01 Welcome back to the nullified take where we've got the tnt takes for you on the amazing race season 33 episode nine and michelle you've just run a race yourself to get here in time and i've just done the ryan to your dusty to let you calm down and catch your breath as we go into this podcast how's things been on your end oh my god could i get a link no i couldn't get a link and then literally finished watching it 20 minutes ago and then from that ending with ryan going crazy no just yeah no dusty going crazy to now i have been running around like a scolded chicken in the house just trying to move chairs and you know just fix things and tell my children to be quiet and to get here in time oh my god you made it that's all that matters and i was thinking you know your energy is such high level coming into it so you know i've gotta i've got to make sure you come down because i normally you know i'm like an empath almost like i get the energy that you have and then i go high energy and we're just gonna end up at 200 throughout this whole podcast so but i think we got we'll both be we'll both be we'll be we'll be we'll be ryan and dusty together which will combine to rusty hopefully you won't

21 Mess up hopefully you and me won't mess up the name again this time we had some really exciting news and welcome everybody here we've got jerome saying bonjour that's hello my friends there we go well my male friends and female friends there we go and we've also got lovable nikki here frequent listener of the challenge content and the amazing race content here and you know lovable nikki welcome to the live streams always good to have you here you know what a what an episode michelle what an episode you know we kind of thought to ourselves that there's a good likelihood that this was going to be a non-elimination and surprise it ends up being a non-elimination this episode yes but the bottom team is different to what i thought it would be you know what i was very fearful for them but i mean let's we'll get into that later on i have seen holes in the edit this whole season that made me think that they will fall out before the final three so i kind of wasn't surprised when i saw things going in the way that it went this episode but we'll definitely get into that i also just wanted to say because i know different people listen to different recaps that i do on the channel thank you to everybody that got me over 200 subscribers we only just reached 200 subscribers this week and we're already at 220 since tuesday

41 So thank you to everybody that's subscribing and that is watching the amazing race content i really appreciate it and we're trying to get to 500 subs because when we get there michelle i can put community posts up i can put polls up i can get the audience involved and a little bit of what we're going to be doing on the channel and we also had really exciting news this week michelle because the twins actually watched our rant about onions last week and they reached out to us to say it wasn't onions it was the raw onions but i've had a chat with the twins a few times now and they will be coming on the podcast for an interview with both of us woohoo yeah very exciting news to have them come on they will be the first usa international you know reality tv people that i ever get the opportunity to interview and obviously they're the favorites that i've had this season said not to see them here and maybe that's another reason why i kind of felt like a little bit meh about this episode because there wasn't that much happening you know there's a bit of drama we'll get into that but i felt like it was a pretty straightforward leg overall yeah it was there wasn't anything drastic that they had to do unless someone chose the walking up the hill and then we could have had some fainting or something happening when they said you have to walk i thought is it upstairs no again

03 It was interesting though i mean obviously they start off we get them at the docks where they finished in the previous leg and again we've got the team split in two different starting positions you've got team one you've got team two we don't know how much time they're separated with when they start this league but we do know they have to drive 30 miles to another little town and then it was quite interesting to see kayla and raquel talk about the fact that even the place that they were at wasn't on the map that they had and i've heard a lot of rumors about the maps not being accurate for the areas that they were in so that's maybe a reason that lulu and lala had issues navigating in the previous episode and we get them talking about how critical it is for them to be able to go and find this place first up and they're a little bit lucky here because they nearly turned around and went the opposite direction from what they should have done i know i oh god this leg i have a lot to say about another team about their self-driving skills later on but yeah it seemed to cause a few issues and even though they said it was a small place there are a lot of buildings there for a small place and freeways and i didn't think of it as a small place at all no and it was interesting because all of the signs and things like as they're driving is in a different language so that's foreign

