1:21 You look very comfortable there you look like you're in your element you're sort of settling in for the for the Long Haul on this podcast yeah I found this right before hitting record well not right before because you guys didn't see this I wanted you to because I wanted to see your surprise because I came in with just a t-shirt and my normal glasses and yeah I call this the polar bear I got this like six Christmases ago this thing is I think we talked I think we talked about it on a one of the first times that like we were hanging out but yeah this is this is long as heck man and I just wanted to wear it yeah like listen how often do you get to wear that bad boy in Florida I mean like yeah even in win days for year Kahuna's in the house as well Kahuna big dog how you doing I'm doing good man I'm also wearing a jumper but it is deserved here at the moment it is Win what's it like over there 21 degrees I don't know but I mean I wake up in the morning and I'm cold anyway so you know I'm doing it so yeah I don't have the same padding I used to well listen I'm sure we're going to warm you up today with all our hot takes when it comes to the challenge All Stars episode 6 because man of man

2:41 Was there a lot of shadiness happening this episode you know people scheming plotting trying to get certain individuals out of the game there's a lot of social maneuvering happening in the in the game it may seem to some people like there wasn't a lot going on but I know nothing would have gone by Drew's eyes he may be wearing the shades but he was his eyes was moving his eyes were moving throughout this going be talking about all of this right so we start off this episode right at the beginning with Leroy coming back they had a lot of fun with him as well K what did you think of Leroy's multiple Tes to do the intro for this episode they had them walking around with the boxing bag and everything that you enjoy it at the end because it's something new they find this season right they're getting the place voicing it's like a voiceover at the end of the or basically probably the end of the season they get them to come back and do these voiceovers I would imagine yeah I dig it like I like that like every show always has to have the previously on and if you can make that thing unskippable and actually entertaining then all the better right and I think the way they do the mistakes and the bloopers and all that it's kind of just indicative of how this season specifically just seems a little bit more free like a little bit more Lucy goosey and they're just happy to roll with it which makes it more endearing to us as people as well like we find that much more entertaining when we know that it's not

4:01 As slick and that they're real people and having fun with it you know yeah I feel like TJ is the one missing out because if he's getting paid by you know how many words he's saying in each episode he's not getting the extra couple of words every episode there so they're like how can we make more with what we have you know basically like how do we budget this thing get the get the cast members themselves to do the previously on the challenge bit so we can pay TJ a little bit less probably not the thing but that's where my mind goes Drew when I don't have TJ doing it himself I think TJ is fine without doing the previous and recap if he can do like the Bob sleding in the daily challenge I mean he would rather do that like multiple times rather than doing being in a vo booth and doing wear costumes I don't want to wear costumes I don't want to be a train conductor yeah fair enough fair enough let's say hello to our fourth member of the podcast today and that is the live stream we've got kiwi on the live stream as well saying like And subscribe yes please everybody if you enjoy the content support the channel it is absolutely free we've got Kristen here we've got lovable Nikki saying hello to everybody we've got th a Darren so many people jumping in you're Jay we've got YouTube Bearcat who else am I missing here let's see Steph Maria

5:22 Is also in the live as well we've got Dreadful Ruby welcome to the live and so many more here today which we can't wait to hear everybody's thoughts of what you know let us know what you were thinking of this episode what did you like what did you not like you know and so forth we've got Fury tiger saying hello everyone nice to see Angel cake wearing the Q skirt today you buy one it's like don't Lum me in with q and by the way I haven't seen Survivor yet and I've stayed off social media this week has been hectic on my end so please don't spoil Survivor in the live today because after this I have to go and watch it I am really nervous this that I'm going to know what happened and I'm very shocked that I don't know what happened yet to be honest but yeah let's get into the challenge you know we had a lot of Nicole and you know Laurel content I think we have to treat this like a Drew and just rip it off get it out of the way early in the podcast so we can talk about some more fun stuff here but Nicole giving us a little bit also of insight in regards to why she is kind of justifying in her mind still playing with Laurel in this season and that is because she's in it for the money and she feels like if they aren't talking they're both not going to get to the end what do you feel like about this whole scenario you know we know we don't ship it we don't like it you know is a Justified because they're playing this game

