5:34 Waiting for Australian Survivor over here in Florida too there we go Darren well if you want people to hang out with to talk about Australian Survivor the lives may be a little bit bad TimeWise for you to be able to follow along but definitely you can go and check out the Recaps afterwards as well we've got a fun panel with our boy mcky always bringing the chaos as a part of that trial as well so that should be fun Dan is saying I was genely not happy with Ed last night he's in my top three of guys I want to make it to the end he could have made a huge move here but for some reason he fell in line with J yeah should we just start there I mean we like to talk about all the topics and it doesn't matter the order we'll use the live audience throughout this live to kind of guide our conversation at times as well but should we start with ED you know like a lot of Ed conversation it's hard not to talk about him he's won now four out of the last five daes clearly a beast bringing the competitive side you know the Wolverine or Batman like he likes to call himself of the challenge but he's making some fatal errors in judgment I think like this move to not change things up when all of his people in his Alliance previously voted him n where do you sit on Ed like as a character are you high on him you know strategy wise

6:54 Let's just rip off the Band-Aid and start talking about Ed and his performance in this episode and this season to be perfectly honest with you I probably would have done the same thing after seeing Jay's little cry tantrum going at kylin like at the start of the episode I'm like I'm not would that have made you scared if you saw scared I just uncomfortable I just like I don't want to see Jay cry again that was really cringeworthy and I'm like you know what I'm just going to save him so I don't have to put up with the Tantrums that are going to be in this house cuz Jay went off like a baby man like I've got a 5-year-old boy and a 2-year-old boy and they don't act like Jay so maybe that was the motivation there but as far as pure strategy goes for his own game I mean Ed's in a really difficult spot he can flip the house but he flips the house he's on the bottom of that side he keeps the house where it is he's the bottom of that side do I flip to the bottom of this side or do I flip to the bottom of that side like so which side so which side do you think Ed can beat so if he's in the bottom off an aaso Zara Raven before she went out did pretty well this season as well and then you know kyin Alliance like that's a pretty heavy hit of cast like probably the best competitors in the house is on the on that side of the house and then who do you really have on the side that he's currently with like I would say the only real threat probably for him is someone like

8:15 Emanuel probably I don't know who else in that side is really J Jay maybe I don't know like I mean it's a bit more unknown but it's clear that the side of the house who wanted him to flip they have the strongest competitors at least yeah like we definitely want to see the house flip because everyone in the audience at the moment whether it's because of the edit or because of Jay and himself are against the J power J Michelle power Alliance like usually people go for the underdog and right now that is the Colin Haria Zaza or was the kin harass Zaza sort of group but if you're looking across down the line and you're Ed and you're going I've just won four out of five dailies if I get to the end here who am I beating and who can potentially beat me I wouldn't want to go with haras and kylin they're the absolute like right now they're the three that I think have a real chance at winning this the others are all sort of maybe Outsiders but kylin Hario and Ed have to be put at the top of the three who could win the whole thing and does he want to run against the two people that could potentially beat him I can see why he did it like does it suck that Jay gets another sort of reprieve when there was the chance finally again to flip the house properly but he's making decisions for him and I'm looking across the board and going that's who I'd want to run against Jay and you know Cory and Emanuel and

9:35 I'd take my chances against them I came into this not knowing because I literally just finished the episode myself and I haven't had much time for it to sink in or digest the move but I came in kind of feeling a little bit low but I think I felt low from the perspective of a fan sitting on the outside I don't feel low about it if I was Ed playing the game because I do think that people on that side in general they're not the best competitors like you can take Michelle he can take J onen has proven that she's not good when it comes to endurance so he'd be more thaning to go up against that burner like she's still on this season right like I think every now and again we see burner we haven't seen burner's chicks in a long time so maybe the cameras aren't focused on her as much on the Daily challenges as like they were in the beginning of the season and then like I said I feel like Emanuel probably like I mean he hasn't really much but he's there and we know he's a competitor he's capable it was interesting to see Emanuel andasio go head-to-head because a lot of people were saying like who of these two are going to be the rookie to beat this season and they went head-to-head in their heat on the daily mission here with haasio slapping his cheeks all the way to the end and beating him you know on the head to-head so again that one goes toaso as well I do want to catch up to