23 To them so we don't get to see the legs in asia like we would normally see or over somewhere in you know africa where it can be really difficult to navigate so i think that they probably on purpose chose a place like greece because they knew that you know obviously it helped being a little bit isolated from bigger central hubs within europe but also that they probably thought this might give them a little bit of a taste of that legs that we would normally get used to where language barriers are issue being able to navigate and get around is a bit of an issue because you kind of want to see that a little bit on the amazing race and would feel empty if we didn't have teams struggling out there navigating yes and also this leg was the leg that a reality fan forum sort of keyed into because we found them there and so it was a bigger town or city than what they've been before so before that we it was so hard to find them because obviously not racing on different planes not at you know big airports so it was really hard to track where they were but there were a lot of photos of this place that people found them to be at so i've been waiting for this like nine episodes and they finally get there and we hear a little bit more about kim and maybe

44 You know me and you were kind of wondering why kim has had a tough time on the race she alluded to that a few episodes ago and we couldn't put two and two together but she talks about the fact that she's an anxious person in general and that the race has not helped her with that because obviously they're racing against other teams they know they could be knocked out as well if a mistake is made she has to go and do a roadblock here on her own this episode and you know she carries that weight which every amazing race racer has felt in the past like if you choose to do a roadblock the fate of your team is in your hands i think it's everyone's worst nightmare to be out there and cost it for your team definitely it's awful i mean i fell for all of them that were turning over those rocks because they all had that on their mind it was it was a really i think it was really beautiful having this theater out there out of rocks you know really historic the sort of you know i guess the area that they did it in i like the setup with the what did they call her the oracle yeah the oracle being there the harps being played really set the mood you know i really enjoyed that but i think the biggest challenge that we probably don't appreciate as viewers and penn kind of pointed it out there's four of these rocks that actually have a golden coin

04 Underneath it and there's thousands and thousands of rocks that they've got to go through we as the viewers can see where it is we're like no dummy move to the right it's on the right hand side you know or like kim said the music plays when your foot's next to it or something like that but it really looked like a very difficult challenge to do and a challenge that i personally would hate to be the person because i've got no patience michelle like i want things done yesterday this is not my challenge if we were able to do the amazing race that search and find was actually probably one of the hardest i've ever had because usually there's more than just those four items for the four teams usually there's multiples there's definitely less items to search through even when they've had to search for drugs and all the things that they've had to do in the past this looked particularly brutal just so brutal to go through that all thank god it wasn't a hot day as well and i'm sure in the past they haven't limited it to just the amount of things being there according to the teams like four because it is such a big disadvantage to the last team there they've got one to find in all of those thousands and thousands of rocks like i would not have wanted to be in dusty's shoes at all and that's what i thought as soon as penn got there

24 I was thinking that and he voiced it then and i'm thinking you know yeah it's exactly what penn said you don't want to be there last it's just awful because you'd have to search for everything yeah and i think the other thing as well that's hard to comprehend as a viewer is that when you're going out there and you're turning these rocks over they all look the same and there's so many of them and you know i think it would be quite hypnotizing after a while where you just would lose track of what you're doing where you've been then you've got other people getting in the way of what you're trying to do with your method you're like no i'm going to move in the outer circle then i'm going to go back in or i'm doing this little grid here but then you notice someone else is doing the grip that you've got to do next and they've moved on so you're like surely it's not there because they've just moved on from it so it kind of messes with your train of thought yeah i had a question because i want to know i mean i haven't had a chance to listen to any other podcast especially kim and pens you know which is the good one because they have the behind the scenes stuff i was going to say so you're going to get the informed answer here from me now i'm going to get some thought from you of what may have happened or what i want to know is with the rocks were they allowed to just turn them over and then make a pile because no one did that