6:42 For money and Laurel is willing to do whatever at this point I just I just grip my teeth every time they're on screen just because we have record of what's how this all ends up I mean if people are following all this and or just on the Reddit or something like when it was all like falling apart spoiler alert it falls apart in real life you kind of just like grit your teeth because it's just you know what's going to H like what's going to happen you know it's not gonna it's not going well I wish they would like I there has to be more going on in the house or at least some conversations that they could like hone in on if they really wanted to but as challenge fans we know the history and these are two players that are looked to be pretty solid going into this season and so you know they want to hone in on it but I wish they would like hone in on like Adam and Avery who maybe they're not showing too much signs but you could show like they're most likely hanging out with each other I mean it was like last episode when Adam was getting a haircut from Leroy and Avery was just hanging around them so you know they're having conversations they're talking with each other I wish they would show a little bit more seedlings of the those kind of relationships rather than honing in on just Laurel and Nicole and then the and cam stuff I wish they would just like Branch out a little bit

8:02 More you have so many people left on this season let's show a little bit more yeah I totally agree and you can see all the time like you said Avery and Adam they're kind of gravitating towards each other they're always together on screen at different scenarios you see them sitting together or things like that so there must already be some conversations happening there and at least that's one we know that is worked out long term so would be better to see a little bit more of that I don't know if that says a lot about their game maybe both of them don't go very far and the edit doesn't want to focus on them I don't know it's a it's an interesting choice what they're doing here with the Nicole and Laurel content but I know everybody here in the life like myself included like Kahuna we all are not here for it but we are here for workout segments and we love to see the workout segments angel cake none of us are as dedicated as you when it comes to actually you know putting your body on the line for your viewers and actually you know doing some of the workouts that the challenge has thrown at you in the past with your videos have you created the Bulgarian bag yet that Steve created in this episode and will you be doing we need to know will they be content angel cake of you shirtless swinging the Bulgarian bag around for the viewers I mean unless Rachel Robinson and the challenge will collab for one more season and then Steve is put on there I don't think I will be

9:22 I have not done the B caring back unfortunately what was your thoughts on that unorthodox method of training it seems to be working for Steve so far right because he's clearly the person to beat like I reckon he's the I chose lery as my number one guy for the season you know I think Chantel was high on him from the start in our first draft and clearly she's the one that's right myself and angel cake have been making fun of her being so high on that and we have egg on our face right now because you know he is by far the challenge Beast this season he's winning all the Arenas man I was stoked with Steve because I think I got him as my fifth pick or like fairly down the picking order so to have him getting a bit of content getting some elimination wins I'm really happy with Steve he's he does look like he said in the first episode like after getting trucked by de gosh I yeah Tech he getting destroyed by Tech he kind of wanted to trim down and come in Fighting Fear he's made Bulgarian bags I kind of had a little weird moment where I like the joke he said where he had he carries tape duct tape and zip ties and stuff and I was like in my head I went like this is a very small Niche community that I really enjoy called EDC which is everyday carry

10:43 And this but he had to put the disclaimer out there like hey it's not creepy which I was like because I didn't go there at first I was like oh yeah that's really creepy but the fact that he carries duct tape and zip ties is part of like everyday carry kind of thing it's a it's utilitarian people that carry like have a almost like a little pack or a go bag that makes them prepared for everything and we got Steve in the wildlife R like foraging and doing all this stuff it was cool I like bit of stve content it was fun yeah no 100% YouTube b cat coming in with the smoke for my number one pick here saying who's Leroy oh the guy who came in last all the time so you know are we forgetting that Leroy you know if he has a bad season which he's not having the greatest season he did win against Brandon I guess in the arena which now means he's got a star Drew but you know if he ends up falling flat this season and it hasn't been that impressive like does do we suddenly start saying this like do we forget that Leroy is the Beast do we forget all of the previous Seasons where he did really show up no but it's shocking and disappointing you know it's coming into the season he has Cam and you're thinking well this dude has played on at least season 36

12:03 He got to a final he finished technically second but officially third place and you just think like okay well lero is coming in he should be able to do something and then every single episode except for one I think he's been in the losers group and possibly able to send in I you here's the thing at least he's won something at least he has a star people are going to pile on to me because I had the third pick on the men's side or the second pick on the men's side I think and I've had Brad and he's been absolutely tragic on the on the season I mean what the heck is this man doing I actually feel like somebody's paying him to throw challenges he's doing so poorly I mean yeah Okay C can I just we're gonna get into it but like on the daily challenge he's just standing there like looking back and forth there's clearly a seat open in the middle of everybody sitting down yet the dude can't the dude passes it like three different times it's just sit down just sit down what the hell there some questionable Cognitive Behavior at the moment ridiculous his body is there too much blood in other parts of his body true that no it's like his body is there but like his mind's not there he's not