10:55 A few of the comments coming in here Willie saying Jay is taking things personal he got mad at kin like you said in the beginning here as well Kahuna and he needs to chill out you know saying Jay going off on kin for laughing at Assaf praying for his family was so weird kin didn't do that if Jay is so worried about children why was he going after single mom Melissa spare me the hypocrisy with Jay is thick this season because I mean he even went onto the professionals and I think that's why a lot of people are just like even for me I'm like you're Survivor but I don't know man I'm finding it hard to shout for you this season him saying I'm not playing an emotional game to the confessional I'm playing a calculated game but then you see this emotional Outburst in the beginning of the game that clearly has clouded his judgment you know in a certain way here when it comes to Kin and for some other reason kylin seems to always catch the Strays as well Kahuna like he's always the one people always want to like have fights with her map against masaf and him at like a showdown J and him having a showdown now I'm pretty sure him and Cory's had like beef before like what is it about K where people is he just too direct like or I don't know like he just gets a lot of this heat coming his way the whole season I feel like well he's on the other team right like it's teams it's you against me it's your people against my people and look who's on his team it's him and horia

12:16 Horia doesn't say a word right so kylin like unfortunately yeah like he is the pseudo leader of a group where he's going to cop the Strays and you know when you have emotional outbursts you throw it the first person you see and kylin happened to laugh at the wrong time apparently and CED all of Jay's tantrum which was yeah it's K haras is probably the leader in terms of like actually no kylin is just as much he's driving strategy harasi doesn't do anything as far as strategy socializing kylin like we saw last week they said kin's trying to build an army like he's trying right so that's why he's seen as a and Jay is the default pseudo leader of the of the other side so they go at each other yeah 100% reality realness here says ited scolded the fans for not liking his move it was rather annoying and unlikable I'm assuming that was on Twitter or something like that I don't follow throughout the weekdays I just don't have the time to look into that as much but I do think like when it comes to these kind of things like it's a lose situation for any player to go up against the fans directly because the player has more knowledge than the fans about what happened behind the scenes they're there they're there 24 hours day we get to see what is it 60 Minutes of runtime probably in a week so our realities

13:36 Can be very you know with reality realness our realities are really different as fans like we see Snippets like even the comment saying about kin not having laughed at Assaf for praying I think that again we don't we it might not have been shown I don't think he would have laughed at him praying I just think he would have laughed at being happy that they that they got out of it or something and Jay took it the wrong way but if you go up against the fans like you're always going to come up second best I feel like especially the passionate fan base that are online because you know the challenge fandom is it's not as it's not as intense as Big Brother fandom I feel like but it's up there at least yeah I also like as someone who has been a fan for a long time and does a podcast talking about reality competition shows casual very casual I'm not a big fan or I don't appreciate it when not just reality TV but like it happens in sports and stuff a lot as well when they go well you haven't played you can't talk like you have no idea you don't know anything and we opinion you're allowed to have an opinion and a lot of the times it's based on especially us on the on the TNT like mate when I'm not feeling so spicy it's not necessarily personal attacks it's usually about strategy it's about gameplay it's about that sort of thing so I think

14:56 You know expertise built up over 20 years of watching it you can see the strategy you can see the meta like we' probably know more about the game than some of the people that do play it I mean basically what you're saying what you're saying kuna is like would you phone Ed for a strategy sit down session before playing the challenge probably not but would you hang out with him over a barbecue and have a couple of cold ones yeah he seems like a fun guy he seems like a guy you have a lot of fun with you know I'd throw sticks he'd run and get them like he'd come back [Laughter] I could see that says don't know about anyone else but I gave up on Ed Cen two episodes ago I gave up on Colleen a long time ago like I think I've been brutal that's where my spicy takes have been but every time she talks I'm like why are we getting this confessional like it's air time she didn't do too bad this episode like after last week's minial and the pulling on the Rope I thought like the standing thing would the paddle board would ruin her but she did pretty good like she hung in there more better than you know Mariah and Raven and stuff the person who did the best on the paddle board that I did not expect was Michelle like she got second in her heat and she was even saying like this is a physical and I mean you can say a lot of things about Michelle and we've gone back and forth