44 I would have even just squashed the ones together that i'd already looked at now there's two sides to that coin haha in that you don't want anyone coming after you to see all that pile's done let me go somewhere else yep if you were second or second last team there can you push them together the ones you've already looked at so you just know what you're doing and then you can all work together and just you know just narrow down the choices but no one did that so i'm wondering what was on the actual roadblock clue i'm sure with all the behind the scenes content that are out there this season with so many of the races recapping and telling us about the behind the scenes i'm sure that we'll find out what that was because you're right like if you were to be able to turn it around you'd probably be able to just push it away so lovable nikki here says and i think that she would have listened to some of the others as per kim and pen and kim no piles no gripping of the rocks together and that makes sense because it would just make it a little bit too easy right jesus don't make it easy oh god enough of a struggle but that's what i was wondering because no one had done that and i thought there's other people who think like me so here's the thing right michelle like i said i would have hated to do this because i've got no patience like

04 I would have been similar i don't think i would have lost my temper but i would have been bouncing up and down not knowing what to do with myself because i'm so high energy and i'm out there having to sit still and move rocks over the whole time it would be my worst nightmare on the bloody race if i had to go out there but what is worse being out there in the middle trying to flip these rocks over or being the partner sitting there seeing somebody else struggle and seeing your game slip through your fingers because they can't get it like i almost feel like even though i would have hated it the hindsight is i probably would have wanted to be in control of my own fight and be out there doing it because it must have sucked just so much just sitting on the slide yeah seeing people not being able to get it i think sitting on the sidelines would have just only been marginally worse not a hell of a lot worse because you're sitting there thinking he's missed that rock he hasn't done that rock and he's just passed by just like when kim said i've touched i've touched all the rocks and i said yeah you've touched all the rocks but you didn't turn that one over you just touched it yeah so yeah i think it was more of a nightmare for the one sitting there but only marginally archangel here in the life says doing the challenge was the worst how stressful yeah i think it would have been really bad being out there and it's funny because when they went out there you know it was interesting to see who they chose to do the challenge now obviously we've

24 Seen that kim has got a little bit of issues with anxiety and the pressure of having to do some of these things and she gets quite stressed and she was in her mind quite a bit while she was out there raquel seemed to be the perfect fit because she's been talking about her zen-ness since she's come back and being able to tap out and really relax and then arun has been doing good and physical challenges which this isn't really physical but he seemed pretty calm as he was doing this as well and then i saw dusty being selected i knew this was going to go in a bad place because dusty does not have patience right and they were out there for three hours michelle doing this thing you know and hats off to ryan i mean what a great friendship between the two of them that the respect is there that you know ryan could go in and say dusty mate calm down come take a look at this great scenery around here just take your mind over for a little bit and he's able to be the dusty whisperer here on the amazing race and you can calm them down because i mean i've got mates that if they tell me to do something we probably would be you know locking horns like it's like guys sometimes fight about things but it seems they've got this great friendship that they can they can talk to each other in this way and i think ryan is the perfect ying to the yang of dusty on the race i think so too i

44 They're just such a good pairing i mean dusty stood by ryan all those years so that tells you about his character in itself just standing by someone so yeah but lovely guys and i've got a bit of a hot take because of this you know i've been i've been thinking the whole time kim and peen definitely winning this thing like the edit kind of shows that i still think kim and pen is the favorites it was you know i know i'm jumping a little bit back and forth but it's hard when we're talking about ryan and dusty i kind of want to bring this up you know full set at the end what happened to you guys you're the most dominant team this season it's like what no kim and ben is they've won the most what are you talking about ryan and dusty being the most dominant team this season but ryan and dusty have been a team that can they've shown that they can get there in the end and potentially win i've been fearful of their chances of winning the season because we've seen how negatively other teams have reacted to dusty really celebrating and wearing his heart on his sleeve but i think that this has now given us a great insight into dusty as a human being as a person out there he knows that he's had some flaws in the past and a lot of the times the little bit of space between anger and you know passion is so close you know and he seems to be a very passionate person that does everything with 120 150