13:23 In the game like he's running off in the wrong direction when everybody's running to get to the seats you know Laurel's got to keep him in check like seeing him and luro alers was absolutely shocking to me when I saw that team I thought physically they're going to Beast this one they're going to be really good but the guy is not on and like it even I think went over to when he came back to season 39 as a champion you could still see it's like he's lost a couple of yards and I don't know why like it's happened so suddenly because it wasn't that long ago that we thought with Jody he was actually a contender he was doing extremely well in that Allstar season so I don't know what's happened to him but The Fury tiger wolf here in the chat is saying do you think all the top female Challengers will start avoiding partnering with Brad and the dailies now Kahuna do you feel like that is the direction that they'll go in based on the performances that we've seen so far I mean they have to go off the evidence he's giving them right like it's so hard to go oh well he was good a few years ago when you know this season I'm just seeing him falling his face constantly it's hard to look past that but I don't know there's you know you got to pick somebody and I guess at some point there may be something that Brad will excel at but so far he's not showing it which is it is completely shocking and weird because yeah I mean he was our number

14:43 One male pick wasn't he was over Leroy yeah no he was he two no Brad was second I was the second one for the men and yeah I couldn't pick Leroy so I picked Brad which seems to be tragic which I would have done preseason that was absolutely the right choice I mean technically you did for the trio draft you picked BR when I picked Leroy so yeah there you go so yeah like he I don't there's no explaining it like he's just he's having a you know is Brad doing this like I'm just g to try and get into Brad's head here the strategy side of it drew I know you're a man like myself you love the strategy is Brad doing this on purpose because he keeps getting taken out before the end every season he plays he's normally a pretty big threat he does well on the daes in these Allstar seasons do you think he's trying a reverse Uno on them here trying to downplay his Threat Level so he can sneak into a final just to surprise us in the end and actually do well because it feels like it's like you said he's standing there's an open chair he's on purposely you know he's purposely throwing it at this point because how can you not just go and sit down it seems too obvious that maybe he's playing dumb this season do you think there's potential for this yeah I just don't think I can give Brad that much credit because the thing is like

16:03 I and I want to say he's strategic but I just don't think that is Brad is the kind of guy that's like Brad goes Brad plays Brad wins like that's all like on his checklist that's how it is that's how it's phrased and that's all he does he wants to go in he wants to go in hard and sometimes harder is not better sometimes it's just like you got to put your mind into it and this challenge isn't even that hard of a challenge to give it's ridiculous and speaking of Brad and that I mean the other the other idea for coming on to this was just wearing a washcloth so you should be thankful that I'm wearing this polar bear suit yeah no 100% I mean definitely it was Ryan and Derek who really appreciated it with Veronica when he walked out so he's there for other reasons he's the Eye Candy of this season he's not there to win challenges but he's still giving this is the thing this is what makes Brad an exceptional Challenger and an exceptional contestant on The Cast like he's a man of many talents you know if he's not going to perform in the dailies if he's not going to dominate that way he's going to give the people what they want and that is walking around in a very small towel and showing off his body so that at least people are getting that content Kahuna alluded to some of the other content you know that people already got who knows maybe the next move here for him is to start that only fans account you know

17:23 Like he's setting things up he's putting the wheels in motion for the fans knowing truly on the pulse of what the really want to see here this season but yeah let's talk a little bit about the daily because there wasn't much that happened prior to the Daily really and we've started talking about it already how did you feel about it drew that you quite enjoy this we've had a couple of Stadium dailies in the past as well and I feel like the last one that we had was back in South Africa in the challenge World Championship as well so I don't know what it is with going to South Africa and doing these big Stadium sort of dailies but how did you feel about it did you feel like it hit the mark for you as a viewer I did I like this one I like the idea of the musical chairs I kind of like musical chairs no matter what but put in the stadium setup I think it tests your stamina your speed as well as your eye to detail because if you're not sitting in the exact seats I mean we saw Adam was just sitting just outside thinking that the whole row was where it was at but actually you had to know that the seat just inside the first seat was there so I think it was really strong we got to see some other players like show off some really good abilities like Derrik was very impressive during this challenge who would have known like back in the day we didn't hear anything about him being a track star a hurdler it's like where did that come from and then he's coming in way

