2:40 Freaking prize money but will they get it because the missions are just so intense I don't know yeah I mean I feel like if there's anyone to blame as you and your cast Julia cuz you guys made like the perfect Pi like Rickard right last season right you voted out the majority like the most amount of Traders anyone else has voted out before right like you guys did such a great job and now they like I feel production has to raise the stakes little bit it's like we've already conquered the best W how we GNA do it again yeah I mean in a way I feel like we made it harder for ourselves though too because we were so good towards the end it was kind of like what's happening who is it who is it now you know because everybody just keep getting churned through or recruited or you know blackmailed or whatever so yeah I agree I agree they've had to like step it up so poor season two castmates we're sorry we're sorry well I mean that's this quick could start off this podcast exactly the same way the week started off so V WAMU gets murdered like we devastated

4:00 Dude I'm sorry first couple of there are so many look it's been a week off and then all these cast members and I have to go who's who again I've forgotten so when I saw that he was murdered I was like okay I completely i' forgotten what happened over the week fair enough fair enough I wasn't devastated I was just like okay cool fair enough well an issue with this season Julia I feel like compared to your season is that we've got 22 players in this season which is so much which I think your season had like 18 or 19 people so how's it been for you trying to well totally well Sam Fury remember he disappeared straight away 18 yeah so it was far easier to stay on top of things whereas yeah this season it's a lot of people and there is so much going on that it's kind of like who's doing what now you know and we hadn't to a credit V we hadn't seen a huge amount of wo I don't believe so you know a bit like Bailey I am so I have my money on Bailey so hard just because we haven't seen her she's been so quiet

8:01 What's going on like one of the most popular Australian Survivor players have you seen Australian Survivor Julia no well one of the most popular ass Survivor players of all time at the moment is this guy named George and something that George is doing so good at doing it's just thriving in chaos so he'll throw at nam's Left Right Center he'll do this he'll do that but no one can really catch up with them if that Mak sense and I feel that Bri is kind of doing she's just throwing out so stuff right now no one can really catch up to her if that makes sense yeah I'm so I'm you know like we'll talk about maybe later we're going from the end of episode four here but holy smokes I am so hopeful that she stays in and I'm and I think that they might keep her in and perhaps offload oh what's his name no no if they upload no and keep breing just for the chaos you know I really hope that happens that would be that would be great I that would be my ideal scenario anyway yeah definitely well let's dive deep into this first mission because I was a little bit confused about this because I feel like it was

9:21 Definely one of the most hardest missions simply because you kind of just had to know and understand Wu really well so essentially the mission was is that all of all of wamu's like closest mates in the game all had to get together while everyone else was in like a funeral for him and that kind of matched the other contestants with how he genuinely thought of each person like who was the most annoying who was the most bossiest who was like the nicest and stuff like that V how do you think you could have gone in like a challenge like this oh well first of all shout out to the actor that played the priest he was fantastic he was so good I loved him he was terrific he was having so much fun up there I mean they've always got to have a bit of a mean one don't they you know saying who's bossiest who's most least favorite all that stuff it's just you know and it's so early on I mean these people have haven't known each other for that long and so to start to point Who's most bossiest or from the point of view of someone else I thought that was PR pretty rough on everyone but the whole sequence was just so wonderful because of the that priest he yeah he just tickled me I loved him

12:02 And I think it could work out to their favor but it obviously may not because they're playing so overtly is overt covert I don't know it's just like oh man but I'm loving this Britney Whitney off and it gets so good like Britney man she has had such a rough episode like day three her so mean in that mission quite hurtful I was when I watched this episode when James and I were watching it I was like oh my gosh it's actually quite mean just yeah quite but I understood it I understood it that it was there to throw you know put a cat amongst pigeons I guess you know to really stir things up PE for people so almost like a personal attack to get emotions up but yeah I man Brit is holding it together she's holding it together and she's coming out strong and she's right and that is pretty gangster i' and I've cut out what's