05 You know and that's the way he lives his life you know full-on kind of like how you came into this podcast you know that's how he lives yes that's it you know what it's funny with that challenge i thought when they explained it i thought the coins were going to be on the ground under the stone not actually in the stone because i don't know how well that was explained because when they were doing that i thought they were just looking you know under the onto the ground and then i realized that it was stuck under there so and they only give you as little they normally give you as little as possible information as well to make it hard yeah i think i would have missed it because i would have been just looking for the ground so not even turning it 90 degrees so i could see what was underneath another aside have you seen ghostbusters way back like the originals way back yes she was crazy and possessed i'm sorry that was the oracle did you look at it that was the oracle and when she's kinda got her eyes open like this and giving them the clue i'm thinking oh my god where are the giant wolves gonna come out from hey i tell you what these

25 Greeks they take they're acting serious throughout this whole thing like they were really into it you know and it's awesome to see because obviously you know a lot of art and you know these types of things that it happened this was one of the birthing places for the western you know sort of art and that we see nowadays and it was quite interesting to see them tap into that because i think i was a little bit critical of not seeing enough of the that side of greek last week and i was saying like there's more in greece like why didn't they show us more of the culture or more of what the country is about and then they're like let's okay hold my hat here we go we're going to throw everything at you guys in this episode but one of the things what do we have we all socrates and we had so we had three philosophers and then there was a philosopher at the end i didn't i didn't write the philosopher's name down at the end no i didn't know either he just looked cold it looked like he wanted to crawl in that urn and stay in there but i say like i mean this is this is kind of my i feel like you know we haven't had the taxis this season where the taxi can cost the top tier team the game this was that challenge this was like okay anybody can get out of there at any time it's not skill it's more patience being lucky to a certain degree yeah you look like you

46 Unless you're aruna natalya and natalya tells dad to go straight and poor dad's at a obviously a fork in the road and doesn't know which way straight is keeps asking left or right she wouldn't answer him i'm like my god it was hard to watch he's stuck in the middle of the road christ's sake i think we've gotten a bit more of an insight as to why they're struggling to navigate because there's clearly a communication issue and you know he's asking her and she's like i don't understand why my dad's getting so frustrated at me but it's because he's not communicating i wasn't even in the car hey not everybody is good at giving directions you know that's just one of those things not everybody is good at that and for some other reason it didn't work that well they were back in the manual car and he was struggling with the gearbox a little bit there as well which was funny to see but you know ultimately i did feel like they hammed up the whole aruna natalya struggling to get to the detour the hand it up from them finishing the detour to go into the finish line just again to create this drama i don't think that ryan and dusty actually even came close to them i think that you know them being out there three hours they were that far behind the rocks put them that far behind that they had no realistic shot at getting back and i think ryan's approach to yeah i think

06 Ryan's approached saying listen i'm just gonna relax i'm just gonna enjoy where we're at like let's not get angry about things at this point that is out of our control was a great approach to it and it kept them focused now what did you think of the detour because again it kind of fell a little bit flat to me there was two detours there but no one actually ended up going for the delivery one everybody just wanted to break the plates to find yet a little bit of a clue in the plates the i would have done the plates easier one however why didn't they think well they're not going to put the clue in the first two piles let's take the middle pile first and let's see because they're never going to put it near the beginning and no one everyone took the first piles i'm thinking go for the back go for the middle what are you doing people yeah or like maybe split the piles in half and then you kind of start throwing the ones that are in the middle i guess because there's a higher likelihood in the first couple of the little ones go to the ends but no they all just started from the top went down from the front to the back i'm thinking oh my god there was a lot of pent up frustration though from different races this episode i mean it wasn't just dusty getting a little bit heated and frustrated wanting to do i think there was a there's a theme to everybody wanting to go smash