18:44 After he's been on the main series and he's out here yeah just lapping everybody too bad he was paired up with Jasmine I actually think Leroy hindered cam from winning because it looked like when they were pairing up that cam was already standing next to Derek and they were just going to be partnered up with each other and for some reason Leroy's like high off of winning one elimination was like babe let's do this thing we can't both be in the bottom together we have to win and then it's like dude just let her go if I'm serious if Cam and Derrick are partnered up I think they win this thing or at least they could do something really special on this one yeah but I thought it was really good the second the second phase was interesting I understand why they couldn't just do musical chairs the entire time but altogether I thought the daily was pretty good yeah I score it very high I thought it was a lot of fun my brain immediately went to what stadium is this because obviously I'm from Cape Town I'm trying to figure out I couldn't figure it out at first I thought they were going to go to the big one close to the water which is called Green Point but it wasn't that so my immediately I'm like is this a is this a soccer stadium is this a rugby stadium like what do they so I was like trying to even figure that out I couldn't figure out where the hell they did this which was interesting but the daily challenge itself definitely like you said endurance speed Derek apparently was asked immediately after this daily to do the next season

20:04 Right so they immediately were so impressed by just his performance here that this is the thing that got the producers asking him while this season was filming hey would you be interested we've got this idea for an era season with the different eras would you be interested in something like this so clearly very impressed there and hopefully he does continue to do well because he's someone that has had bad luck on the challenge we know he's gone home early many seasons this is maybe the deepest he's gotten so far in a season I'm not too sure if he's already gotten past that but it's must be up there yeah so overall great daily and then I it's so funny how in sync Cara Maria and myself as kuna because you know I've always loved Cara Maria we all know she's my favorite Challenger out there you know and I'm admiring her this season she's playing a great game but then just like I passed on Ace and shaded Ace she also did that here in this daily just for Ace to have give us some egg on his face because he does end performing extremely well similar to me where I was like acis a kind of like a sabotage to Kahuna and then whole time you believed in him so yeah very interesting Dynamic there to see Ace obviously doing extremely well in this Challenge and again you know I feel like this is the content you wanted from him kuna

21:24 Because we were talking about it last week we were like Ace in places but Ace is not on camera like he's around the house somewhere but finally he's starting to get some content you must be excited by that I was and you know what I'm actually kind of liking him he's got such a chilled out Vibe at the at the end he put on his like pimping costume which I re like yeah I'm just enjoying that a dude that can sleep anywhere much like my toddler and you just find him like sleeping anywhere around the house I'm like this guy's like in a house where you got Laurel and Nicole being disgusting you've got the stress of $250,000 you've got people like Leroy and Brad being what you would we all assumed were quite good at physical beast and Ace is apparently got a sore knee and he's winning challenges and just enjoying life I'm liking him right now and I do like that I actually getting a little bit more content even if it is like him sleeping and not doing a lot as far as you know you know Making Waves in the house or anything he's just kind of flying under the radar and people are really appreciating him yeah and K Maria did enough here to stay out of at least the elimination round and myself and Kahuna spoke

22:44 About this a little bit last week Drew when you weren't on the podcast we mentioned this like is it actually the best thing this season to win dies was the best thing if you could time to be in the middle group because you actually direct where the direction of the strategy is going to go in I almost feel like if you've got a star you almost just want to get into that middle group and you want to direct like for instance K Maria was actually the person with power here getting second where she could direct you know people going in maybe defend her own style we'll talk about all of that strategy but what's your overall feel based now that we've seen a couple of episodes this is episode six do you agree that middle group is actually it's hard to like how do you play for the middle group right instead of going out to win because if you play for the middle group all seen in the bottom so it's a tricky situation to try and navigate but that's kind of my gut feel is that's the pocket you want to be in yeah it benefited Cara this week I mean if you can get into the middle group when there's like six or five total votes I mean you're going to have a lot of sway it was the early the Early group of being in the middle group with like 10 people in it that was like okay I can't I it's trying to hurt cats here if I don't have everybody on my side then it's going to be all over the place but Cara was able to use that to her benefit and it's actually a benefit that she didn't win even though her star was going to be safe she was able to keep her star safe here but yeah