13:22 Happening yeah I think we lost a we bit there but I do completely agree with you Britney like took this really tough episode and she like spun it around in the end like within a spof episode only was her name getting thrown around but I think her and Molly are kind of like a package deal her Molly and Utah I feel like they're like a three that's constantly moving forward together and they really spun things around back onto Jackie and Paul Molly copped a lot of votes and stuff at the round table which we'll get into in a second but I feel like Britney went from literally Zero to Hero cuz she pioneered getting like a Trader out V if you're at the round table and you saw a performance like bri would you think that she's potentially another traitor simply because of how she went from Zero to Hero so quickly or do that like she's a faithful I think it would depend on how what else is going on because you can't chase after every faithful that's right thinking that they're handing over a sacrificial land which essentially what the idea was anyway but yeah it' have to depend on what else is going on but that's interesting I didn't think of it like that yeah well how about you Julia

14:42 Simply because with something like this right I don't think we had a moment like this in your season where someone truly did go from you know on the absolute bottom about to get voted out and then became the hero by the end of the Round Table how do you perceive a player like that do sorry continue oh I feel like my internet is like not doing a great job for me this evening I look I can get taking 5058 it can be oh maybe they are a Trader and they're throwing another Trader under the bus or it's yeah full hero mode but it's great for the viewer right like here she comes what a Legend yeah if it was me I would probably go okay definitely proving her innocence as well and I also don't know where the suspicion of Brit really came from that was that was purely just from Whitney right like going it's her it's her it's her but what was the reason that it was her well something that I've sort of thought about while watching many seasons of the Traders is that there's at least one person who's

16:03 Like somewhat of like a celebrity if that makes sense who's always sort of selected as a as a Trader like I think it was it was Koozie she was like a big brother player in Canada she was quite popular she was a Trader Big Brother Canada and the American traders has always been quite like a famous sort of reality tv player who's chosen for last year's season of New Zealand y like Matt Heath for example right and like Lauren from Dancing With the Stars so it's always like kind of like a high-profiled sort of person outside of the game who always like tends to start off as a Trader so I can kind of see trying to use that argument of oh well someone like Britney who does have a huge like social media presence and stuff could be could be a tra if that kind of Mak sense yeah definitely yeah all right well let's move on to the vote itself so the vote was split in like four or five different ways which how do we get to this conclusion I don't know no like randomly turns on Molly like oh yeah that's a that's a great example there Whitney but Molly and he like flips things on to Molly the votes but

17:23 Between no Molly Jackie and Mark have you seen the vote as crazy as this before Julia nuts totally nuts do you know what as well I wonder if there's any sort of strategic voting actually going on because I think we talked about this last time is that when we went into roundtables we kind of knew where the room was going and we were quite strategic about who we were going to vote for so we KN knew if we had the room you know in terms of a majority vote and I'd mentioned we'd done all like the sign language and stuff before we weren't allowed to do that but we did it anyway but in this season I feel as though people were just completely Rogue they're doing what they want there's some people that are obviously going with the room but also some people are just going oh no I think it's them and I'm going to vote for them yeah you know that's kind of how it looks to me you know I wonder were they were they really going with you know like a pre you know what are the alliances are they discussing it and going I'm not going to move we're not going to move from where we're going pre- round table because you can really

18:43 Be convinced in a round table to shift your vote otherwise and make it go somewhere else so it's really interesting because we were like not nothing's going to move us especially in the early days I would say to about I would say at least 70% of the game we were really stuck in like no this is who we think it is we're not going to move even regardless of what anyone SE in the round table We're not gonna we're not going to buy it yeah well v as someone who's watched a lot of shows with me something like I've sort of found is that with this season specifically we actually don't get a lot of pre- Round Table chats we just get like a vague idea on who's going to get targeted and then just every everything comes out at the round table and then you know votes fly left right and Center have you seen a show similar to this where like there's actually not much strategy before like a tribal or like elimination and then everything happens at the elimination yeah I feel like Survivor us seems to be going that way a little bit more where they really make in terms of the show they make a lot of time for the tribal and I feel like this season of the Traders is doing that they're really making a lot of time for the round table and taking out some of that