26 Plates here because kim said she needed to release some energy and she was very annoyed at something being out there probably being out there looking at rocks the whole time did that to her and then the same with her killing kyla they wanted to do it because they wanted to get rid of some frustration iron and italia have been fighting all day they wanted to get rid of frustration so i think go on it was a whole rock thing yeah there's a rocks that just put everybody in a bad mood so they're all they all went for the smashing of the plates which i'll be honest i would have done that as well because it looked a lot more fun than running around doing deliveries you know i don't know deliveries no it's flat smash plates i thought i thought you were asking me for my cv like have you ever done deliveries yeah have you done deliveries have you ever done like pizza deliveries uber deliveries you know i haven't i funny story actually i used to work when i first moved to new zealand i used to work for dhl as a subcontractor and i did do some deliveries for a little while so you know i've got some experience doing deliveries but the difference is that you know i've got a gps i've got a phone you know it's easy to get around i guess when you're doing that this looked a little bit more complex especially if you don't have a map that actually has names of streets that you're in like i mean that would have been a good starting point yes exactly

46 But then even if you had the name of the street it's not on the sign anyway unless you have the name of the street written in greek and then you can match but yeah and then they said most of the people there weren't speaking english so i mean that's another thing so if you can keep the control of how quickly you're going to go through the detail in your own hands then i think it's better to keep it in your own hands than trying to hope that the locals will be able to help you because maybe that's not something that they could do easily out there so i'm not i'm not blaming them for going that way it made it a little bit straightforward for us to watch because we didn't really see variety on the two tasks that they could have done out there but i thought you know overall fun challenge they got through that pretty easily and then had to make a run to the white castle i believe for i think it was called white castle it reminds me of game of thrones the white tower yeah i don't know we were talking about deliveries and uber and i was thinking about harold and kumar go to white palace or something or what castle i can't remember what that movie's name was in any case but you know so they have to make their way there rakhil and kayla they've been talking about this for a long time and we kind of mentioned it last week and we were saying will they be that team that every time they play they say they want to get that first place they get so close they've learned from their mistakes and all these kind of

06 Things but they always fall short they finally managed to get into first place here and i think a lot of it had to do with the fact that they just got out of that rock challenge before everybody else you know a little bit a little bit of luck not taking anything away from the skill that it required to stay ahead of the most dominant team full this season pen and kim you know it still had to take some skill to stay ahead of them but they end up not making mistakes and getting through to the end and actually getting this first place so what do you think of killing kayla as a team now do you think this is going to give them the confidence they need to actually challenge for this thing and become the fourth all-female team to ever win the amazing race definitely i mean just hearing that line alone i was like oh my god i want that to happen but no i like him and pen i like that i like all of them so it's an even race as i said last week i think even ryan and dusty can make up time even if they're leaving third obviously there's going to be raquel and kayla and then kim and penn and arun and natalya leave together because then dusty and ryan iii so i'm just wondering about the timing in between them all if it's 15 minutes they can have a chance if it's half an hour it's a bit tricky and it's going to be interesting because it's a two hour finale towards the end so i'm assuming

26 That the first hour or 40 minutes of actual run time would be getting rid of that first team before they get back on the final plane that's going to go back to america do we know where they're going in america yet have you been sort of i think i could look i tend to not look one on rff once it gets to this point because i don't want to be spoiled yeah so i don't know i did know but i can't remember now yeah that's okay i was just sort of curious to know where they would be heading to in the states but you know they've got a whole leg i guess and i'm wondering if this means that the final leg will be in greece as well which how many countries have we actually visited at this point i feel like it's only like four maybe five at a stretch like it's not been that many countries there aren't that many no one where did we go from london so it was london to scotland yes scotland to switzerland if i remember correctly and then switzerland to greece switzerland is there was there one in between i'm sorry guys if you're listening no i don't think that was i think it was just some degrees yeah that's it because there's two legs least amount of countries ever but at least we've got a race i mean australian while he went in australia australian race

46 So look they did better than that can canada for years have only done canada you know amazing race in canada so i mean they've still managed to do more than what i think most shows would have been able to do with the circumstances that were out there and the restrictions you know they did a pretty good job in regards to being able to go to a few different places but you know it is interesting because in some ways i feel a little bit robbed of seeing them navigate some of these more difficult places but i don't think we're going to be seeing even if the amazing race comes back i think it's going to be a while still before we see teams race india or go through some of the african countries and things like that i think like we have to get used to this is going to be a new normal for maybe a season or two yeah i know it's quite sad but at least we still get a race and we still get challenges and we still get you know the teams you want to root for on the ones that you know you don't there we go i just put an american saying in there we do not say that in australia it's not good to say that here so yeah i'm happy if there's a race any kind of race except when it's something like canadian amazing race which just stays in canada even when there isn't a pandemic because they can't be bothered leaving so yeah now michelle we need to talk about my favorite scene of this whole