16:17 On Michelle as well but I think this episode Michelle stocks would have rised in a lot of people's minds because she was giving it back to Jay she wasn't taking his crap she was telling him like listen you're tanking my game with your game we're Associated people see us as a unit and you know he's like trying to tell her that she's not having his back and she's like you wouldn't even have people if I wasn't here and I do believe that I think Michelle is a social Queen and that was like a bit of Queen status coming out from her there standing up for herself against Jay because Jay's the one he's the reason that they're in this terrible position that they're on currently because he pissed off Olivia and N to the point where they have left him and they're no longer with that Alliance they were solid numbers for them and suddenly it's where it should have been a forone conclusion that Michelle and J would make it to the end the waters are now muddy it's not an easy clear road to the end anymore yeah it went from the Fantastic Four to basically two of them left and they're swearing at each other you know at that point they're swearing at each other they're screaming at each other and that's the two left of the Fantastic Four so yeah I think it's very interesting we've got Elise who joined us wouldn't be here but pause my cardio to catch the live I really appreciate you for doing that and hello welcome to the live love

18:57 What it is with Ed's missing opportunity to come across as like a there's something missing like he's got the physicality he's reasonably good with the onliners and confessionals like I mean there's to me there's not much to hate about Ed like you know I like him even if he said whatever he said online like I'm sure it's not as bad but you know I'll go and try and see if I can find the Twitter and how bad he went on the fan that had a comment they people like if you're out there playing a game and you're constantly hearing this negativity around you're probably going to clap back at some point I don't think you should but I could forgive you for feeling a bit frustrated when fans don't see things the way you do you know to although to be on the fan side a little bit in this one Ed in as a praise to Ed you're right he hasn't done anything bad to make people hate him but the fact that people are actually calling him on a game move is so rare for the challenge and like the reason why he's in this position is because he's not having the guts to stand up for his choice like what people want him to do he's still standing up for his own choices for his own game but it's a game move at least they're not calling him out for some silly thing that he's done that's fair out of the house or even within the house that was you know personal level or whatever it's game like at least there's that I'm pleased that he's not coping hate for being you know for

21:37 Round table or whatever they called it when they had to do the votes like they could see he was being you know smug when he got his way in that situation what did you think of that move to put narice in a position where she had to make a very difficult decision it felt really like pett and unnecessary and for someone like I know he's saying that she's not in the Fantastic FL anymore but if he had any chance of like repairing restoring that or even to the point where you're just not actively targeting each other like that's gone like he put her in an incredibly difficult position and made her choose against horo like that felt like it was really like why like why did you need to end it that way you could have ended it with you know I guess it had to if they wanted hassia there but if they ended up picking Zaza then it would have been theice you know Hario and kylin in the end you would have got the same Hario and kylin but you didn't have to basically take a shot at n and forer into that position making The Grudge even bigger you know I'm assuming I'm not I don't know but I'm assuming narice probably would have been slightly better with going in than actually making that choice between Olivia and harass I'm not sure

22:57 But yeah it was tough like it's hard it's never a good thing going in it's never like you get the hell out of danger if you can like I don't think you want I mean there's a there's a reason they brought in the skulls because players who are good at the game realized that the best way to win is by not going into an elimination or in a position where you could be taken out so they had to force people to go in to play a final so I think the best move is always to stay out of it obviously a difficult decision between Hario and Olivia I wasn't sure where she was going to go because she had this message from home from her brother telling her that Olivia's been talking about her behind her back so you know that's still somewhere behind somewhere down there in her mind like in the back end of her mind that's still there you know lurking and she's got I think real feelings for aaso I believe they're still together even now so she wants to bolt something with this guy and Hario probably you know we give a lot of to Ed and his bad move was it the right move for rasio it was the it was the nice move the nice guy move from Ario to say put me in take one of the girls out I'm good to go so taking that pressure off n very nice guy move and he clearly backs himself but I don't know if it's