20:03 Chitchat that you see on like us Traders and last season for New Zealand Traders where you can start to get a sense of where the conversation is going but I also think it's if you've got an agenda to get a name out there sometimes the best thing to do is just to put the name out there and say the name and so when you say it next week people like oh it's still it's still in their heads so it could be that we've just got a group of people who are really eager to play and to own the game and take control rather than sit back wait and go with the flow yeah well you know at the end of the night the vote is tied between Molly and Jackie and I'm even though I find Jackie very entertaining there's something about Molly that I really like Julie like do you feel something similar like totally I feel she's my spirit animal because I'm like what do she I feel like there's so much more to Molly that we just haven't seen yet and I kind of wanted to see the Traders you know have their gameplay play out you know she was Jackie was Bor in initially

21:23 As the psy and I and I wanted to see that come to fruition and I also want wanted to see what they're going to do next because of course they've started off with four Traders and we only started with the three originally so it's really interesting that you know the faithful aren't going to know really that there was they might think that there's only two now but actually there's three and that they'll have no idea the numbers so it's exciting do they bring in another one do they bring in Britney do they bring in Brie do they bring in null you know like maybe they bring in null and then throw null under the bus I it could probably go that way because that makes sense right they think a term is no going to get brought in I hope so it'd be interesting if at the breakfast they both walk in at the start of next episode you've got both BR walking in that would be pretty chaotic that would be wild happen I would love that but I do think that with the twist itself either brute or null gets murdered and that's why they dug up the graves

22:43 Yeah I don't know I think you're right I think I think it's pretty much written into the script so to speak that's the idea but we'll just have to wait and see maybe they can turn it on their on its head yeah well right before Jackie does get eliminated Jackie does bring up you know that she's some kind of like you know sidekick you know like that type person very famously Julia you had a sidekick on your season and in my opinion she made one of the greatest moves ever by setting up six episodes prior to Robbie's elim to Rob's elimination by predicting she' be a traitor she just never seen man yeah she never said when Robbie would be a traitor and yeah like if kimbery had made it through the episode like do you guys reckon you would have targeted kimbery at some point because she was a psychic or no I don't think so I really loved him and even on day one she wasn't giving me Trader Vibes anyway I just didn't get that from her so this the gutting thing about Kim is she was totally there to play but I think the

24:03 Theory was is that she had too much influence in the room so whether or not people believed that she was or it was legitimate or whatever if she came forward and said hey you know and n did actually name one of the Traders then that was too risky for them you know even though I don't think anyone in that conclave was thinking that she could be correct but if she but anything if she even if she was or wasn't it was too risky for them they needed to get rid of her so yeah it was a smart move well let's move on into the next episode where once again so much happens so I feel like everything happened in this one week it was just too much to catch up and so we started out in traitor's Tower or shri's toilet Hut is what I personally like to look at it as and poor drops in my opinion a pretty brutal twist where they have to select three grave diggers to pretty much dig up their own Graves and one of them is guaranteed to be lying in that grave V you know I know that you don't know much about like I guess New Zealand icons or New Zealand sort of celebrities what's been your thoughts on Paul Henry so far oh he's having so much fun

29:24 So I reckon it's coming a yeah well I mean let's quickly talk about this Whitney versus Mike so when I watched the first two episodes with HH something that heish pointed out was Mike seems like he's a really strategic guy but Whitney's really taking the lead you get what I mean like she's really driving the strategy she's driving this is what we're doing this is what we're doing this is what we're doing but Mike sort of just sitting back do you Reon there's actually like a hidden like strategist actually do you reckon he's like the phix Dan the ni Brook for example and just going to come out of nowhere and Run the game what's your thoughts on that Julia oh definitely I kind of saw that from day one that the others specifically Mike was kind of standing back and just letting her control it and I think that's a real good power play because you know it could work out really well for him because when somebody is doing all the control or making all the decisions the other people just sitting in the background letting it happen and scheming and letting them kind of unfold or Unravel themselves naturally so yeah I'm really interested to see where Mike takes it next and I think I think he's gonna play his move