06 Episode and we haven't spoken about that yet and that was ryan and dusty on their way running to the finish line getting help from a local doggo that is helping them run to the pit stop and he becomes a part of ryan and dusty's team there for a little bit what a great scene it was so random but i absolutely loved ryan and dusty's response to it well one of them was running with his hand down by his side and i think oh my god that dog's going to attack him or something he's going to grab his hand and i'm thinking but can you just imagine the poor cameraman is running beside the dog and he's trying to get the dog and the team and he's still running there i'm wondering if the dog ever tried to get the cameraman or the sound guy it would have been the funniest thing to see future advice paul get some gopros put them also local dogs get them to run with the races out there you know your cameraman deserve a break you know after that but it was it was a lot of fun i enjoyed that little scene i enjoyed how they responded to it i'm a big animal lover myself so seeing that kind of stuff on the show was really cool and so random like i mean you just don't expect it you know getting a dog like we've seen locals help people to the finish line before but never a dog being the guide for the guys as they're running to the finish line now again like i said i mean at the end

26 Here aruna natalia great job on them they've kept coming back up this is the best placement they've had since league two which i didn't even realize that they finished in third place in league two but they mentioned it in this episode that they've equalled their best placement in the race so it's great to see them actually make it and i've got a sneaky suspicion that we're going to see like i still i wish i wasn't so pessimistic but i just think ryan and dusty they're not going to be in the final three but i really want them to be there i really want them to be there and i feel like kim and payne i think kim and pen if i had to go down who i think is going to be the winners this season came in pain for me ideal i think raquel and kayla's going to be the team that gets close aruna natalia probably sneaking in there in third and we see potentially ryan and dusty not getting in there they've been trying so hard but i feel like they just have it hasn't been happening for them i don't see them as this dominant team that full sees i don't know where that comes from i know i still see them being in the final three though i hope so i really do i really want ryan and dusty to get there because i like them as a team you know and there's nothing against aruna natalia i think we had this conversation last week where i said you know it's harder for me as a fan if you've been out of the game and you've you know been saved a few times like i'm less like oh man like i'm going to feel good about this when

47 As a fan watching it but i will still respect it because it's not an easy game you deserve it for you to get into the final three you have to work for it no one's giving it to them you know what i mean they have to they have to deserve to get there and they have to finish the finish line before all the other people that they're racing against but i really think that you know kim pen but i can now for the first time i can see a possibility for ricky and kayla because they finally got the bogey off they're back they're finally finished in first place you know they spoke about the fact that they could be the fourth all-female team to win which would be amazing for them to be the fourth team and then we've also seen a different sight to dusty now which if it was only he's this crazy guy with a lot of testosterone that you know celebrates really hardcore and everybody responds negatively to that we would have looked at them differently but i feel like a win would feel better now because you're like look at this guy you know he's had some issues back in the day he's worked through that he's grown up he's trying to be an example for his son you know and everybody loves ryan already you know i think that fans would actually not be too angry at a ryan and dusty fan sorry win at this stage yeah i don't think they would be either because they aren't your typical alpha males that have been in other seasons they've just got a bit more of a story especially because of ryan so i don't see them as a typical college alpha male team