24:17 The right move to go in that situation and if that is what they should have done but you know obviously a tough moment here for narice she has a moment afterwards as well where they have to console her and then one of the biggest betrayals like Al girl Zaza she gets done Dirty by James in this move and you know coming into this season I was like kind of a James fan I was like yeah he did enough like even though you know he went out prematurely in The Challenge UK I kind of enjoyed him I thought he would be a big character fun to watch this season he's been a complete flop in my mind like you know he has just folded over and the puppy dog thing with Mariah like them still trying to push this Mariah James romance on us it's boring I don't care and I really don't care for the fact that he doesn't have his own mind and can't play his own game at least you know this is what I liked about all you know challenges that have F fallen in love or being in relationships you know you when they're in a relationship they still play their own game like they're still strong minded this guy's just following Mariah around on a leash to be fair if Mariah asked me to do anything I'd probably do it too like Mariah's like do this like okay I'll do like James is he was G do you remember

25:38 As well like you mentioned James being on the UK Survivor UK challenge the very first episode there was a girl that he was going to hook up with yeah and she kind of turned against him because he went look I don't want to get involved in Rel I'm focused on the game I can't be distracted by that and then she got pissed off because of it first episode straight up he's like I'm we've been flirting but I'm not getting and then he comes on the flagship mari's like it's over he like I will do anything I will say anything I will cow toow I will scrape I will bow whatever you want Mariah is but is this the guy is this the guy who gets the call back is this the guy with Productions like oh yeah you know great TV centralizing TV right now cuz you got to play for that call back to a degree as well there's going to be one win like what has James done this whole season that has been significant nothing like he could have had a backbone here and stood up for Zaza his little sister and saved her in this moment and at least that would have created a moment where they would have been like we got to get them back on the show on r or dies or something like I just don't see him because this thing with Mariah's not going to last we both know it's a it's a showmance it's part of this season and then next season Mari will hook up with someone else like this is not going to be a thing two three seasons

26:58 From now I feel like it's also a pretty easy defense or easy cell like if Mariah turned around and go James what the hell I told you to do narice why you why are you saving Zaza he could be like I get it but come on like she's my UK person I have one person like let me save one person besides you Mariah like that's my one thing and he couldn't even do that like I think she would have been like yeah I get it like she's not that g like it would have been a pretty easy defense for him to justify without coping much heat I think and he still wouldn't do it still didn't do it he's a lot of people a lot of people in the in the chat saying give the UK spot up to someone else bring back Kyle a lot of people not impressed with him at all at this stage so I just don't think he's someone that has given us much so paba says agree Chris I was so upset rasio played hero again but that's what that's who he is he's honorable he's definitely building great resume for future call backs from TJ and yeah I mean let's talk about a little bit here you get you get the three you know challenges The Three Musketeers TJ's favorite three challenges in the game at this point he even said it himself going into this do or die kind of elimination that they have to do against each other

28:18 How crazy is it to see like even TJ is bored by the other side of the house as much as we as fans are that he's actually telling these guys I don't want to see I want to see you get to the end like I'm shouting for you're probably the competitors in the right now I kind of felt like and hear me out on this one I feel like this is the birth of a new power Trio potential future contenders that will come back and play the game again regardless on if they win this season or not I don't know why but it kind of got me a little bit when I saw Zaza lose this thing and how they like both kylin and russio did not celebrate how they went over to her embraced her you know told her she did a good thing and she really fought for this thing like it kind of got me in my feels I don't get like that with the challenge but I was like I'm really invested in these three like I want these three to come back and play Future Seasons together because they have now come together you know under a trial of fire being Outsiders being underdogs this whole season so I don't know why like even when nasia was saying Zaza will come back she will be a future Champion like I really want her to be a future Champion like she's got that dog in her she's got that fight and I love these three together what's your thoughts on TJ being so transparent telling them that they're also his favorites and how