24:04 But here she was able to actually direct the votes and it wasn't completely out of her out of her hands so I think that this week in particular it was really beneficial for her it doesn't sound like she has a lot of fans in the house after the deliberation and how she was like telling people what to do it was never going to be easy because Cara knows how to play this game and some people don't stand as steadfast or has as strong of opinions like Flora is coming from an old school Vibe of like if I say something and I want to do it I'm gonna do it I don't care if you're pushing me I don't care if you're GNA threaten me I don't care I'm just GNA do it so for Avery who you could see was just on the fence she wants to be there for Cam and Leroy but realistically she knows she's not their top one each because that's themselves and everybody else so I could see where that's rubbing her the wrong way but it was just it was just a really good move for Cara to make sure that she got one person that isn't on her side out as well as keeping her Stars safe it's gon to be more difficult I think moving forward in the game right yeah and thank you Dolores for looking into that so she says it's Athlon stadium in Cape Town and I just had a quick look so Athlon Stadium definitely

25:25 Is the stadium that was used there I've never actually been to it before must be like one of the smaller football stadiums in Cape Town that I've never been to but thank you for looking that up totally agree with all of what you said there Drew and I think like f tiger here says car's upping her game this season big time in the deliberations because I spoke about this a little bit with Kahuna last week and I said it all feels right in the world when karia is actually in she's being pushed into a corner she's back in the underdog position she's having to fight you know with her back against the wall that is kind of the current that people have loved over the seasons we always saw her in that position so it's maybe not a position she's been familiar with in her recent seasons on the main show because she got into a place where she was always pretty safe in directing the votes and things like that but this season even though she got her way here like you said there's so many people that have got like their eyes on her and that are targeting her Ryan has said in the beginning of the episode she's someone that is dangerous we need to get R of her in the game we know Cam's no friend of hers at the at this point luroy is not obviously going to be too happy with her Flora was talking to Nicole and Nicole suddenly has got her crossair set on car Maria as well but yeah again like I said at this stage if you want to beat the like if you want to beat the best you got to beat the best so people will have to go past karia in this game and I don't think it's going to be easy

26:45 Kahuna and I think this season is showing us why when you lose old school players like your cams like your Cara maras the players that sort of have been there for quite a few Seasons that have sort of carried at one point both of them were seen as the face of the challenge or the new faces of the challenge you know you lose so much I guess traction and momentum when it comes to Great storytelling like having Cam and karia an opposing forces this season it's the best thing that could have happened for All Stars coming into the season I didn't think it was going to be a thing I thought they were going to work together but the season is interesting because we're like both of them are strategically sound both of them are like challenged beasts they're going head to-head current Maria has now won like round one it was it was it was cam taking a taking a shot at her without her knowing it was coming so she had that then she got one back with getting Leroy in there now she's block cam so it's like 21 for car Maria at the moment who's going to get the next one in here and I'm here for it Kun I think it's making for a very interesting season it really is because like I'm sure the producers are just salivating the fact that Cam and Cara decided to turn on each other so they can get that content because I think like the way I'm looking at if I'm a cynical TV producer kind of mind which is what I do a lot of the times I feel like the single

28:05 Season the single winner sort of concept although I definitely believe was a moneys saving grab I think by doing so actually set Cara up to be that Underdog again which is weird to say because she's only an underdog because she's so not an underdog everyone expects her to win to the point that they're going against her and by putting her in that corner we get that content where Cara is fighting a way out of a corner which you know like you said makes it so much more entertaining and I think it was meant to be maybe the Rivalry was going to be Laurel obviously being one of the other stronger female competitors there but with Laurel being distracted annoyingly by peanut butter that's a shout out to the bakery by the way by being distracted by Nicole they're like what are we going to do now Laurel's like gone she's hopeless on TV we're going to have to use that crappy content and cam steps up to the play says I'll give it to you guys and cam becomes like yeah the one to go against Cara and drive it all they were like thank God yes like we don't have to put like Laurel's not doing it she's not carrying the water this season to go against Cara and I think yeah like Cara recognizes that she's an incredible player and the fact that everyone

29:25 Else on the on the season does too is such a weird thing because the most powerful player the best player on the best Challenger becomes the underdog and a great story just by the fact that she's so good at the game she has to be targeted it's kind of Genius in the way it's kind of all worked out yeah let's read a couple of the comments here coming in Chris saying oh you're trying to piss me off talking about how car performed well enough to get in the middle group but not mention of her partner in the daily who was a partner again must have been somebody very forgettable no listen J Jay obviously I was going to talk about Jay actually next it's funny as soon as we bring a comment up there's so many good comments and we can like dive into it and I wanted to read a few more but since Chris is going that direction what are you guys think about Jay's move to stand with K Maria here because obviously Drew he had to make a decision right he was he was kind of trying to protect Jasmine trying to protect Nicole in the game Nicole's not there for K Maria either so there's two decisions that's going to have to be made here in the in the coming weeks the first one was between Jasmine and the likes of a car Maria and car Maria beat out Jasmine in that decision but now also Nicole we know isn't really aligned with K Maria either so maybe there's another tough decision for Jay that is coming in