07 That come along and blitz everybody they've got a bit of character lovable nikki here says in the chat i think that anthony and spencer not returning hurt ryan and dusty that direct competition was driving them i think ryan and dusty make it into the final three and it's a good observation i mean i think that we as viewers it hurt us as viewers not seeing anthony and spencer back because we want to see the show be as competitive as possible like i really i don't know what it is but it's the season's been dominated by two teams right you've got kim and pen who's won four times you've got ryan and dusty's won three times and i think kayla and raquel has won once so those are the only teams that have actually won legs getting into the end but it's very much dominated between those two teams at this stage it takes a little bit of the mystery out of it if you know hey it's just between these teams going into the end look at least it's not just one team you know you know there are some times there's one team you think is going to win the whole time and then they end up winning and it's like oh there's nothing different but i think we've got we've got a good race on our hands to the end that's why i want ryan and dusty and kim and penn and kayla and raquel in the final because i think that would be the most competitive final to have all of them there and then it looked quite interesting because in the next on part of the episode

27 It had some past footage of previous finales did you notice that yes and it looked like they this is very much in bad taste but it looked like they had to tick a pinata or something like that at the same instant that she was hit by the watermelon i could be wrong but it looked like they were waiting for that instant i'm like what are you doing i remember seeing that scene the first time i ever watched a forgotten name bless a soul but like getting hit by a watermelon getting hit by a watermelon in the face like that and being able to get back up and race like i mean i'm surprised the girl didn't get a concussion from it look and her friend was saying come on get back up there that was that was an amazing season by the way there was just so many good seasons back in the day i need to go back and watch some of those earlier seasons but yeah it's quite interesting that they brought that back in so you know claire you put up watermelon amazing race and there's just a million videos imagine being remembered your whole reality tv career is being remembered for the being the girl that got hit by the watermelon in the face look that's one way to be remembered i think some people would rather that than nothing

47 You know than having a purple edit yeah 100 like i mean we won't get into that with other shows that we're watching at the moment but you know quite exciting news a little bit off topic here but i spoke to you briefly about this but the challenge which is a massive show over in australia is now also going global oh sorry so over an mtv and america is now going global and they're going to be including the challenge cbs the challenge australia argentina in the uk which i'm very excited from a global perspective there's a few people that are very sort of they're a little bit anxious about seeing how the cs show is going to turn out who would be the challenges so the amazing race previous players that you'd like to see migrate over because apparently rumor in the endo is that it's going to be amazing race survivor and amazing race players that are going to be taking part in the challenge cbs amazing race australia players no sorry not australia well australia but amazing race australia players will probably be included in the australian version i'm assuming jesus i'm trying to think who obviously david from survivor australian survivor yes i had him on the thumbnail for those who don't know who he is for our podcast on the challenge a little bit of clickbait god lydia

08 Lassala she did she didn't win or anything but she was like a challenged beast and you need someone who's good at physical stuff more than strategy really in the challenge gosh i don't think it's luke's kind of show mm-hmm i don't think he's i don't know he's doing a lot of fun he's doing a lot of he's doing a lot of physical stuff these days he's yeah he's got to look fitness on instagram and all that kind of stuff he's real into that type of stuff now hangs out with quite a bit lockheed's been on every show possible in australia he's probably locked in to be honest but yeah you're right he's an ss right now i haven't watched it yet so don't spoil anything i've got to go watch that i don't watch it because they just swear so much someone wanted to post something on the australian survivor page about lockheed normally i put up anything about survivor stars no matter what they're doing i couldn't post this the swearing was insane and i thought these poor people if they click on this to watch it they're just going to go what the hell am i watching anyways it should be exciting it should be exciting to see which of the australian players make their way over there it should be interesting to see what the cbs show ends up being like but definitely

28 Some interesting you know thoughts maybe even a question we can throw lulula's way find out if they're going to be doing any other reality tv after this but you know i think we've pretty much covered everything we can on this episode it was a very straightforward episode unless there's anything else that you feel like we missed it was fun to watch but ultimately there's no outcome this episode again all of the teams are in it's a non-elimination i wasn't as angry at this one because i'm happy that dusty and ryan does not go out on a stupid rock challenge you know turning rocks for a coin like yeah i'd rather have them go out in a different way than based on pure luck hmm exactly i was pretty i laughed at the end when phil said to arun natalia how was your day and he said it was pretty decent until turning the rocks they didn't do anything until they turned the rocks yeah am i correct i think no they were just driving they were driving for like they drove 30 miles to get there so it was a nice drive they had a scenic route probably and do you think they are really picking the place where they stay the night yeah i'd have thought about that as well i was like i don't know about this because surely this is only for show they've got a sponsor travelocity but surely they are very much regimented in regards to