29:38 In touch is TJ like I mean he hasn't even seen the show play out but he already knows where the fans will be and who the fans are G to like this season fan like you know as much as he's the host he watches his people and he enjoys them and he likes it and we've seen when he doesn't like it as well he's one to give his I don't know how much of it is him trying to put his thumb on the scale and influence future casting stuff but we always put stock in what TJ says and it's very obvious it's never been so like obvious like for him to be so blatant in saying like letting his feelings known of that they're his favorite like they he wants them to get to the end he wants to see them do well and it's because of effort that they're putting in the fight they're putting in like he obviously goes for the underdog he watches what's going on he's got probably got production in his ear giving him you know details from the house and all that sort of thing but he sees it and he knows what he wants Zaza like he got glowing endorsement she got glowing endorsement as well from TJ I about Zaza's long-term Championship aspirations with her dyslexia like it really is like a grinding halt kind of thing

30:59 In a final like she can get there and she can run and she's a supreme athlete and it's also not like you mentioned a lot Chris about Josh working on his game getting fitter unfortunately for like dyslexia and number I forget what it's called when it's number DXE it's not going to be a thing that will stop her because we've already had but it's also hard to work on has hard to improve on you know what I mean like it's not like you can but have you forgotten we've had a champion that have got dyslexia as well with in recent season yeah like within recent Seasons who is she partnered with to get there doesn't matter you just need to be partnered with the right person yeah she needs a CT yeah maybe kill your camera kuna because I think you're cutting in and out at the moment for your internet just cut your camera for the rest of this but yeah obviously Amber has gone to the end before she's won a CH a season of this while she also from memory struggles with dyslexia herself self as well so I do think that Zaza has the potential and funny enough man like if Wes and her worked out last season that was a strong team like that could have been a team that could have gotten her to the end it would have been a perfect partnership for someone like her to go to the end and win but I'm with Oro Zaza about to come back every season I won't say no same thing I will not say no to that at all will

32:19 Lena saying yes Power Team here Darren says TJ hates quitters and weak as gameplay and how awesome was it for TJ to really get in like I mean obviously Zaza made a bit of a mistake out there by doing the mud the section with the mud on the obstacle course before she had to get over that wall and that wall looked tough I do a lot of Spartan races myself this is right up there with some of the most difficult walls to climb luckily they had a rope we don't always get ropes and Spartan races when you have to run up those walls but you know for her to struggle but not give up take her shoes off go bare feet like that is the kind of Challenger that I like to see that's the Challenger that I can get behind I don't know what man like Zaza you know I'm full team Zaza for future Seasons just based on that and then TJ shouting her on willing her over that wall kin I mean kuna yeah absolutely Zaza is a Perpetual Challenger if she wants it she's got the personality to get on she's a fighter she'll stand up for herself she sticks with her Alliance and she's incredibly competent at the game itself so you know she's only going to get better as far as the strategy inside and strategy goes and if she can slide or skate by some of the puzzles with Partners Etc

33:39 Or she gets a you know it's finally like we know that whether it's random or getting a challenge or a final that's catered to your strength is part of the game it's luck it's whatever it is if you the challenge that's C to you then that's your that's your challenge you know what I mean like so she absolutely has a potential and she has of any female she's got she's got it in Spades like she definitely has it in her to win as long as the circumstances go well for sure she's back I love her yeah while we're on that specific elimination at the end there I liked it immediately going into it I thought Hario was going to be someone that's going to do well at this you know obviously got experience playing in the Spanish or the Spanish show that he plays in right zon or something like that it's called that's a lot of obstacle course running that they have to do as well I don't know how much puzzles are in there but you've got to give respect to raasio because this whole season we've been hearing about how much of a mastermind kin is how smart he is when it comes to puzzles and figuring out all these puzzles really quickly or how to game a specific challenge when they're doing it but Hario beat him oneon-one like actually there was one part they worked together which some people