30:45 The coming weeks here but how do you feel about him sort of backing her in this moment because it re he she really needed his vote here like if he didn't swing then she wouldn't have been able to use the negotiation skills she had a to say I'll give you a star if I was to go back down again I really like Jay and I'm impressed with how he's playing the game because I think he's playing a rather I don't know he's playing a very smart strategic game but he's also not doing the whole thing where it's like when I think of somebody who plays the fence I think of like Derek he has few handful of people that he like you know he's going to ride for but at that same time he's going to go with like trying to be everybody's friend and everything Jay I feel has been strategic in like the nominations where he'll say oh I can't say Brandon's name oh I can't say Jasmine's name like he's made it clear like I can't say Cara's name I will say this person's name like he has people that he's willing to take a stand for and not just say everybody's piling up kind of like what Tina did with the Rachel vote I'll just say Rachel's name who cares the votes were already there like Jay still has that where it's like multiple times in the voting he's like I can't say Brandon and then he's telling Cara of all people saying like I don't want to say Jasmine's name

32:05 And I thought I thought that was very interesting of a way to play the game but also be brutally honest while also just like kind of showing people where the cards are and it's like he's coming off very trustworthy he's playing very well physically in the games and I thought that his reasoning was very sound when he's like talking in the confessionals being like I'm to back Cara she needs somebody in her in her back pocket I could be that guy I could be your number one I could be Nicole's number one now I'm two people's number one while they're my one and two you can give or take whoever's in the better position at that point but he's like kind of playing that way of being like I made a stand I'm connecting here and then he was very sound in his in his logic it wasn't emotional you could tell he thought it through like Jasmine has a lot of people I'm probably on the bottom so she can't help me anyways so I'm just going to go for it you know so I'm very I'm actually very surprised with how Jay prior to coming into this I didn't know how he was going to play I felt like he was either going to get thrown in early or he was going to be completely invisible but I've been actually very impressive he's actually been very impressive through the first six episodes where I'm like dude's playing a really sound logic game that I feel like he's making connections while also making the right game moves

1:14:52 Really put in there so Cyrus obviously is someone that has been but he came in late so that counted against them and then if you look at Janelle she left right A blew up her own game so I get from a point that it optically doesn't really look good but I think if you look at it there's a lot of people who are not connected cont for sure yeah there's some context I feel like but again I'm not I don't want to I want I'm not saying that there couldn't be more I'm just I'm just trying to say like there is potentially other reason as well I put the two white guys in a in a tough position well I was gonna say if the challenge Allstars is trying to go back to a like an OG version type of the challenge and a throwback way of the challenge I mean this is nothing new I mean the first ones targeted in like early seasons were players yeah were players of color who only had there was only like one or two players of color on those Seasons so it's like I don't know it's kind of it's wild to see it in this context definitely I mean it Paints the picture it definitely paints like I didn't until kuna pointed it out I didn't actually realize it myself and like you said like 100% like it's interesting and I think what it really points out to because I said I said like hey lot of these players that have come back they're not as connected

1:16:13 They've been out of the realm for a while and obviously we talk about this with the main show where you get the Internationals come in they have to play against people from the US that they're all divided they haven't had time comb and with aied now they're coming against people who have been consistently in the think if you look at it that step deeper why haven't a lot of these players come back right so why have kefla like we spoke about it earlier or Brandon or you know Ty or Cyrus like or Janelle why have they been out of the game for as long because yes there is clearly the thing that they weren't connected but there was also a trend of certain players and maybe some of these players of color that have not been asked back right so that is put them in a bad spot coming into I don't what I'm trying to say is I don't know if that is the reason they got voted out this season but there is a KnockOn effect of them not having been in the challenge realm for long enough that have put them at a disadvantage coming into a season like this that do I make sense or am I not making sense I'm Noto sure if that's making sense so I feel like there is something there I just don't know if it's directly at the season or if it's pointing to something even deeper where we haven't seen a lot of them and I know the challeng has come a long way and they're trying to add more diversity and I think they've done a reasonbly good job in recent seasons and doing it I think they're ahead of some other franchises when it comes to it but have they gotten it right over the years no there's been massive blowups in the past controversies
