who dropped in here towards the end, please subscribe to the channel if you like this content. let us know what your thoughts were of the episode.

1:03:45 And we'll catch you all next time when we talk about episode four. Hopefully, this season remains very strong. I've been enjoying it a lot this season. everybody, grab your torches, head back to camp, we'll catch you next time. Bye. Bye.