48 These are the hotels that have got enough not that i'm saying that the other hotels over in greece please don't come at me anybody from greece isn't up to these standards but i'm sure that they would have been all over where they stay making sure that they're that it's safe and you know quarantine wise so nobody gets coded and there wouldn't have been many visitors anyway so they probably could have got in maybe the three hotels that they picked for them but i'm just wondering if they were able to pick one of three hotels or whether they were just saying that and then they all went to the same hotel i found it quite interesting when they all got sort of together at the rock challenge and everybody was doing the same challenge i think that may have been the only time this season where like i guess it was maybe once before because apparently lulu and lala only met kim and pen for the first time two episodes ago because kim and pen has been that far ahead the whole time the domadis yeah so very rarely have kim and pen really felt the pressure of having to perform while other teams are breathing down their neck you know and they've just in general dominated that much and you've got to ask yourself if they didn't limit the starting lines and sort of couple different pieces together how far would kim and pen have been ahead by now they could have been hours ahead of team 2 by this point but they're getting they're actually getting

08 Pulled back by having to go with raquel and kayla for most of the last three legs you know so it's interesting how this new format to the show i think is less fair but it's better for us as viewers because there is a chance someone can catch up and we see people closer to each other but as a racer i would hate it oh i know any anything that sort of equalizes you or nearly equalizes you sort of takes away any shine you had from a win or being in front of everybody else but sometimes i have to do it with the logistics yeah 100 all right michelle well it was good talking to you about this week's you know the amazing race we've got a week before we talk about the finale you and me are going to switch up our time for doing the live a little bit we're going to be talking well we're going to have two i'm going to be fortunate enough to talk to queen michelle twice next week on saturday because i'll have michelle with me when we interview the twins which is going to be amazing and then after that we'll do a recap of the finale as well so we'll probably interview the twins just before we do our own recap of the finale but we it's maybe a good time because we could ask them a few questions on their thoughts about the finale as well so we'll see how that turns out but i'm looking forward to it should be a lot of fun good it'll be good i mean i haven't interviewed a team

29 For a while and i think the last one it didn't go for too long but a team that i did for the amazing race australia years ago that interview went for two and a half hours wow yes that is that is crazy lululu if you're listening to this don't worry i won't keep you busy for two and a half hours unless you want to talk that much because you do look like you're talkers you know so but i mean i'm not gonna drag it out from my in regards to that they've been really cool to chat with even you know offline and getting this set up and i'm really excited because this will be the first time that i get to interview a usa reality tv personality so really looking forward to that and hopefully you know we can reach out to a few more of the other contestants like i'd love to talk to kim and pen love to talk to ryan and dusty or whoever else from the season if you're listening to this i'll talk to any of you because it's been a great season and i'm invested i've invested nine weeks of my life already into the show you know so it'll be cool to chat to you and get to understand what it was like to be out there to do this race but yeah that's it for this week guys thank you so much archangel lovable nikki for being here in the life jerome thank you so much and we'll catch you guys next week keep an eye on the channel i will post it up as soon as i can in regards

49 To when we're going to go live for all of those but it should be 8 p.m eastern standard time friday evening for the twins interview and that should be live as well so you can come and ask your own questions if you're available at that time so 8 pm eastern standard time in the us not hour time yes i was just because i saw you very confused there no i'm thinking that doesn't work for me i thought we were doing something different no i'm making i'm doing the conversion in my head because i'm sure there's going to be some us fans that are going to look out for that as well but we'll catch you guys next time thank you so much michelle it's been great talking to you as always and we'll talk to you next time