30:44 Soon I've just got this vibe that he's going to do it next episode man I reckon he's coming for her at the round table well V who do you think is going to take it out Whitney or Mike I Whitney is formidable she's oh I think she's so wonderful to watch I'm a big fan of how she's playing but she is you know she's playing really hard and exactly what Julia said you get to just watch her unravel so if Julia can squash an uprising or a coup or something sorry yeah Whitney if she can squash an uprising or a coup I think that would just be fabulous to watch that would be so good and then she'd just be right up there for me yeah well Julia I'm not sure if you've seen many like Survivor Seasons but from time to time there's always like one or two players who just play way too hard from the start but they sort of burn themselves out the further they go down and they make more sloppy mistakes do you think that's kind of what's happening to Whitney at the moment because we do see Bri oh no was it Bri no it was Britany we see Britany call her out for some stuff she's been doing and she was trying to defend herself but wasn't really giving like that great answers

34:44 Like and was like what you were you were with him all day and kind of like team Andrew and now all of a sudden you're no longer team Andrew she I mean for a viewer it is so great to watch and I love that she is changing direction of the game all the time I honestly think that Bri could seriously be our under the radar strategist here as well like maybe she's playing it so chaotic that this could all be her strategy honestly like I'm with you not I'm not with you or maybe it could just be too chaotic that it becomes too noisy for people and they want to get rid of her who knows but that was wild yeah well we do have a couple comments here from Andre and I nominate this as the best move of the week and potential nominee for best move of the Season it just came out of nowhere like you was like okay Bri what's your thoughts on this and you know she took a deep breath I was okay she's gonna drill into n like he's not GNA know how to come back from this and then she just drills into Andrew like what a plot twist V like we've covered like a few shows together have you ever seen a moment like this and

38:45 But that seems kind of sus because why would you be cool C and collected why am I so relaxed yeah well let's move on so Andrew unfortunately does get the banishment and Julia I don't know I felt my heart broke a little bit because Andrew was such a big character in the first four episodes we shocked to see Andrew I was GED I was GED I was GED because I could see his reality you know the his views of how what he thought was going on you know with Jackie and then no being in there and then who was his other traitor that he thought was there it was Jackie it was null I'm not sure about the third one did was it Utah or like oh I can't remember the third but you know but respectfully you can totally understand it you know the reality of what he thought was going on and when he thinks he's right about Jackie and he was and then he goes okay cool well then the rest must be true I must be on track of what's happening I'm right here I'm right you know so I was really gutted for him to lose

40:05 Him that early on and because he seemed like a really beautiful person as well you know like lovely to watch too so that was gutting for him to go but also exciting for the audience because now we're left in this real predicament with two interesting plays that could that could happen I'm hoping they keep breing for chaos and I'm also hoping that they bring in n as a traitor keep Bri and nobody gets murdered and then just watch see what happens and see if n can infiltrate maybe work with Mike and get rid of Whitney or something like crazy it'll be so fun oh I can't wait well something that Andrew did do which I think was pretty smart was he hinted to that he knew she was a traitor and I feel like it's a strategy that's been talked about a lot but we haven't really seen play out before V how can you navigate a like a game as a faithful when you know people are Traders like would you like keep really close with them towards the very end and if so because if they go down similar to Jackie you seem like an obvious Target next as well I thought

41:25 His reasoning was really smart made a lot of sense to me having that Guardian Angel es especially someone like Jackie who seemed to be playing less for strategy and more for the fun of it all and more for the relationships and so I think I think he made a good choice with the type of tra traitor he aligned himself with I don't think it was smart to tell everyone after the fact that was what happened I think keeping that to himself would have been smarter because it just and like he said at the round table he's like yeah I'll wear it makes him seem less trustworthy and I think he was trying to make that a argument for him being a faithful but should have just kept to kept it to himself but I thought that was really smart yeah well qu Julia I thought it was a smart Gameplay at first but I feel like once you start announcing that to the other players like oh I didn't want Jacky to go because she was like my traitor's guardian angel like if someone had told you that in the game how would you react to that
